If you able to manage working and gambling at workplace altogether then good for you  even though that doesn't mean it is that so simple for others to manage it that way too. There are people that can quickly get carried away that they use extra work time to continue in their gambling at a supposed time when break should be over, and because not everyone has the ability to manage it all together in good thats why organisations frown against gambling at workplace and abhor workers who would want to mix work with gambling because it will most likely affect productiveness of the worker no matter how they may try to be in control of how they gamble.
Fun is necessary at workplace but not with through gambling there's high possibility of a loophole for low productivity no matter what.

Not only gambling but also other activities that can distract an employee in attending to his work.  Aside from that, the company sees it unfair to see their employee using their working time for gambling thus, if the employee is caught, the company will impose a penalty or punishment to the guilty employee.

Aside from that, some employee are unable to control their emotion and when they lose their gambling activity, their performance in their work is affected resulting in getting agitated easily or making errors and mistakes with their work.  The efficiency of these employees becomes lower thus, the company is losing as a result.

If we value our jobs then better to remove all distractions and perform at optimum so that the company will feel that they are right in employing us and probably will think of giving us a raise.

Gambling probably ruins the focus, specifically when we get losses. How we can work properly if we have a bad mood after losing some money in gambling. Basically we must really be able to divide our time and also divide our focus, always put things in their place, one example is if you leave from home to work then there are no other activities that you should do except focus on the job. Let alone gambling, you are negligent in your work only your boss will definitely scold you for not being serious at work, as we know how the general public views gambling, it is very negative, and maybe with that alone they can judge the true character of the person who gambles.

It's true that gambling while working is not recommended. If you work, just work, don't do anything else outside of work. Everything has its time, there is time for work, study, play and even gambling. For me personally, I set aside weekend time to gamble and that's only for a few hours, not for long, because the game I play is a slot type and there's no point in lingering on it.

I gotta say gambling at work is probably not the best idea.  Your boss is paying you to work, not bet on games online and  that being said, everyone deserves a little break now and then.  If you've been grinding I don't see an issue with quickly checking a score or placing a small wager when youve got some downtime.

I think it depends on what our job is and how much work we have. If we have finished all the work and there is nothing left to do, maybe gambling is not a bad choice. I think when we have worked together with office friends for a long time, they will not report to their superiors if we gamble. However, what makes me not like gambling while working is because usually I don't enjoy the game less and am more in a rush to play, if conditions like that happen I usually just gamble to spend money. Such scenario shouldn't happen, because when you're in a profession it should be done with passion. Just for mere happiness getting into gambling will surely end up with negative things. Just placing a sports bet during the office hour is different, but spending time wagering on casino games during the office hours should be avoided. When we're in the office, even if it is free time, our mind shouldn't think of gambling. True and im just like this on which if there are really that moments which that gambling interest and leisure that will make us really be able to play while we are at work on which even myself is really that guilty with this on which there are vacant times at work on which i do make out some $10 deposit or less and made out some rolls in slots or making some bets on roulette or crash or dice
