Good point about hiding and feelings. People hide things they do because they are either feel uncomfortable (like feeling ashamed of it) what they do, or the things they do has illegal context. Is gambling illegal? In some countries yes, in some not. I would understand if person hide that he gamble in country where it is illegal. About feelings, if I am an adult, why would I be ashamed of gambling? Or feel uncomfortable from doing something that brings me fun. Seems absurd to me.

Telling someone about gambling is definitely out of the picture, because this might ruined our reputation. Like me, I'm not open with my gambling activities to anyone except with my colleagues, ensuring they also anticipate in the system. Telling someone about winnings in the system will only bring more eyes on you, and people will destroy what they know about and they will never have knowledge about one's plans, only if we keep everything mute. Most people always keep the activities they anticipated in lowkey because that's the appropriate way to lived.

The reason I keeping my gambling habits secret is like hiding something I do because I'm worried about what others might think or because it's causing some issues in my life. Imho there are two sides of the coin in this situation. In one hand, if you hide, in case of troubles, no one would be able to spot that you need help. On the other, people usually dont support gamblers and judge them. I would not want someone to talk about me gambling, in fact, I dont like that someone discuss me in general. Personally, I would not keep in secret that I gamble, but I wont flash it also.

Many people like to gamble but no one can see the gambling of others. So if someone suffers a lot through gambling then no one wants to come forward to help him easily. I am not secreting my gambling to anybody I even show everyone about my gaming since i was young.

everyone has the habit of flexing and it is a very difficult thing to get rid of, even I myself sometimes want to show off my winnings when gambling lol, but in the end I avoid doing that. It all depends on the person, if he has the same friends with the same habits, namely like gambling, maybe they tell each other but not with just anyone. Why not be open with our habit? There is a response above about, people hiding it due to the favor they'll need in future. People are considering gambling as a criminal activity because it is a reality that gambler never think about others and they think that if they stop gambling then there will be no money with which is an apposite situation.
