When we talk about work, it usually means we're not particularly wealthy, and imagine what happens when we gamble money we can't afford to lose, especially when we're not earning much.

I did this before (I play even at work) usually when break time or when there's no so much work to attend to. Our boss is also not so strict as long as you can do your job well. I don't have issue actually about gambling being a hindrance to focus on my job, but more on the thought of losing my money and that I should not play the particular game.

But now, I rarely do this because my budget for gambling is limited and I prefer to just play at home. This way, i can enjoy more my leisure time and can play longer if I want to.

If you only gamble during your interval break time at work there isn't any issues, as this is free time you can use to eat, talk to your friends or family, schedule your appointments and to entertain yourself. And actually, it can be a good thing to gamble on this moment, because it can be useful as a stress reliever from the overload of the work. Then, after you gamble, you come back to work more relaxed and recharged for the next hours of dedication you have to put on it, increasing your final productivity, performance, while not damaging your mental health due to cumulative stress and anxiety.

If an employee can really manage their time like this and stay focused on his work no matter what happens or the outcome of his gambling, then this might not be a problem. However, whatever our hobbies, we still have to be professional and responsible with our main duties, especially during working hours. Don't let something else distract us from working. And whatever we are going through, whether it's gambling or family or something else, we should try as much as possible not to affect our atmosphere and performance as workers. But unfortunately, this is not easy enough and not everyone can be that good at time and management management. because sometimes, when we are fixated on gambling, we become unfocused. Or we become in a bad mood because we lose a lot while gambling in the free time.

Agree with you that everything depends on how person manages time and can find the right time to gamble even during working hours, being professional at work is priority and an attitude of responsibility that every employee must always have so that what they do does not interfere with work.
As I have said before if there is free time such as break time then we can gamble in several sessions during the break, but when we return to work we must have professional attitude where we leave gambling whatever the results we get, because we gamble for the sake of it fill free time and eliminate boredom from the work we do.
It just that for those who cannot manage their time and always gamble for relatively long time, it is not recommended to try gambling at work because it will only cause problems.

The point is that we are all here reminding each other to always be responsible gamblers and to make the best use of gambling, don't let gambling affect other things that are priorities such as work and family integrity.
