Great game between almost identical level teams. Defence was key to win today, especially on last attack. I only don't understand why Pascuali didn't took timeout for last attack.

I dont know what happened to this team but they are playing bad and in the middle of the season the coach needs to be sacked for sure due to bad results. Maybe some players left but i think they got some great ones like Dinwiddie that is an amazing player. The change needed to happen so they can get a coach that can lead this team and maybe save their season.

I think the market for coaches wasnt better in a long time,so many good coaches without a job and i think they can pick a good one for sure.

Now Bayern announced that Svetislav Pesic is their new coach. He is a legend, but not sure about this signing, after all he is already 76 years old. But when his son is GM of Bayern, then thissigning doesn't looks strange.
Also, Partizan offcially announced that Pennaroya is their new coach. From his work at Baskonia and Barcelona I don't have good opinion about him. What do you think about Partizan choice.

The atmosphere Fenerbahçe fans created today was really amazing even though their football team had an important match on the same day. It is making me quite happy to see that the importance given to basketball in Turkey is increasing.

Baldwin really won the game for us by getting that smart foul to free throw and a critical block of him in the final moments. It was a quite tough game surely. We couldn't defend especially Brizuela well and he punished us with 17 points in the last 2 quarters.

I like Pesic because he is Serbian and was a good coach overall his career but now i think he is just too old and i dont think he can turn this season around for Bayern Munich,even with some good players i think his methods arent good enough at this level currently. On the other hand Partizan got a new coach but im not happy with that coach much. Only thing im happy currently is with Cameron Payne that is an amazing player and him coming from nba will be a huge boost for this squad but i doubt we will be able to reach the play in

Pesic is only a short term solution for them cause his signing is only until the end of the season. Also, not only does his son work at Bayern, he also has history there since he coached the team in the middle of the 2010s when they got their first national title.
Well, at least for the first game there was no "new coach impact" yet since they lost fairly convincing again Hapoel. They need to switch gears quick if they want to salvage their EL seaon.

In a very evenly matched game, Fenerbahçe defeated Barcelona 72-71.
Barcelona had possession in the last 10 seconds, but Punter, Barcelona's most effective player in this game, failed to make good use of the game-winning shot. Or rather, Fenerbahçe played good defense.
For Fenerbahçe, Tucker and Tarik scored well at critical moments, along with Melli and Hall.
I can say we've started a new run. This 72-71 victory was very good for us.

I was really disappointed with the loss Anadolu Efes got against ASVEL yesterday. This was one of the best opportunities to get a win. ASVEL are literally a team that score less and concede more than them in general.

The match got to OT 2 times and Anadolu Efes lost by 4 points... Beaubois found a chance to bring the win to his team before the 2nd OT actually but missed big chances.



They just had more turnovers and I couldn't believe how they didn't manage to prevent ASVEL from using the paint in the damn same way thousand times.

Final period was incredibly exciting. Fenerbahce is doing great imo. Eight wins in the last nine games. And they had a very hard and tight match schedule. And it is good to see the players are mentally at a very high level. Their defense level on the final possession was excellent. If Bacot and Boston played a little bit better, they would probably have secured a more comfortable win.

I really like Baldwin, Hall and Melli in Fenerbahçe. They show the championship team character from last year. Barcelona, alongside Panathinaikos, is Fenerbahçe's most significant rival this season. Considering Fenerbahçe Beko's busy schedule over the last fortnight, this was a fantastic victory. It was no easy feat, holding a team that scored 134 points in the previous game, albeit with two overtimes, to just 71 points. What made that victory even sweeter was stopping Punter, who scored 43 points in that game, with Hall on the final play and then Baldwin blocking the shot. I wasn't expect Fener to get this much better after the bad start to season. Seems like they are still a big contender.

It would have been one thing if they had lost to a team with aspirations, but losing to Asvel, a team whose reasons for being in the Euroleague are unclear, is bad. Laso is a good coach. In every sense, LDLC ASVEL is the weakest team in the league. I thought this would be a game where Efes could make a leap but it turned into a very poor performance. In my opinion Efes’s season was already over the moment they sacked Luca Banchi. Why would you fire a coach who knows the team and who built and stabilized it....

Today's most anticipated match will be Monaco vs. Real Madrid, but it's surprising that betting sites are offering such low odds for a Monaco win. I think Monaco has a slight advantage, but not this much. Monaco has had 2 losses and 1 win in their last 3 Euroleague games. Real Madrid is the more in-form team. If I were to bet today, I would bet on a Real Madrid win. A Real Madrid victory wouldn't be a surprise.

I don't understand the gap in odds either. 1.51 odds for Monaco while it's 2.56 for Real Madrid.



These 2 teams have the same number of wins now. Their head-to-head games are also telling us that Real Madrid are superior.

I must admit one thing here. Monaco are much more productive as for scoring. This makes Monaco the team with the highest score difference in the Euroleague. But I'd still like to give Real Madrid a chance by taking the risk.

Getting trashed at home in such way, it looks that players has no shame. It's not even excuse that they were playing against hottest team in league Maccabi because same things happened last week in Kaunas. What a debut for Pennaroya...

Maccabi is quietly climbing to the top. They've hit a five-game winning streak and are currently in great form. Yesterday, they beat Partizan by 25 points, 87-112, on the road. While Hapoel maintains its top spot, Maccabi is rising from the bottom. If they continue this form, they will make the playoffs. We might see two Israeli teams in the playoffs.

Olympiacos also beat Bologna 94-97 on the road. Bologna put in a great performance in the last quarter, but they couldn't close the gap that opened up in the second and third quarters.

Monaco also beat Real Madrid. I thought Real would win, but Monaco won 100-95.

Hard to determine the worse team in the league since many teams are actually "fighting" for this, haha. The way Bayern plays at the moment they are definitely also in the conversation, just like Anadolu Efes. Despite having a plenty of money to their disposal these teams seem to not get anything good together this season. This of course also counts for Partizan, all this money and good players but nothing comes from it.

That's right, Partizan could be the worst team right now. What a shame that the fans have to endure this.

Asvel was actually losing the game at one point, I thought it could be over for the Efes, they were almost getting the win but they screwed up big time. They couldn't defend one mediocre player, Vautier, who has his career game for sure. I really wonder if he can play this good ever again. Poirier had just come back from injury, he plays with great passion which I appreciate very much but he got too tired. Laso was not on his best. Vautier just destroyed the paint, he was unstoppable. We can actually be sure that Efes's season is finished. I don't see any possibility that they can make it to play-ins. They almost won the Dubai game and Asvel game, they might have had a chance if they won these games but now it's probably over. One of the biggest budgets of the league.
