Unimaginable performance from schick. This guy truly the MVP from this match. His two goals in the stoppage time really saved the clkub from losing a spot in the europa league this season. Things are going even harder for leverkusen from now. There will be only top clubs that will compete in the upcoming match.

Whether you are an Italian football fan or not, the games that are getting destroyed by this freaking Italian teams are a waste and you can only hope that no young people watch those games. It is always the same. I watched the entire Brighton - Roma game and from the first second it was obvious that the game plan was to fall down and act as if the leg is broken. Delay any throw-in, any goal kick, any free kick, any injury, any discussion, and in my opinion it has nothing to do with excitement and fun for anyone who loves football. I can't speak on behalf of the referee right now because if I do, I might actually get banned. This referee ruined the chances of Roma last year, and robbed them off their deserved europa title, and not only he was not taken from his position, he is still given important games. He was also the one that ruined our game against Sparta as well so I can't say that I am not biased towards him, we have video proof that there were at least 3 situations that should have been potential red card (two of them second yellow, one direct red) and he did not give it. In any case, Leverkusen did played well enough, nobody says they didn't "deserve" it, but Karabag was the one that should have won this, the referee just let the game go up until Leverkusen can win, it was too obvious that he had a favorite in the game. I wouldn't be too shocked to learn decades later that he was actually betting on the games, not himself directly, no ref does that, but just tip others and make money from it. Its not unheard of, and happened many times before and found out only decades later.

Xabi and his team must improve in the next round, otherwise the competition will soon be over for Leverkusen.

I never thought if Qarabag can make Leverkusen gets in trouble because before this match honestly i was underestimate them but surprisingly Qarabag can successfully to make Leverkusen have to hard struggling and i didn't watching this match but only following update scores of this match but when i saw Qarabag can leading the game 2-0 until 70 minutes i was lost hope for Leverkusen because i thought this team will not qualified but Leverkusen has prove to us that they have champion mentallity and they can fliped the situations and dramatically won the match and eliminate Qarabag

I have to says Leverkusen performance a bit decline during knockout phase because they unable to gets easy win from Qarabag which is on the paper this is should be easy match for Leverkusen but regardless all of it Leverkusen still deserved to called as strong candidate for the trophy and for other match although in the first leg Liverpool can able to win with big scores from Sparta Praha but today they didn't hold back because although Klopp has decide to playing with some of reserved players but Liverpool has just gets fantastic win from Sparta Praha 6-1 and total aggregate for Liverpool vs Sparta Praha is 11-2

The matches that surprised me the most today were Benfica and Roma. Benfica scored a single goal and won, while Roma lost 1-0 in a game where they over-rotated and over-confident after the score in the first leg.
The performance of the night was of course Bayer Leverkusen. Despite going 2-0 down, they won 3-2 and maintained their unbeaten streak in all competitions. Pity for Qarabaq, but they didn't deserve to advance. Patrik Schick, one of my favorite players, changed the fate of the match.

I've been watching Bayer Leverkusen since the beginning of this season (some of their games) and I haven't seen them play with so much determination both in their league and in the Europa league, these guys are the best for me.
Xabi Alonso has really transformed this team to become one of the best in the world of football and if you ask me I'd say these guys can challenge Liverpool because I see both teams as the strongest and Klopp's boys can't withstand the pressure Bayer Leverkusen have with them and they bring it on in every game they play.
Let's forget the high number of goals Liverpool are scoring in  this competition, if we get to see Bayer Leverkusen against Liverpool I believe it would be hard for Liverpool to play that freely because Leverkusen will force them (Liverpool) to play to their tune and Bayer Leverkusen will win. I just hope to see Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso.

My heart almost fell again because of what they did the last time and again this they nearly did the same thing. I don't why but Leverkusen really need to cut  low on the amount of goals they conceive rather than scoring and also conceding more. A good offence is always a good defence and this is what Xabi Alonso should work on because I believe if this qarabag team was a different team they wouldn't have given up their two goals lead twice in the same fixture with Leverkusen.
