Afghanistan did a very low score and gave a poor target to Bangladesh. They are all out in 37 over and scored just 156. The target of 156 is suited in T20 but this is one-day. This target is so poor and I know that the winner of this match is Bangladesh. Rashid also cannot play well in this match. I think this is not a good match for Afghanistan.

Afghanistan team did well early but saw their batsmen try to play long short that is the main reason for losing early some wickets. Two batsmen lost wickets due to inside edges but most of the players returned with catches. Bangladeshi bowlers have enough praise in world cricket. Shakib Al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taskin Ahmed all bowled well and they were successful. I believed from the start that if Bangladesh could pick up a couple of wickets then Bangladesh would come back in this match and ultimately it happened in the end. The lack of crowds has been extremely disappointing in this World Cup. I am sure everyone was expecting a lot more people than this.

People are losing interest in the 50 overs formats, especially in a country like India, where everyone is crazy for T20. Another reason is the games are starting in the Afternoon when the temperature is high. By evening the stadium looks better than afternoon when crowds do come in to watch the matches.

The match between South Africa and Sri Lanka is going to be another waste of time. The way Srilankans are bowling South Africa might score more than 400 runs. It is very bad to see how Srilankan cricket has deteriorated in just a few years. They were once a team that had bowlers like Vaas and Murlitharan, now they do not have bowlers who are anything near to the legends.

Damn South African's are in not good mood as from the start of the match they are not allowing Sri Lankan bowlers to have any rest time two centuries from Dusan and de Kock now Markram and Klaasen at the top of the game after 40 overs I check they have 291 but now just after 3 overs they are at the 342 for four which mean 400+ is on cards which could be blitzing start from them in this world cup and with this performance now situation is very interesting because all pundits already fix two teams for the last four Australia and India, and now we will have tough competition between England, New Zealand and South Africa for the last two spots with rest of teams have no chance for these four spots.

As of now, they are only short of 27 runs and they still have 12 balls to face. It is an achievable task considering the number of batters who are yet to bat. If that happens then Srilanka would have another bad cricket record on their name going into the history book. Outstanding batting by the South African batters, their form shows how much they can be a pain for teams like India, New Zealand, England, and Australia.

Afghanistan batted very well at the start, but could not handle the pressure as the wickets fell, eventually Afghanistan were bowled out for 156 runs.  Bangladesh won by a big margin of 6 wickets. In this match, South Africian team performance was commendable, one of opener batsmans were show great performance and also completed his century his name was Q.de Kock. He scored 100 runs in 84 balls and hitted twelve 4s and three 6s. Also other batsman played very well like R.ven der Dussen and A.Markhum both these batters also contribute their struggle for South Africa. R.ven der Dussen made brilliant century and scored 108 runs in 113 balls and hitted thirteen 4s and two 6s then out and other batter A.Markhum also made outstanding century for theri team. Now their batting time finished and they successfully gave really a big target to Sri Lanka team and I don't think that Sri Lanka will chase down this big target.

How far do you think Sri Lanka's innings can go against South Africa? South Africa are the first opponents to score 428 runs against Sri Lanka. No team has scored so many runs against Sri Lanka in any tournament before. I think it is impossible to chase 428 runs to win, 428 runs in the first innings but 429 runs in the second innings is impossible. 
No batsman can succeed in a long 50-over target of 429 runs because they have to score almost nine runs in each over, if for some reason they fail to score 9 runs then they have to score 10 runs in the next over. 

At 103 runs for 2 wickets in the first 11 overs, it's a good start for Sri Lanka but I'd say Sri Lanka's innings won't go far. If any one of the two who are batting is out, the run rate will decrease a lot. No matter how well Sri Lanka do, at the end of the day, the result of the match will go in Africa's favour.

Still, Sri Lanka need to score 156 runs off 74 balls to meet the target, which is not easy, and we can definitely predict that South Africa will win the match by a huge margin. I have no doubt that England and Australia are very strong. But I have seen the performance of England players against New Zealand. And I was very disappointed with this match. Despite having so many talented players in England's squad, their performances were poor. The performance of England's bowlers as well as the batsmen has left me very disappointed. On the other hand, the performance of the Australian players is also somewhat erratic. But I'm not saying they can't qualify for the semi-finals. My guess is that we will probably see one of these two teams in the semi-finals.

Such a score for South Africa on the World Cup stage has boosted their confidence to a unique level. The team has set a huge target of 429 runs which is very difficult for any team to chase down. Sri Lanka made some progress but they could not hold on their wickets. Playing against such a big score, they have to play hard and keep wickets or else they will not be able to reach the target. If Sri Lanka's first two wickets had got runs, they might have gone further. Overall they played well as they managed to score 326 runs against 429 runs. They managed to bat till 44.5 overs and if the wicket had been there the margin of defeat would have been reduced further.

I have already replied to this before. I think its cursory and false to look at this in binaries, sure people are losing interest. But could things have been improved? Absolutely.

Bangladesh's 2 opening batsmen were out by making two types of mistakes. Tanzid Hasan was the victim of a run-out first, the run he was chasing was never run, saying how he tried to get a run at short mid-wicket with the ball in the fielder's hand wherever there was a fielder. 
Fazal Haque Farooqui said Liton Das's dismissal was really unexpected, the kind of dismissal that happens when a player has no confidence in himself. Many off-stump balls hit the inside of the batsman's bat and hit the stumps, professional batsmen rarely make such outs. 

The next match is against England who are much stronger than Afghanistan and whose batting line is much stronger so the two opening batsmen have to give a good start only then Bangladesh can dream of winning against England.

It’s time for India vs Australia. The match, that every Indian fan was waiting for. India haven’t played a single practice match in this world cup. Hence Today’s match will be the real first game for the team. With this they have also a bad news that Subhman Gill won’t play the first match due to Dengue. Now I guess Ishan will open with Rohit and we will see both Shreyas and KL in middle order. Moreover as the match is in Chennai so Indian team and Rohit Sharma will prefer extra spinner in the squad. So Ashwin will definitely play today’s match. Now let’s hope for the best. How Indian Batsmen gonna tackle Mitchell Starc, we will see that.
