Bit of a fumble today at the start but i guess we can trust the Rohit-Rahul pair with the bat. Sometimes you have to respect conditions and respect the opponent bowlers as well.

In the context of the WC journey, it won't be bad if batters get a reality check. It could very well work in Indian favor as far as knockouts are concerned.

Rohit Sharma is doing his duty properly. Rohit Sharma is still unbeaten with 82 runs from 90 balls. But Kl Rahul could not extend his innings much. KL Rahul returned to the dressing room after collecting 39 runs from 58 balls. Rahul's strike rate was only 67. After a long time I saw Rahul batting at such a bad strike rate. India managed to collect 141 runs in 32 overs. They managed to collect an average of 4.4 runs per over. If Rohit Sharma survives at the crease, India will give a target of more than 260 very easily. But if Rohit Sharma is out, it may not be possible for India to collect more than 250.

165 for 5 with Rohit gone on 87 which is a big below for them because right now we have SKY and next man is Jadeja with India is having same team no place for Ashwin this not good, but they are giving their players more time which is also good right now if we have 250 this could be good score but look like today first time we will have no big score by India in this event.
Today England is doing good job from the start of this match and not allowing Indian batsmen to play freely which is their trade-mark for me pitch is not ideal for the batting which is also going to happen against England as well, and they could be not able to chase this target as well because Jadeja and K Yadav both are handy bowlers which are not easy to face in these conditions.

Today is going to be a really incredible match.India is still the top team in the points table while England is at the bottom of the points table.Today the game of these two teams so far England is performing well England is performing well especially their bowling.Only Rohit Sharma played well today and he scored 87 runs. Maybe in today's match, India is going to be all out for the lowest number of runs in this World Cup.If England can capitalize on this opportunity, they will win the match today.

Lots of miss and hits in Indian batting today. Iyer was a big disappointment because of his game plan against short pitch deliveries and Gill is kinda giving a bad vibe.

KL Rahul wicket was crucial as he and Rohit were looking good and they did the hard yards. He should've been a bit careful with the expensive shot as they had enough overs in the bank. Brohit was good but got out at the wrong which cost India at least 30 runs, similarly with SKY as he got out at the wrong time. Very pleasing to see Indian tailenders contributing 21 runs and batting full 50 overs, it's a big plus and positive because we do have a long tail. It's not a match winning total but bowlers should back themselves here, despite being 1 spinner short.  

England should look for complete domination with the bat and try not to settle Indian bowlers, otherwise, Jaddu-Kuldeep can do some serious damage.

But Bangladesh's batting line was so bad that the Bangladeshi batsmen lost one wicket after another while scoring 230 runs. The way we think, a target of 230 runs seems too easy for England but considering Lucknow's wicket, India can put up quite a fight with 229 runs. Batting on the wicket on which the game was being played was not so easy. We could see that the balls were not hitting the bat as expected which resulted in the batsmen getting out like this. The second innings started with England managing to score just four runs in the first over. Where as other teams score 300 plus runs and are not guaranteed victory, even 230 runs is not safe for India so if India are to do anything good in the match, they will have to fall several early wickets. If England can bowl economically along with falling a few early wickets, then India can create a chance to win this match.

As I was saying batting on this wicket will not be easy for the batsmen. Bhumra and Mohammad Shami literally destroyed England's wicket in the first 10 overs. Such a great start was what the Indian fans were waiting for. England have lost 4 wickets in the first ten overs, it is very difficult for England to come back from the bad situation they are in now because if the two batsmen who are on the wicket are out then England will definitely lose this match by a big margin. Since the ball was not coming into the bat as expected, there was nothing for the England batsmen to be in such a hurry. If the first 10 overs could have been played patiently, then the result of this match might have been in favor of England.

It's a bat second deck because of dew and it's already visible. In the next few overs, bowlers will start using towels. They are not using one atm because of some fine spell of Bumrah and Shami. To get an advantage of dew batters need to surpass 30 yard circle so that the ball kisses the outfield regularly, so props to fielding and the bowlers to keeping things tight.

The dew factor is something that would affect the bowlers, still it won't affect the Indian team as 4 main players of the English team are already gone. Another wicket and this match would eventually become a one sided game.

Currently, England is 5 down, and they are in deep trouble. I think this game is almost over for them. They need another 160 runs to win this match, and they have the last recognized batting pair on the crease. The task of chasing this total is huge. India bowled beautifully till now, particularly, the fast bowlers.
India should easily win this match in the next 15 to 20 overs. Spinners are tightening the screws further, and English batters are struggling to pick them up. Game over for England.

An Indian reporter also brought up that topic in a post-match conference after Bangladesh lost the game against the Netherlands.

But after watching the scoreboard between India vs England, I guess there are some pitches where bowlers also get benefited. England struggling at this moment and it seems it will be impossible for them to score 120 runs today.

Not just this wicket, even Chepauk has been good for both batting and bowling also the dew comes in the later stage which nullifies the pitches.

England again falling apart, 98/7 and great show again by Shami along with Bumrah, so probably he might replace Siraj if Hardik comes into XI and that is the right thing to do because he really proved more than anyone in the given two chances and picked 8 wickets already in his 16 overs of this tournament which also came against two big teams.

The last known batter for England, Livingston is out. 8 wickets gone within the 30th over. This game is going to end in another couple of overs. Another game where Indian batters were not good but bowlers proved that they are an attack to reckon. Mohammad Shami again proved that he needs to be part of the playing 11. After Hardik makes a comeback which I am uncertain for now, Rohit would be in a dilemma to choose either Shami or Shiraz.
