Well the Pool was allowing mining and showing balances growing according to shares submitted but now all you get is

[2013-12-19 10:18:02] pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Well for me GUI Miner is just showing 'connecting... ' so not too sure, submitted a ticket but also mentioned in it no hurry as I have not tested much with it.

It is with a heavy heart I see 50BTC back, on one side I am happy they are back up, on the other side, the mining I did (although not too much) prior and during the re-write (along with others I answered in PMs on setting up the sharing of pools) appears to have been reset....

In summary I am happy to see the pool back and hope to see it grow once more, I just wish they would do something for all those who supported them during this phase as after 3-4 and more weeks of no news it was hard to keep positive about it. I did often check the site and lost count of how many times I read the news they posted on the exploit/hack so yeh, all the best to them, I am willing to push onwards with them and have them as one of the pools I use.

They don't even have the date set correctly. If you look at the posted date for the news update, it says 19.12.14 08:12:22, so this is future news. I need to fix my time machine and kill Brian.....

Kill Brian??? maybe this is an 'in-joke'? I think I missed the punch line....

Exactly... That's what I was thinking.

Just a reminder since they've come back only offering PPS so far:  If they haven't paid back user funds because they can't, that also means they don't have an adequate buffer to actually prevent the pool from going bankrupt on PPS.

Yup. I remember a time when notroll.in had no money left and on every block found everyone had to race to the payout button.

You know people... there are other pools you can use, lol.  This really is insanity to go back to 50BTC after all of the shenanigans.  Btw, wouldn't this have been the perfect time for them to change their name to 25BTC?

If they don't get my already earned BTC back, im not going to mine there anymore. And i think i'm not the only one who is thinking this.

What would happen next time? Will be there a hacker after 2 months stable working now? Are all Users funds lost once again?

Sorry without the earned funds there will be no way to earn my trust again....

What is curious, after the hacks skype showed the 50 BTC support as an Russian client, since 2-3 days its showing as an Swiss client..

A small Tip is welcome everytime Wink

+1

The only way is to use a pool fee to to pay old bills. Maybe then it makes sence to mine there...

Well having more pools is always good.   New users should just be aware that the pool claims they were hacked 2 months ago and "lost" funds from all their user base (unknown amount).
