I have to say that those who are gambling at work are people who cant manage their time well. Working time should be used wisely, to focus on the work only but I wont deny that I have done it before because I was so bored with what I do in my office. I realize that it is a mistake and I do not do it again till now to avoid something bad with my career. Better to manage our gambling time, gamble when we have free time only, time when we have nothing to do at all. Time is priceless especially when it comes with our family, job, or relationship.

You can only gamble in your workplace if you have the time to do so, if you work where task is demanding, then you won't even have the spare time to for any other activities during work hours. Although it's morally not proper to use work time for gambling, because you can be so concentrated on the game and neglect your duty.

Yeah we can actually multi task and do gamble during working hours, but it is proven that doing things outside your work will cause so much distraction although you have time to gamble. I mean generally it is not advisable to gamble while at work, some might say that they can do it during their break but I can literally say that even during breaktime it is considered to be on your working hours thus separating your mind from the tasks you have.

It's better to gamble on our free time, so we can relax better and enjoy the maximum fun of gambling. Besides if your boss catches you gambling during work hours, it could lead to warning, suspension or even sack, so if your work allows you to seat all day and it makes you to be bored, then you can gamble discreetly, but at your own risk.

Yeah I agree, at the end of the day gambling is always there to entertain us. I don't wanna be hypocrite but I do it sometimes but only on sports betting, I watch games where I bet but not necessarily putting bets while on duty.

Basically it is very dangerous if someone already thinks or assumes that gambling becomes a necessity, such ideas should really be avoided, after all this is gambling which is more famous for its negative impacts than the positives that we can hardly get. If all that goes well or that means it is still in a safe situation even though you are doing work and gambling at the same time but on the other hand there are still consequences that should be worried about, it is your main job which of course as I said earlier that it is the income that finances your life, so from this alone they should be able to consider which is more important and which is not necessary, after all there is still plenty of time for you to gamble right? You can still engage in gambling when all your work is finished, or that means when you go home and you can gamble at home in a relaxed and calm situation. If you persist in gambling at work then obviously the risk is that you might lose your job if your boss finds out about the activity.

Indeed, there can be a lot of "reasons" for justifying their behavior, gambling or drinking alcohol or taking drugs at work, but we all know, you just shouldn't do those things at work, that's all. You are paid for doing something and you should do what you are paid for. Those are the reasons i am not playing while working. In fact i rather not play if i haven't mentally prepared for it. For the losses and wins. Because those are very distracting and i have already hard time focusing on things i should prioritize in my life. My life is one constant look for distraction, so i need less of it, not more. Especially when it's so rewarding it's hard for me to think anythnig else.

So, while working, i often keep noise cancelling headphones. Block my changes to login to any social media. My friends know i can't be disturbed while on the flow of work, because i get so much done when i am not disturbed and on the "flow". But all it takes is one distraction and it can take hours to get back into it. And even if i would bet on the lunch, i would probably wonder how that match is going that i bet on, or what my next steps are going to be for the money i lost or won.

Also, a self-discipline in order to follow those time management you’ve created and also to avoid future difficulty regarding to our real work and office life. I've tried several times but I would say it's just a casual gamble. Before I started working from home I do have a huge circle of friends in our company who shared the same passion for playing MOBA games. Every lunch time we put bets playing with each other. I don't dwell to much when losing since I find it fun and the bet is not something that is significant. Even if you have any access to gambling sites, and if you are responsible, you will not do that thing especially since it is prohibited and included in the rules and regulations of the company. It all depends on the amount of value you bring to the company.

So, for example, if you make the company millions of dollars for your direct job, then you will be paid a lot of money for it.

All these crucial jobs are not free because behind it is a significant salaries to be earned by an individual and the job also comes with a whole lot of stressing actions which is expected of the employer in question to do his job, secure and satisfied whatever needs that arises before paving path to settle for other priorities drawn out of his schedule for the days and that also include gambling.
