I don't know if you already did something like this but maybe you should also make this refund campaign public on your socials and the homepage.

For sure, many former and damaged customers will miss Betnomi's current Bitcointalk refund topic and it would be nice to link the refund campaign on all former channels still owned by Betnomi.
Even as a Bitcointalk member, I've only noticed your refund topic because AHOYBRAUSE shared a link in our local board.

Extending the refund deadline and getting out the word about your refund on all channels and accounts still owned by Betnomi would be a fair move in my opinion to refund as many customers as possible.  Smiley

Our initial cut-off date for refund requests was 30 days.

However, based on community feedback, we have decided to extend it for a few more days until January 1st.
After this date, we will no longer process or respond to emails related to the refund request.
This has been a challenging process, but fortunately, we worked it out successfully.
That's nice to hear even if it's just going to be one day away from the actual deadline you've set. Because everyone has cared for those users that are eligible for the refund.

This is already enough that there will be no more extensions if it's already been decided.

Payments were scheduled to be made in batches, but to avoid confusion and other related issues, we have decided to process everything in one go.

Alright, this is a guarantee that everyone who probably have been waiting for their turn will have to wait a little bit to be taken care for one just single go.

That would be the right thing to do and the proper thing to do, though, there is always s possibility those who belonged to the previous Betnomi team and when rogue were also who had the credentials to access the other precious official media of communication of the casino. Others may argue that after suffering the exit scam, they do not have enough bankroll left to refund all their gamblers/users, so decided to refund those within the community which they considered to be most important for their future operations, here in the forum.
Though, that is just speculation, but it is not outside the realm of possibility after suffering such a significant blow to their casino.
Regardless of what the future holds or what their plans are, I wish for as many people as possible to recover whatever they had deposited with this casino before all went south.

Even users who had money in their casino but do not frequently participate here in the gambling section would miss the chance to realize what happened to their money and the fact they still have got a chance to get it back.

Even users who had money in their casino but do not frequently participate here in the gambling section would miss the chance to realize what happened to their money and the fact they still have got a chance to get it back.

This is the reason why it is good to always be active and regular to constantly checking on your investment, assets or funds even platforms where you belong because there are always updates and information that could be of help to you if one is in such a situation of this nature.

As you have said, many people would likely miss out this opportunity even some that are here who should be privileged of this information and are not active here would also miss it because of being inactive. Only those active here that have access to this information would act upon it though.

I believe a wide range of communication such as using their social media handles would be better to reach out to their members who are not present here because not much people who are gamblers are present here so it would be nice doing such to reach to the wider community. Let the the refund process be a fair one to all and on first come first serve basis for transparency and honesty.

You say that after 1st january you won't be responding to emails anymore. I'm a bit confused as I wrote mail for a refund but did not get any confirmation that it will be processed or even got received. I wouldn't get my balance forfeit because the amount wasn't smalll and on other hand I don't want to make duplicate request to not get omitted as a spam.

Hold a second, so if I happen to be offline for about a month or six months for personal reasons best known to me, and before my blackout I have an active pending funds with your service, and here there is a refund chance for me to get back my money, but because I was unable to meet up with the news on time, I can no longer have a claim to the funds, is that what this means?
 
If there is a plan for refunding and paying off all pending withdrawals and deposits, I don't think there should ever be a limit to when the person can come and claim their funds. Many people might have already deleted everything that has to do with the casino as a result of their disappointment, but when they realise there is a chance of getting it back, then I think the window should be left open at least for a year.
 
If the person can prove ownership and show they are the real owner, then they should be given a refund. The refund funds should be kept aside for the same purpose. I believe you already have the data on the overall amount of money you need.

The chance that any refund at all is gonna happen, I would rate at 0,1%.

Betwrong has always been an optimist, that's just how he is. He is one of the few who was optimistic about everything, to be honest, I thought we would never see the Betnomy team active here again, but they are back.

When they have already returned, I think the chances of a refund are slightly higher than 0.1%. What worries me is how fair and honest it will be, and whether all of you with a larger bankroll will be honored.

Our initial cut-off date for refund requests was 30 days.

However, based on community feedback, we have decided to extend it for a few more days until January 1st.
After this date, we will no longer process or respond to emails related to the refund request.
This has been a challenging process, but fortunately, we worked it out successfully.

Payments were scheduled to be made in batches, but to avoid confusion and other related issues, we have decided to process everything in one go.

Hold a second, so if I happen to be offline for about a month or six months for personal reasons best known to me, and before my blackout I have an active pending funds with your service, and here there is a refund chance for me to get back my money, but because I was unable to meet up with the news on time, I can no longer have a claim to the funds, is that what this means?
 
If there is a plan for refunding and paying off all pending withdrawals and deposits, I don't think there should ever be a limit to when the person can come and claim their funds. Many people might have already deleted everything that has to do with the casino as a result of their disappointment, but when they realise there is a chance of getting it back, then I think the window should be left open at least for a year.
 
If the person can prove ownership and show they are the real owner, then they should be given a refund. The refund funds should be kept aside for the same purpose. I believe you already have the data on the overall amount of money you need.
Betnomi could make the offer open indefinitely and as long as a user could prove they had funds on the platform at the time of the site going offline, process the refund. The issue is they just leave themselves open for more false claims and it's probably something they don't want to deal with forever. Something they would like to move on from.

In this day and age, not many people go dark for many months at a time. Some live in areas that have blackouts, some might take a little time to themselves for mental health, or 1 of many other reasons but almost never offline for 6 months or whatnot. Not saying it doesn't or couldn't happen, just that it's not likely. IMO they gave a decent amount of time.

But two and a half months have been passed since they created this thread. Now they are working to launch their new project instead of making the refund. At this time being, we are supposed to already see some refunds being carried out... I guess this plan about refunding people's money was not as serious was it appeared to be initially.  Sad
What are the chances they will use the profits of their new project to collect the funds to distribute to those who were affected by the fiasco of Betnomi?
I know that at this time it may sound like an insane amount of coping, but to me it does not make sense they would come back here and talk about refunds before disappearing again. Unless they were trying to earn time for them to work on their next project without being called out for the situation with the first casino.

You forgot to say that he appeared at some point and put on his distrust list all those members who gave him negative feedback, a naive attempt to remove the red marks on the profile. I'm sure this was all a manoeuvre to remove red flags from the Betnomi name because Sorsis is directly connected with him.
Now I am interested in whether he will come up with a new project here on the forum.

btw. Does anyone believe his story that the partner did the damage, and left with the servers and data...

Well, I just checked and of course I also didn't receive any refund yet, as expected.
Slowly I also get doubts this will ever happen but since it is only a small amount I am waiting for it's nothing that I expected to get anyway. From the beginning I already wrote off this money and only got some small hope once they reappeared. I really wondered what this was supposed to be.

All we can do now is warn other people from joining their newest project. Once a scammer, always a scammer.
