Yes, that's true because it can make us lose the job that already provides us income. People often ignore the rules in their workplace so that they still do other things that have nothing to do with their work. Perhaps their superiors have never caught them, so they are still doing this. But if their boss finds out they are still doing this, maybe their boss will immediately fire them, which is a loss for them because they can no longer earn income. Most employers do not even mention gambling when first interview or hire a person to work for them, at most they mention something about the use of Smartphonesnin the working area, instead. Many people at office jobs scroll through social media for hours and they still get paid, no issues.

To me personally gamblers can't hide their Identity even though they would try to hide themselves after some while it would show in them because gambler's always has spirits that control's them, the best is to stop gambling because they wouldn't know when they could start manifesting their characters. There's a right time for everything on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be needing to have that kind of mindset on which you shouldnt really be mixing up your work time
from your leisure time because once you do then you would really be finding out yourself into some potential problems on which this isnt something that should really be done in the first place.
If you are that someone whose really that going after for fun then you could always have some fun after work. Dont put up your work at risk just because you do have that gambling urge into those moments or times.
