Guy few posts above said that Asvel is worst team in league. Now I'm not sure about it. Even if they're not last, Partizan now is playing worst basketball in Euroleague. Getting trashed at home in such way, it looks that players has no shame. It's not even excuse that they were playing against hottest team in league Maccabi because same things happened last week in Kaunas. What a debut for Pennaroya...

ASVEL might not actually be the worst team really. I can agree with that. They have athletic players who can give serious trouble to teams with problematic defenses. Just like they did against Anadolu Efes a few days ago.

Partizan could really be the worst indeed.    That loss against Maccabi was insane. The gap was even 36 points at some point. Everything started with that 14-0 series in Q2. Partizan were never able to come back from it after.

Hard to determine the worse team in the league since many teams are actually "fighting" for this, haha. The way Bayern plays at the moment they are definitely also in the conversation, just like Anadolu Efes. Despite having a plenty of money to their disposal these teams seem to not get anything good together this season. This of course also counts for Partizan, all this money and good players but nothing comes from it.

I really don't understand how a wealthy club like Bayern Munich can't build a very good team for the Euroleague. I don't feel the same way about Partizan, but I find it illogical that Bayern, a club that has made a name for itself in football, invests so little in basketball. Even if they lose money in basketball, they can still build a good team. Real Madrid and Barcelona are clubs that have made a name for themselves in both football and basketball.

Another team is Milan. Milan competes with a weak team every year.

A really tough matchup is waiting for Fenerbahçe a week later. They are going to play away against Baskonia. One can say "What's up with that? Fenerbahçe are much better this season.".

I thought that Bayern budget isn't big, but actually it's 48.5 million, with 18 million allocated for players salaries. I think it's enough to collect competetive team. Real (and Barca in past) have lot of money which comes from football. But they don't earn much revenue and it's not sustainable model which leads to debts
Don't agree about Milan. In recent seasons they had good roster on paper, but coach Messina had to be sacked long time ago.

Yeah, some teams are fighting really hard to be new Alba . We'll see how changes of managers in these teams will change situation

You have a point there man.    There are like 6 teams which have 6 or less wins in the Euroleague so far. Maccabi was also among them earlier but they are rising with an amazing streak of 5 games.

I also don't get how Bayern Munich can't build a good roster with all that money. Anadolu Efes can also build a better team than this. But they don't have a good sporting director I'm afraid. The fans want İsmail Şenol to be sent away immediately.

It's highly likely that İsmail Şenol really wanted Saben Lee and orchestrated his transfer. If he can contribute to the team in Shane Larkin's absence, he could rise again. He didn't perform well at Olympiacos, but perhaps he can be useful at Anadolu Efes. Right now, Efes is really feeling Larkin's absence. If Larkin hadn't been injured, Saben Lee wouldn't have been signed.

I agree. This signing shouldn7t change much for them. Just had a quick look at his stats in the Euroleague this season and they are not worth mentioning tbh. I mean 3.4 points and limited playing time of just over 11 minutes per game is not impressive. His supporting stats for rebounds and assists are also very low. Efes needs some real help if they want to salvage this season, not some bench warmer that doesn't really have anything to add.
I mean, maybe if he gets more minutes and a new team this will give him a boost, yet he will have to prove that signing him isn't just another sad part of this season.

Yes, he has an average of 11.4 minutes of play time in the Euroleague this season. But even while he was playing longer last season he didn't still impress anyone that much. İsmail Şenol had better go back to his journalist career. He isn't the man for the job.

Partizan looked positivesigns against Valencia, they played 3 solid quarters, but what happened in 4th quarter? They were completely locked down with just 10 points. After today's Asvel win now only Bayern is below Partizan.
Zalgiris take unexpected away win against Euroleague leaders Hapoel, Barca didn't even gave fight for Monaco. This game was marked with Pascuali ejection.

Not saying that he is good or bad signing, just want to say that stats at Olympiacos might be misleading. In recent seasons Olympiacos have very deep roster, something like 20 players. And often good players don't get much time to play there. Sometimes I don't understand why Oly signed some of their players.
Though, I perfectly understand your thoughts about Lee - he haven't proved that he is Euroleague level player.

Zalgiris dealt a major blow to Hapoel in the third quarter, turning the game in their favor that quarter. They didn't become complacent in the final quarter either, and defeated Hapoel 80-93 away from home.

I think it was a surprising result, though not a huge one.

Valencia also defeated Partizan 86-73 and took the lead in the Euroleague. Valencia is playing a very different kind of basketball this year. They had a bad start to the Euroleague but have found their form very well over time.

Barcelona lost again. Their 74-90 home defeat against Monaco surprised me. They lost the Fenerbahçe game on the last possession, but today they lost by 16 points.

Xavi Pascual reacted strongly to a foul called on Mike James's shot and was ejected from the game in the third quarter. Perhaps that moment was the turning point of the match. Barcelona was having a bad day, but there was no foul on Mike James in that play. He took his shot comfortably. His opponent reached out his hand, but I didn't see any contact. I think the female referee called the foul. Pascual protested vehemently and was ejected. Sometimes things like that happen in basketball. Monaco won the game 74-90 away from home.

20-25min is actually a lot, not only for the age but also in the Euroleague. I just checked and only 34 players (out of a total of 218) average more than 25 minutes per game, and less than a 100 average more than 20 minutes ( including home, slightly). So yeah, 20-25 min should not be possible for De Colo. 20 points a big MAYBE, since that's what he averages right now. But these minutes are in a far worse team and should shrink if he came to Fenerbahce.

I don't see the signing making sense, for the age of him and in general.

I agree. Regardless of his age, Nando de Colo is still a top class player. He would be a huge boost for Fenerbahçe and could lead them to the title. There is a huge battle in the top 5 right now. My only concern is the transfer rules. can he actually play in the EuroLeague this season if he joins now or not.

Seems that they're trying to something similar like last season when they signed Mccolum, who was significant addition. Wilbekin is injured, Zagars is almost always injured too. Really some surprises today. Crvena Zvezda destroyed Efes in Turkey and i didnt expect this at all,this was the first win ever against Efes in Turkey so another shock came. Oly just destroying Panathanikos in euroleague with 10 straight wins and its a big derby match so that is insane honestly.

Ah my team finally hitted rock bottom,we are officially last now and the season is already over for Partizan,whats happening with my team is shocking.

In a very competitive match, we defeated Baskonia away by 15 points, 93-108. The most memorable moment of the game was THT being ejected from the game within two minutes due to technical and unsportsmanlike fouls.

I believe referee Mehdi Difallah made biased decisions against Fenerbahçe. When THT scored a basket, he was fouled, and instead of calling a basket-and-foul, he called a technical foul on THT. I hope Difallah doesn't officiate our games again. With this victory, Fenerbahçe moved up to third place.

Damn, that's some rough statistics to be honest. Seems like many things are wrong with this team. I mean if you can't hit a 3 then maybe you should try to score another way, right? Seems like the change of the coach only helper for like on and a half games, after that it was back to their old habits and losing mentality. Better to write of this season and focus to get better in the next one. This one really seems hard to salvage now.
