Is gambling illegal? In some countries yes, in some not. I would understand if person hide that he gamble in country where it is illegal. About feelings, if I am an adult, why would I be ashamed of gambling? Or feel uncomfortable from doing something that brings me fun. Seems absurd to me.

Telling someone about gambling is definitely out of the picture, because this might ruined our reputation. Like me, I'm not open with my gambling activities to anyone except with my colleagues, ensuring they also anticipate in the system. Telling someone about winnings in the system will only bring more eyes on you, and people will destroy what they know about and they will never have knowledge about one's plans, only if we keep everything mute. Most people always keep the activities they anticipated in lowkey because that's the appropriate way to lived.

maybe one day you will find a long story about my life in gambling and the conclusion is that I am always open with my family and especially my own wife. and not only that, my parents also know about my gambling activities because in the past before I got married I was a gambler who was crazy about gambling but they (my family) always hid about my bad things in the past and until now they all know about my activities.

the reason I dont hide this activity with my family is because for me the family is the most important person in everything, they remain family who will help with any problems and will maintain confidentiality which is not appropriate to tell and I dont have full trust in people out there like friends or companions because they will only be good when there are no problems, but when they have a problem, evil will be spread, including gambling activities.
so there is no other reason to keep my gambling a secret from others and be open with my family.

therefore I say ignore my advice if it does not make you comfortable because as I said above I respect the decisions of other people opinions because I dont know for sure what your family environment is like. and above I also said that there is a possibility that it is due to religious factors that you have to cover up your gambling activities.

If keeping some things private doesn't make people dare to point fingers against us then I think it's better to keep those things private. Whether you are earning money by gambling or you are losing money by gambling, your neighbors will discuss and criticize you. Where money is yours, people will make negative comments about you. If people's negative comments don't make you mentally weak then it's not a problem but if people's words make you mentally weak then it's better to keep the work you are doing private.

Recently I had an incident with a gambler, this guy is a trader and he has been into trading for quiet a good period of time and has really made a fortune out of it, he is aswell prominent in my country ad many people has been under his mentorship and have turned out successful as traders aswell.

Imho there are two sides of the coin in this situation. In one hand, if you hide, in case of troubles, no one would be able to spot that you need help.
