Sometimes, Waiting for the Dip makes it looks like you wasting time to start your investment.

So instead of waiting for the Dip, it beat to just take advantage of it. Use the DCA for accumulation and then when the Dip comes just engage in lumpsum when you have much discretionary income with you. Don’t wait for the Dip, because it not good to delay investing in Bitcoin.

From your first statement, you are making Waiting for Dips sound good somehow. Waiting for Dips before buying does not look like we are wasting time, instead, it is already wasting of time, or it's a total waste of time and delays you from starting your investment. Once an investor is able to know what his discretionary income is, he should start immediately.

From your second sentence too, it now seems like when you said we can just take advantage of it, that you are referring to the Dip because the statement follows your Dip talk immediately. As investor, out focus should be on continually buying Bitcoin using the DCA strategy. Putting hopes on Dips are like waiting for the unexpected, which may not happen. If you have a Discretionary income, and as you later mentioned, we can always buy gradually.

yess there is no rule that an investor has to set aside money for an emergency fund before investing, an investor can set aside money if he wants to if his cash flow management is good. But those who are not able to set aside such money can still think about an emergency fund after starting investing because there is no mandatory requirement to set aside money for an emergency fund in advance for investing.
It is very important to understand why a backup fund is important for everyone when investing in Bitcoin. Because if someone invests his entire discretionary income in Bitcoin every month/week. But he does not have any savings to meet emergency expenses. If there is a sudden medical or family expense, he may have to sell Bitcoin. Then if the market price is low, he may be forced to sell at a loss. And this is why a backup fund is so important. On the other hand, if he has sufficient emergency funds and reserves, he can avoid that pressure and follow his long-term investment plan.

It’s quite easy to invest in bitcoin and be successful. Figure out your discretionary, using the DCA invest regularly consistently and as aggressively as possible. Be patient and disciplined.
I agree that waiting for the price to drop could mean missing out on opportunities. However, I disagree with the decision to buy as aggressively as possible from there. Because buying regularly and allocating more are not the same thing. One person can invest a large part of their financial capacity by buying small amounts every week. Another may buy more than that and have enough cash security. So whether they buy regularly or how much they buy, it is not enough to understand whether their allocation is appropriate. Even after meeting all necessary expenses, not all of the money left is for Bitcoin. Because from there you also have to make provisions for safety savings and your personal discretionary expenses. Yes, if someone already has enough savings, they may have the opportunity to allocate more. The same advice can create pressure for someone who is building a new safety or emergency fund.

A guy can buy bitcoin aggressively and still handle their financial problems without pressuring themselves. It’s not something that everyone can do, since our source of income is not the same. Buying aggressively is when someone decides to buy which large amount instead of buying small small. Let assume that a guy is buying with $50 weekly, and decide to buy $500 or more weekly with the hope that the price will increase soon.

You will notice that people buy more aggressively when the price drops, because nobody wants to miss out the opportunity to buy more before the price goes up. While others have fail to buy more aggressively during the dip, not as if they don’t have the cash, but because of fear.

Back up funds is necessary and important to have for someone who is investing in Bitcoin because this is what that going to make you stay long in the market, it's gambling to put all your discretionary income in to accumulating Bitcoin without having some left for your emergency funds.

Emergency doesn't come known to people it always comes unexpectedly that's why it's an emergency so in such investors are supposed to have kept as they are accumulating Bitcoin incase they run into an emergency situation they see selling their Bitcoin as the only option they have.

I agree knowing about the functions of these funds is very necessary but that doesn't mean if someone has a big opportunity to be aggressive when there is Dip doesn't mean they should not seize the opportunity because they don't emergency funds or backup funds, discretionary is already meant for investment as an investor and going all in is not wrong as long as you can figure out something back ASAP. I believe everyone should know the length they can go in anything concerning their Bitcoin investment. Sometimes we need to bend rules especially if it is worth it.

You are right, regardless of holding for a long time or short period of time, DCA have proven to be the best way to invest with. DCA gives you that conveniency to invest with, and it also for both people who have huge discretionary income and small discretionary income.

Yes I can agree that to DCa for long time is great, but for a short period of time, man that will be so dumb as fuck. What exactly can the person even accumulate under a short period of time? The answer is that the person will not have much time to build a reasonable stash when they DCa for short time. DCa can't be worthwhile when done for short time because you will only be having a little stash. Bitcoin is a long time game not short time, and I don't even think that should even be up for debate.

DCa is used so that investors will be able to keep adding to their stash ongoingly regardless of whether price is high up or down. And the longer the time that person go on to accumulate, the more opportunities that the person is giving to himself to add more to their stash with their discretionary income.

See, if you reach a sufficient point according to the plan, you can definitely sell your Bitcoin, but if you have to take a suitable profit, then you must hold the Bitcoin investment for a long time. Every person has a plan. Without a plan, you can never move forward with Bitcoin investment in the future, so your plan must help your Bitcoin investment to reach success, and if you take a suitable profit according to the cycle, then you can definitely release your Bitcoin in time.
So you have to create this situation yourself. You hold your investment for a sufficient time and then sell it.

Having an emergency funds intact in our investment isn't what any investor is supposed to undermine as long as bitcoin investment is concern. However, you can barely see any successful bitcoin investor that made his way to the top without having its emergency funds on ground. As a matter of fact it should be mandatory if you ask me because problem is inevitable in life. So for we not to jeopardize our investment holdings when real problem comes, is for we to make provision for our emergency funds on ground so we wouldn't be forced to sort things out from our investment holdings.

Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?

I think that’s one of the biggest challenges with crypto the market can move very quickly, and nobody can reliably predict the exact top or bottom. Personally, I wouldn’t rush into buying or selling based only on what the market is doing today. I’d look at the specific coin, its fundamentals, the current trend, and how much risk I’m comfortable taking. And for me If I'm investing, I’d probably consider buying gradually rather than putting everything in at once, and I’d have a clear exit plan instead of trying to perfectly time the market

If you have an urgent need before you can raise money quickly, how will you meet it? Having the opportunity to buy more during a price drop and being able to meet the need even after that purchase are two different things. Again, you have to create an emergency fund from the money that is left after meeting your essential expenses. Therefore, it would not be right to assume that just because it is discretionary income, you are ready to give the entire amount to Bitcoin after seeing the price drop.

You may have bought Bitcoin with the entire amount of discretionary income you have now, thinking that you will get income at the end of the month. Then you could not go to work due to illness or a machine broke at work, which will require money to fix. Again, due to the closure, the income that was supposed to build cash savings may also be delayed. Then your problem is not only unexpected expenses, but also the plan to raise money quickly has become weak. If someone else uses the entire amount earmarked for investment, keeping separate cash security for their needs, that is a different situation.

*.The waiters who would prefer to hold their money and waits for bitcoin to reach one particular price before they can buy it, these are the ones who think the bitcoin market is their playground and it’s always gonna be sunshine and roses for them and then end up getting left behind when the price reverses and rises back.
You only get left behind in bitcoin investment when you don’t buy bitcoin. In the scenario you painted, such an investor can still buy the bitcoin even when the price reversed, knowing fully well that the price will go higher. Since the aim is for long term and the investor is doing DCA, they can start immediately without waiting further. Truth is that, it is wrong in the first place to wait for a dip as a long term investor. But if it happens that the mistake has already been made, you won’t kill yourself because of that singular mistake. Learn from the mistake and start investing from where you are seeing the price.

You are right, regardless of holding for a long time or short period of time, DCA have proven to be the best way to invest with. DCA gives you that conveniency to invest with, and it also for both people who have huge discretionary income and small discretionary income. I agree that DCA is a great way to stay consistent, especially when you’re investing with a smaller amount. But I don’t think waiting for dips is necessarily a waste of time. A dip can be a good opportunity to buy more at a better price, especially when you already have cash set aside for it. For me, the best approach is a balance. keep accumulating through DCA, while also keeping some funds available to take advantage of significant dips. That way, you’re not completely sitting on the sidelines, but you’re also not ignoring good buying opportunities when they come
