Unbelievable with Liverpool as favorite team for winning Europe League this season have loss on first leg match over 0-3 at Anfield Stadium, its not good capital for facing second leg match and Liverpool must winning above four goals if won't eliminated in quarter final round. I think Jurgen Klopp over confidence by saving some main players from Mohamad Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Andy Robertson and Luiz Diaz. Make several change on second half but not effective yet and Liverpool must improving hard their performance on second leg match if want qualify to next round.

Other quarter final leg match, AS Roma get the positive result after defeating AC Milan and get more advantage with second legs match will play on their home, need get draw or secure the winning result will make fantastic with Daniele De Rossi success bring Roma qualify to semifinal round and has chance to repeat AS Roma achievement under Jose Mourinho era qualified to final round.

Liverpool suffered an incredible defeat. Actually, it would not be right to say that they played poorly in the match, but they could not score a goal and therefore their chances of being eliminated in the quarter-finals are now quite high. Atalanta made good use of the opportunities and scored 3 goals, this will be a huge advantage for them.

The crazy thing about Jurgen Klopp's men performance yesterday is that they managed to be the only English team that was sorely humiliated by an Italian opposition at their home in the Europa league game. Atalanta made the extraordinary look normal in that match as they literally silenced Liverpool, leaving them to grasp at straws and putting yet another thing to worry about on Jurgen Klopp's mind.
 When they meet Atalanta on the 18th, they will have to score four goals to retain their place in the tournament else and with the Atalanta played so bravely while away and managed to take three goals from their hosts, what will they do when they play hosts? A goal fiesta maybe? I guess this is where Klopp will have to draw the curtain on the Europa league competition and focus his sights on the league so it doesn't become a situation of losing both while trying to salvage one.

from the day I watched this Atalanta team playing against Napoli in such a manner that Napoli was struggling theouout the match, I gave them 💯 respect to be honest. Those boys have the energy and the fighting spirit and you don't see a team as that and then you underate them and refuse bringing your key players into the game because you think You're the big team?

Of-course not. It was errors from Liverpool's side and poor defending. Every time Atlanta attacked, they looked like they would score. It was an off night for Liverpool, and their performance is a concern for the Premier League. Well played, Atlanta.

Liverpool lost this match due to underestimating Atalanta team. Atalanta team was not in good form. Atalanta have won just one of their last 5 matches in Serie A. And lost all three matches. The team's performance was very poor. Perhaps this is why Liverpool coach Klopp did not take the Atalanta team seriously. Such a mistake was not expected from an experienced coach like Klopp.

There is no doubt that Aatalanta's players performed well in this match. They exploited every weakness in Liverpool's players. Atalanta got a 1-0 lead in the first half. Scamacca performed well in this match. He scored two goals.

It is already quite hard to pick one game and watch that over at UCL when you have two at a time, but here at Europa it's even four at a time. UEFA must realize that they are literally losing money because of this, I am not saying put every game on a different date, but at least spread it around a bit, that way you could have less games per day.

When you put them all into a single day, people have to pick a game and just watch that, plus you could even make hours very different, hence even on a single day, you could have four different games, just have one start at afternoon if you want to. This situation should be fixed asap with the new league format, or we are going to see even more games all on the same day and less viewership because of it.

Most league have different competition to play and the international football are always around the corners. Uefa has little time to organize their games. This is the reason why their schedule is always having many games being played in a day. If they should spread it the way you are talking about, it will have severe effect on domestic league schedule. Uefa understand these things and decided to work the way they are doing.

This was a very valuable victory, apart from that Leverkusen really played a very good game and did not give West Ham the opportunity to develop their game so they could hold Leverkusen. They really controlled the game and they even pressed from the first minute to the last minute of the match.
If they can play like this in the second leg, then I am sure they will be able to win the game easily, because in this match their game was very good and did not give space to the opposing players. West Ham had to be forced to defend throughout the match, they had almost no chances and recorded only 1 attack. This is very good capital for them to look at the second leg.

It is always hard to predict the future. Imagine I also thought that those two clubs that you mentioned would also win their matches at home, but it turned out the other way round. There is still hope for Milan, if only they can make proper use of their chances in the second leg, compare to Liverpool that does not have any hope of winning Atalanta. Klopp didn't have much choice to do this rotation honestly. Because the Premier League title is the most important thing for them indeed and they have a game to play there this Sunday. He must have wanted to have at least some of his main players fully fit for the Crystal Palace game. Besides Liverpool actually played really good, the score shouldn't be misleading. They were just incapable of finishing lots of goal opportunities. 

Leverkusen were insanely good by the way.    They literally didn't let West Ham play. The final score seems as 2-0 maybe but believe me it could have ended much worse for West Ham.    After securing the Bundesliga title it looks like Xabi Alonso wants to go all in here.

This was a painful and embarrassing defeat that Liverpool experienced in front of their own supporters when they hosted Atalanta in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. I might still consider it normal if they lost with a score of 0-1 for example, but this time they had to lose with a striking score with 3 goals without reply. They were favorites from the start and they were even favorites to be in the final, but unfortunately they had to be destroyed in the first leg with a landslide score.

3 goals will be very difficult for them to catch in the second leg, especially since Atalanta will play as hosts in the match. I predict Atalanta will play more defensively because a 3 goal lead will be difficult to catch even though it could happen.

Leverkusen did not have an easy match but some substitutions from Xabi Alonso helped them to beat West Ham. 2 - 0 is a good result before a second leg match and Leverkusen are expanding their unbeaten streak in this season. They are continuing to aim at winning three titles in this season, Bundesliga (finished, we can say so), German National Cup, and Europa League.

There is a big difference between Liverpool and Leverkusen's game, I see Liverpool as if they are desperate because Atalanta's defense is quite solid which makes Liverpool frustrated and they continue to launch attacks so they forget about their defense which makes them have to concede 3 points, this is really quite surprising and I think now everything it's over for Liverpool.

As for Leverkusen, they are as usual, they are really consistent with their performance apart from the 2 goal wins they were able to score, but I see this team's game is really very consistent.

What else do you expect from Liverpool match when you see the likes of Jones, Elliot, Gakpo and tsimikas? Klopp deliberately gave away that game with his squad selection. You can not send a weak squad against an opponent like Atalanta as if it Norwich you are going to play and expect a miraculous result. The second half panic substitution makes things more difficult and worse. Klopp got what he deserved in that match, he's a kind of couch I know that he underrate his opponent so much. You can not underestimate any team in Europe that reach this stage of the competition but his pride won't allow him to act proper. Glad that he already admitted that they played very poorly. Liverpool is really creating doubt on their chances of winning the EPL title. Firstly, they bottled a five points lead in the Premier league and now they bottle the Europa league because beating Atalanta on away visit is not realistic.

This might be one of the most surprising matches of the year for me. Because the results of the match were truly beyond everyone's expectations. As if Liverpool were not a strong team competing for the title in the EPL. What I think is that Klopp made the wrong decision with their starting eleven. Because he didn't play M. Salah from the start of the match. Maybe Klopp underestimated Atalanta too much in that match. So the results are quite bad. We know that teams from Italy cannot always be underestimated. The proof is that last season the Champions League was also filled with teams from Italy in the semi-finals. Liverpool's hopes in the Europa League seem to be very difficult.
