Mining since May 2011.

Since they are not making any blocks right now, all the old bitcoins that were mined before, are currently being payed to current miners on their pool. Once those funds run out, I'm guessing they will implement PPLNS so they will be able to keep paying miners. All your old bitcoins are being payed out to current miners and they have no plans on back pays. Maybe once they become profitable (at some point they will have to raise the fees) then they might pay back. A year from now? Who knows. This is my opinion since the old wallets are currently being payed to current miners (check the block chain) I mine there now and traced back my payment to the old wallet on their account from October.

They should just come out and say this. No point in lashing out to people that made their pool to begin with.
Correct, they solved ZERO blocks last week. (http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2013/12/december-29th-2013-weekly-pool-and.html) So with such low total pool hash rate and current difficulty (1.18G) the chances of actually solving a block are pretty slim. With a PPS payout strategy they are just paying people out of a fund, not actually making any new BTC by solving blocks. People should not mine here until they resolve the issues with paying prior balances.

What they should have done was pay back to some of their biggest hashers from the old wallet to establish some trust and to get some blocks solved otherwise this pool will go under if people keep boycotting them. That's what they get for bad management. Looks like I'm going back to btcguild as there won't be any more old funds to keep this pool a float.

They should payback all old people and proof funds (which they already calculated) instead of threaten some people here.
They should talk to their "customers" instead of ignoring support tickets or this site here.

There are so many points which they can make better and earn trust, but with their behavior of an 2 year old child there is no way.

A small Tip is welcome everytime Wink

Hey all I was contacted by a member who wishes to remain anonymous and my issue with the Funds owed to the company i reviewed the miner for has been settled.

they made a payment for me

so that i can get my funds back from the courts, now i am waiting for notice that all charges against me have been dropped and when i can pick up my money that i paid for bail.

Now i just have to try and get up the $380.00 that i owe my landlord in late fees and eviction court costs and he will let me move back in

no, somone msg'd me outside of Bitcoin talk and wanted to know if they could help me out with my situation and asked if they could donate towards the cost that i owed the miner company and asked for the total amount that i owed and i sent the info thinking that they may at most send a btc or less to help out, well they paid the Full amount that was owed to the company and they asked to be kept Anonymous but i give you my solem word that it was not 50btc.com that messaged me or payed that amount.

They did tell me to " Make sure 50btc.com still pays for their sh*t that they are trying to pull tho the lying sacks of Sh*t "

Don't have time to read all 68 pages here. Can someone give me the executive summary of WTF is going on at 50BTC? Ever since they mentioned a denial of service attack and seeing strange balances I have been unable to get any info on my account. There seems to be a new web page but my account shows that my workers are inactive but my miner is busy hashing. What's going on? I have zero balance showing now at 50BTC and it says that I have no wallet?? Where is my mining credits going to??
Do I need to get into a new pool? No one is responding to help tickets.

Long story short is they ran off with everyones BTC and now they are solving NO BLOCKS and only paying the new miner and calling the people they owe Blackmailers and Scammers and liers

So your best bet is to mine somewhere else and AVOID 50btc.com AT ALL COSTS

Thats nice to hear Smiley

I won't give up against the people of 50 BTC.
My Yesterday announced Timeframe of getting in touch with me and talking to me like adult persons is now over.

This means: Today i will go to the police and let them investigate against the 50 BTC team..

Im really fed up with this situation and their behavior aainst some people. Now they make out of a big scam a big fraud with paying new bills but not paying the old one.

Edit: because of my studying i need my Coins. I have to pay the college bills etc. pp. but they didn't informed me so i have to take now legal actions because i need my money which i really own (and they also confirmed)

I'm horrified that given recent events people are still mining on this pool.

The security incidents and failure to resolve them in a reasonable timeframe >1 month show that this pool cannot compete with the other large pools (and perhaps better small pools).

Going almost two months without any update to users was also unacceptable and I question the whole "we're working too hard to fix it, so we can't take 5-10 minutes to type a response in our own pool thread on BCT" thing.

To throw fuel on the fire, their first response in almost two months with the 50btc account was a rebuttal against one specific users comment/accusation, when in reality they should've just ignored that user and updated everybody else on what was happening. Perhaps they actually hired BFL's esteemed rep to manage their public relations?

There are plenty of other pools to choose from. I suggest if you are still mining on this pool you re-evaluate your mining situation. You are essentially telling your miners to piss against the wind and then complaining when your legs get wet (ie. you don't get payouts).
