I just found Mydailybitcoin.

They are offering 1% everyday on your BTC. Registered an account and the page looks serious, but that doesn't gives you any guarantees  Cry

So my questions are, have anyone invested here? Do they pay? Scam?

If they are serious please use my link to register  Smiley Then this thread is investing top, If not then this is warning!! ;P

I would advice extreme caution with a website that offers such a rate of return without any explanations; the design looks good but it doesn't mean it is legit, it is pretty easy to get a nice design!

Pirate40 scheme defrauded investors :

I've investigated that site a bit:
1) Deposited 0.004 BTC - they're indexing the interest payments OK.
2) 5% Deposit release fee combined with auto-invest on funds arrival means you're down 5% as soon as you send any money to them. Only after 5 days you are breaking even.
3) Their address is a serviced office space in London, virtual offices are available from the office space provider.
4) They do display a phone number in the Contact Us section of their site, it's a London landline.
I'll try and update this thread with any info I may possibly get from those guys or upon successful withdrawal.

Yep, i tried 40 mBTC on this site, left it for 1 day, interest got paid, converted the investment back. Went the withdraw the money, got a withdrawal request rather than the previous withdrawal on the interest payment.
Its a scam, high promotion of an affiliate system, let me guess support staff that are never online and always leave us a msg and we will get back to you lols.

From a member of the MDC team:
Actually, we received many requests for a reply in this topic but really, MDC is not a gamble or a HYIP program. We do NOT consider our business to be one of these fields, so please do not ask us to reply here to topics like “MyDailyYoin is scam or not?” The question is basically and need proof. Do you have any proof or are you like those people who, because of a lack of information, believe that “bitcoin is scam too!”

Anyway, we will not have any activity in this topic. If you have any suggestions or comments, please visit our website. If you are interested in having a beneficial negotiation, please invite us to another fair topic.

This should be petty easy to resolve. If they're for real, I'm sure they will be willing to offer proof of solvency, and if not they will be unable to.

Of course nobody can make consistent gains of 1 or 2% day trading, and even if they could they would use their own coins, not yours.

Barely literate quote from operator doesn't help credibility much either.

It is a ponzi but if they actually stay instead of run off it might be sustainable for a very long time. 1% daily is pretty easy to manage. We shall see, though.

I just put 0.06BTC at MyDailyCoin and hope it's not a lost cause.  Something about the name didn't seem THAT legit, but it wasn't offering 144% of my investment (like Bitcoinhype or whatever that other site was) or 10% or more... I mean 1% should be maintainable, shouldn't it?  I've already lost over 50% of $800 in these alt-coins (Dogecoin, Infinitecoin, Devcoin, Lottocoin, etc.) over the course of several months... I gotta stop LOSING money!  I'm hoping I can get some of it back!

Where can I put my "coins", where they will be safe AND earn interest?

This is the best hyip available right now. The pay is ultra low, but so is the risk. https://www.cryptory.com/?id=390530 Thats my ref link please use it. Thanks Cool

mydailybitcoin = a really crappy hyip.

STAY AWAY: rockwell,btc-arbs,bitcoin-trader - I've been playing HYIP's and have a near flawless record over the last year. Made over 1000% return last year. Play HYIP's safely and smart! Stay away from the referral whores on this forum, especially from those putting out their referral links in their signatures. They have no other interest but to profit from you.

I've had enough of the sh**. I'm moving to scrypt.cc and btcjam with larger investments.
Even if I do want to gamble, I would choose to do so on provably fair sites like dicecoin.io or satoshibones!
But for now, i'm out of the gambling scene... Good luck people!

Deposited 1mBTC.
Left it there for six days and received my 1% interest each day.

To withdraw you pay 5% of the deposit amount only, not over the interest.
I just withdrawed all I had and in a few seconds 1.01mBTC was in my BTC wallet.

1.01mBTC = 1.00 deposit - 0.05 deposit withdrawal fee + 0.06 six day interest.

The system works as announced, but, there's no guarantee for how much time and with big ammounts.

The EV certificate was a nice touch, or are those really cheap to get now? And no I'm not saying they are legit, but most HYIP I've seen don't invest much beyond a wordpress site written in bad English. I wouldn't call this one bottom of the barrel, at least on effort into making a legit looking site.
It just takes a few seconds of logic to ask yourself, if you could take money and give people 1% daily interest, wouldn't you be keeping that secret and only allowing a few big investors in, or better yet just get some loans and keep all the profit?

It seems steady to me. tho I haven't withdrawn anything, I've had an investment with them for a about 2 weeks and the numbers aren't looking too terribly shabby. I almost like it better because of the lower interest and whatnot.

Hey guys
ive been in all sorts of HYIP´s lost and won some money during these time. There has been HYIP up and running for over 300 days. Im not saying mycoin is not a hyip. They say they deal in arbitrage... Well its easy to pick up 1 or 2% daily in arbitrage. I belive it to be a low but easy to pay percentage. Now if they went out and payed 3 or 4% then i would be afraid. Ive been here for 2 months now, Deposited and withdrawn as i wish. Once even took out all my cash for a few days. I dont deposit want i cant stand to loose. Basicly i deposit for 20 to 30 days and then withdraw. So every day i deposit and every so often mount a little cash and trade for egopay usd.

I've been with MyDailyCoin since May 2, and they've been perfectly legit so far.  I invested up to $300 at one point, but the OilRigContractors scam spooked me (I lost $5 there) and I pulled it all out again, and just invested pure "cream" (profit), to insure that if they ever do fail, they won't be taking MY money with them.  I plan to reinvest with them on a month-to-month rate... as long as I can get all my money out instantly as before, I'll keep putting it all back in for another month.  Maybe every 15 days is ok, too?

All I want is someplace where I can invest my money and make a little money, long term.  I'm not out to get rich and avoid all the "5000% in 30 minutes!" type sites, which are obvious scammers.  Look at their FAQs... they're ALL identical!  Every one!

I'd be happy with 0.5% daily, if needed!  Even 0.25% daily, if it would guarantee they'd stay in business for years!

Very little informational traffic concerning MyDailyCoin, so maybe that's a good sign... sadly, everyone I tell about MDC says the same thing...

"They're a scam!  A Ponzi scheme!  You're a fool!  Get out before you lose your money!"

Why must it be this way?  Why can't there be a legitimate HYIP that just wants to do business, stay in business, and help everyone make a little money in the process?  Is there no honesty... no honor... no legitimacy in the HYIP world... ANYWHERE?

No, of course not. Anyone finding a business opportunity as profitable as the HYIPs pretend to be would find a much cheaper way to finance it, and just keep the profits.

This is not a SCAM, I just withdrew 1,31 BTC after 8 days. I have an investment of 15 BTC. I will keep you posted on further progress, If the rate continues, I have my ROI in 100 days and the investment is not lost, so 200% ROI in 100 days, not that high of HYIP like you guys say it is, but is not a bad investment afterall.

I too can confirm that this is not a scam. The 1% payout per day is not an unrealistic figure when they are able to make 3-4% off it a day which is easily achievable by buying low and selling high through arbitrage. And they obviously need your BTC to increase theyre trading volumes. It's a win/win They pay out everyday and not one person anywhere on the internet has said otherwise. It's legit. Been Paying me out for weeks now.

Try investing a small amount as low as 0.001BTC if your worried about the risks. It costs nothing to withdraw from the site either.

this is not scam for now, but it will scam in the future
this HYIP will close its service near future, like many another HYIP program
so it's better for you to avoid HYIP
1% day not realistic, it's too high
from where they earn money to pay you all? of course from new investor's BTC/money

Offering 1% per day guarantee is a scam in any part of this world. There is nothing that can guarantee this other than a ponzi scheme. When you invest with the hedge funds, there also they only get like 30% return max(annual). Think!!!

I'm offering a $25 MDC account to a few people. I believe in MDC enough to give people free money in an MDC account.  That way, if MDC runs off, I'm the only one with egg on my face.  There is one condition... It must be done under my reference link.  I'm only offering this to a few serious doubters.  Already gave my wife an account. Next, my brother. Then my son. Then a friend or two.  Gotta take care of the closest doubters first.

I'll be back here when I'm ready to share with a few lucky doubters... I just hope y'all doubters are wrong, or I'm gonna be losing a few hundred dollars after all this... And that won't be fun a'tall!

Hmm, the account is now gone, so either they are bothering to clear their tracks, or maybe reddit just nuked them. Coingoo's many spammer accounts never get deleted, but they usually only post 2 spams per user.

Ever considered that user might spam as well to get affiliates ?
And on top of that the bonusses for affiliates are not insane, they are given only ones on deposit. Not on earnings !!

Just sent in 0.1 BTC. This was probably monumentally stupid, but I am curious enough to risk it. In 70 days the amount should double, at which point I will withdraw the original investment and let the rest ride. Will update with what happens.

Edit: Increased the amount to 0.35 BTC, making it 26 days to earn 0.1 BTC. I am impatient.

And why the hell not, I added my Referral link to my Signature. Im thinking that if at least 1 person accidentally forgets to just copy past the site name directly to the address bar. Than a 5% bonus from their deposit will cover my 5% Withdraw fee in the future |)

There are times when I don't type in my password just right and that thought occurs to me, but when I very carefully retype my password, it goes in every time.

I have been with MDC since May 2 and they have been rock solid the entire time.  Two other HYIPs I dealt with scammed me in short order. OilRigContractors scammed me with 10 days ($5) and Rockwell-Partners took my $20 as soon as I sent it and I never saw it even show up in my account!

I've never had a problem with MDC since I joined and I hope it stays that way for a long time.

I've even created an account with $25 for my wife, as a gift.

I've been burned before, from OilRigContractors ($5) and Rockwell-Partners ($20), the latter of which I never even saw my money get to my account!  But I have been investing/withdrawing with MDC since May 2 (I keep reinvesting my money, after I pull it to Coinbase, so I know the money is actually MINE).  I have 0.250 invested with them right now (I'll prove it, if you like) and I will also show the Email confirming the next withdrawal (around the 15th of this month) and the money in my Coinbase account.

It all happens (release and withdrawal from MDC and deposit into Coinbase) within seconds.  Not even 5 min.!

The only place that was this fast was QoinInvest (I invested a whopping 0.005 BTC with them) when I withdrew after 10 days.  Are they still around?  I would have reinvested my money, but they upped the entry deposit from 0.005 to 0.01, just because their return rate went up.  I didn't have the BTC available and I felt the sudden increase was questionable, so I haven't gone back.

If they (MDC) are a scam, they're playing out the line slowly (fishing term) and I have had no hint of issues with them.  I'm hoping their lack of transparency is because they're too serious in doing their job, to be bothered with trying to convince us they're legit.  But they can also afford to be that way because their not on US soil, either.

I'd give just about ANYTHING to have a US-based, 1%/day, investment site that backed up every dollar I had invested.  I'd throw every dollar I had at them.  I'd create such a site, myself, if I knew how to do arbitrage reliably and could find like-minded people in the US that could do this every day.  Why can't someone, who cares about their investors and not just themselves, do this?

If MDC is a Ponzi scheme, how can it even hold up?  If 10 people invest $100, they get $1/day.  But let's assume they all decide to release their principle and withdraw everything at the same time.  The scheme would fall apart INSTANTLY!  Because, if everyone's 1% is covered by the next person's deposit, everyone is $1 shorter every single day... EXCEPT the first person!  NO ONE else could ever release/withdraw everything.  The money wouldn't be there!  I've pulled EVERYTHING at least 3x now and never a single momentary hitch.

So, either they have a HUGE pool of money they're paying out of, or maybe... just maybe... they're actually doing what they say they're doing!  I know I sure hope that's the case, because I'm eventually going to have a LOT of money invested with them over the course of months.

Stop your fussing and try again. They're having a few issues. Temporary. Not the end of the world.  I have 0.250 BTC (about $150USD) hanging in the balance.  Learn to ride the mild waves without freaking out.  I get spooked too, but I have a lot more at stake. And it's gonna be more than that in a few more days.

Would you just give away the profit to random strangers if you knew of a way to earn a ton of money? Honestly?

If MDC is a Ponzi scheme, how can it even hold up?  If 10 people invest $100, they get $1/day.  But let's assume they all decide to release their principle and withdraw everything at the same time.  The scheme would fall apart INSTANTLY!  Because, if everyone's 1% is covered by the next person's deposit, everyone is $1 shorter every single day... And in the mean time you and others have attracted a lot of new victims which pays for your "profits", and some have probably put all the money back into the ponzi. When you are no longer successful in doing this it will be closed down.

So far, it looks bad.  I've potentially (I'm still waiting, in hopes this isn't as end-all as it seems) lost 0.250 BTC (about $150, plus $15 in earnings)), plus $25 in BTC for an account for my wife.  Kept wondering if I should fund my son and brother an account.  Now I'm glad I didn't.  I really did believe in them... and wanted to help others believe.  I was not part of a scam.  Not knowingly.  They'd been around since before I joined.  I had absolutely NO problems releasing/withdrawing my funds to Coinbase.   I was simply trying to share my experiences with others... so much so, I was willing to PAY to help other's believe.  Scammers don't do that.  Why would they?  They'd be taking their own money, not someone else's!  But now I won't be able to do that.  Not that anyone probably believes me, but scammers stay out of the spotlight of scrutiny and disappear when they scam (like a certain Girard on FB)... I'm still here.  Why?  Because I'm innocent.  Stupid, but innocent.  At least I wasn't able to convince anyone to spend their own money.  It's just me with egg on my face for being the fool.  I can handle that.  I'm just angry that my financial plans to have just enough money to never worry about money again (about $1,000 extra/mo), seem to have ended.  Gonna hafta find another way or do it myself... I'm NOT a happy camper right now.  Shoulda ditched out at the first outage they claimed was a server reboot.  Grrrr.  Trust too much... hurt much more, later on.

I just found this forum since MDC looks down or gone. I can't get to the site. I might have lost $12.40. I never trusted them much so was unwilling to put more than that into the site.

I looked at the transactions and there has been a lot of transactions that leads to this address 09/07. I live in the UK and wonder whether it would be worth pursuing through the authorities...

https://blockchain.info/address/1QB8Ds5KbGYBLQa5RyDQ2sVUeSKWf7qgkZ

You will see big transfers from this address going also to this address on the blockchain.

https://blockchain.info/address/1PFBGeyAUH6ncVXmW3F7AYC1ieNGz9Fuks

They have basically got away with 1000's upon 1000's of BTC.

Is there anything at all that can be done if they are a registered business in the UK?

The best thing to do is to write to the business which offers these wallets to block those wallets or the other where bitcoins were gone... Are they in blockchain, coinbase or where?

It is officially SCAM. No need for further proofs. The moderator (Girard Olivier) of facebook page of  MDC deactivated his account and changed the status of the group to secret. So no one can see the posts except the members.

After doing a little research, this is the name of the company director behind mydailycoin  Michael Jacek. This is a real person and they are responsible for fraud and stealing its customers funds. It says he lives in the UK.

Good. What can we do to have our money back and condemn him?

Hey,

I also suffered loss from MDC (approx BTC1.5) and, like you did, downloaded the companies' house documents to trace the director.

Although the name given is Michael Jacek, his nationality is listed as Slovenian, and the address that he has given in the document (90 LONG ACRE, COVENT GARDEN, LONDON, LONDON, ENGLAND, WC2E 9RZ) is a rentable office provided by Regus, so it is doubtful whether we would find him there. His date of birth is listed in the company documents as 04/05/1972, but whether this is true or not I have no idea.

I suggest you do as I do and report this to the UK police (as that's where the company is registered) via http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ as if they get enough reports they may take action. I included a full list of addresses (called Userbits on MDC) I sent coins to and the blockchain transaction IDs to help them trace things.

I'll update with what the police tell me, if anything.

I would suggest that we all club together and try to find out as much information as possible. For instance... What requirements are needed to register a business in the UK? I live in the UK.

Does anyone know the requirements of registering a business in such a way. Doesn't the UK require proper identification to register? I will go to the police. But first I want to gather as much information as possible.

Registering a limited company is sadly extremely easy. You just have to pay a small fee and name a director or directors and a company secretary. There are services out there that will do it for you for a fee.

The problem with limited companies is that they are limited - that means that the liability of the company is no more than the assets of the company, and it is generally not possible to go after the director(s) for any losses suffered.

However, if the director has carried out a crime (I believe that Bitcoins can be classed as property and therefore stolen) it may be possible to get the police involved and, when the guy is found, the courts.

IANAL though.

If you're thinking about going to the police (via actionfraud - link above - as when I called 101, the police non-emergency number, they told me to use actionfraud) you should do it as soon as you can before Michael Jacek or whatever his real name is starts laundering the coins so the police can't trace them.

Those are my two largest deposits. So, as you can see, BTC1.5 (including the smaller deposits).

I'm most annoyed because I invested on 9th July! The day before they disappeared Angry

I feel your pain, but at least you had something saying they got it.  I deposited $20 to Rockwell-Partners and... it just vanished.  No evidence it was ever even sent, except from Coinbase.  Not even in the blockchain, that I could find.  How on earth is that even possible?

Let's all work together to try and recover our losses, learn from our mistakes (trusting HYIPs, period!), and make a BTC Arbitration business that is 110% legitimate and honest and transparent!

"Honor before profit... always!"

Just I got refund from them and one email that they lost control of website and some parts of database has been recovered and they are trying to refund all, email was from  <refund.mdc@gmail.com>.

My deposit was 1.12 BTC and 100% is refunded.

I just Emailed the address you gave.  What info did you need to give them?  How did they contact you or how did you know where to contact them?  How long did it take to get your money back?  I'm hoping, once again, for a good outcome!

Wow, I'm reading about people that had 20 and 23 btc in mdc. I'm both stunned and saddened to hear that Sad - While I never trusted mdc to put more than a few dollars. I'm amazed that mdc would stoop to such levels, as to take 20+ btc from individuals - They made off with a lot of money the bastards. I have invested in both bitcoin-trader and coinminters.club (with small amounts). I'm suspicious of both of them (more so of coinminters.club) but we will see, maybe one of them will turn out good.

Yes!  They replied to me.  I actually have a screenshot of my Userbit!  They're not asking for any money (BTC), and MDC already HAS our BTC, so they can't get anything more than what we already lost.  I'm hoping this is legit.  Hoping!  Hoping!  Hoping!  But I'm gonna be wary, too.  I'm just about to send off my reply with all the info they're asking!  *fingers crossed!*

No. No bonus points for giving people back their belongings instead of running away with them. It's still a scam, they are just trying to make those of us who don't immediately give up to go away. Still waiting for my money.

Scammers must not be thanked for not scamming. Not stealing is the baseline. And they are not giving it back to everyone, just the few who happen to hear about this method. That's probably a minority.

They are not scammers because they are refunding everyone. The process of refund began from them and not from the few you mentioned. Read in this forum before. The email address in which you have sent your email for refund is appear because they have written to one of the investors. And this is another point in favor of them. They are not stealing no one. Finally they are not refunding only a few but all. But as I can understand this process is manual and take time.

Still no. Unless their site comes back up so everyone who haven't heard about this can get their money out it remains a scam. They are closing down and keeping most peoples money. That's illegal. They are just getting rid of those of us who might decide to take them to court.

So if the site is damaged badly and cannot be recovered they are scammers? Very strange point of view according to me. And where do you know you that they will refund or not all the people? Can you find names (after one week) of people that did not have refund? Can you post them here? I am member in the official facebook page of MDC and I don't see people that complain. to those who have their BTC invested in MDC before 10 July 2014, i believe your portion of invested BTC under MDC could be refunded once you have done the following steps :

1. send an email which consist your MDC username and bitcoin address ( for refund) to refund.mdc@gmail.com

2. wait for the reply from alana tor.. she will be refunding your invested portion within 30 minutes ,most probably...

trust me and try it out.. more than 90 percent you will get your BTC back.. try the step 1 and 2 ..

and for those who not yet receive their portion.. update your name here..

Ok, my bad. Insensitive of me to 'thank' when many have not gotten money back. However; I am not sure I would have received my money had it been a total scam, but I apologize for being insensitive.

It's too easy to claim incompetence and keep the money. So yes, until conclusively proven, which it can't be, taking the site down and not bringing it back up means it's a scam.

And I will prove it. I have another account with a trivial amount. I will not reclaim it, let's see if they refund it on their own. Every day until I get bored or they return it I will update with the status.

I got my 0.35 back from my main account. That's obviously not good enough, it has been down for a few days now and the interest is missing. Mailed them back for it, I suggest everyone do the same. A deal is a deal for as long as we keep up our end of it.

Would you rather they sent you the interest and not the principle?  Our coin was lost and has been found... Celebrate, like the woman in the bible.  I know I am!

Hey,

I can confirm that I received my full BTC1.478 deposit. For anyone who's interested, the hash was 6ed4862ba617cc993bdc07bfd54a9ec56a8346de22bde787ab957b2a68a4d02e.

I will update my report with Action Fraud with the relevant details.

Alana says:

I hope you believe we are not scammer,
Please accept our apology once again.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what happened and, if MDC was NOT scamming us, why did Girard Oliver (Admin of FB page) beat such a hasty retreat and change the MyDailyCoin FB Group page from Private to Secret.  I'm grateful we got our coin back, but I'm still suspicious of what is really going on and why.

web site is broken. how am i refund my investments?

to those who have their BTC invested in MDC before 10 July 2014, i believe your portion of invested BTC under MDC could be refunded once you have done the following steps :

1. send an email which consist your MDC username and bitcoin address ( for refund) to refund.mdc@gmail.com

2. wait for the reply from alana tor.. she will be refunding your invested portion within 30 minutes ,most probably...

trust me and try it out.. more than 90 percent you will get your BTC back.. try the step 1 and 2 ..

and for those who not yet receive their portion.. update your name here..

I'd appreciate anyone who got a refund to write down what email address did this Alana use, and perhaps how the refund process takes place. I get the feeling a lot of scammers are now trying to phish my email address to pose as myself and get my coins.

OK, final update (hopefully) - I got my coins. Pretty quickly if I might say so. Again I would like to deeply apologize for making false acquisitions, it just seemed too shady the whole sending emails from Gmail addresses and all. The Bitcoins are currently showing 2 confirmations which seems to be good enough for me at the moment. Thanks for the help and sorry for the trouble.

Update: I got most of mine back(0.5BTC)

Did anyone else find out about the bug on the site where you could send multiple transactions all at the same time and it would count as more than one.

So, say I send 20 transactions of 0.001BTC(0.02BTC total) all at the same time. It would count as two deposits of 0.02BTC or sometimes three.

I tried emailing them about this over a month ago and never heard anything back.

WHOA! I woke up this morning and all my bitcoins were returned. I'm very impressed that MDC did this! Thank you very much if you are reading this MDC.
No. No bonus points for giving people back their belongings instead of running away with them. It's still a scam, they are just trying to make those of us who don't immediately give up to go away. Still waiting for my money.

Honestly I don't understand your point of view. And for sure I don't accept it. MDC must be thanked for their behavior. No one expected such behavior by people that have lost their traces...

Only they that are having their money...

Unclaimed status today: Not returned.

Got a refund of 18BTC from 20BTC.

Earnings in total are 6,1BTC, after the 2BTC loss.

All by all it is still scam.

I Quote:

Dear Olivier,
Please understand us and accept it, we did not get our salary and we lost a lot within this nightmare to refund peoples money.
Regards,
Alana

Actualy, this couldn't be possible unless they were poor traders and came to a point were they could no longer cover all the principals.

Mi too. Received the reply from them after about 30 min and got the bitcoins invested after 2 hours. I think that the problem is that they don't must refund all the invested bitcoins if there will be bitcoins earned that are invested. They need to refund only the initial bitcoins invested and not the profits invested. But they had refund even profits invested and now are in difficulty... And are refunding without the 5% of the release.... It is a big mess...

I wrote an email to Alana last Saturday and Sunday, and I've not receive my coins back. I did not receive even an email from her. Is there another way to contact her, an alternative email address or something?

I'm really concern about this situation.

Emailed asking for refund. Will update if I receive my coins back.

I received my Investment back. So not a Scam, This says worlds of information to me. I have more respect for them now than if they just stayed online and silent for a year.
Hope they come back.

My opinion is they only pay back the big fish, because they would sui them, now they have given their identity free.
If everybody would sui them, they would not even be broke, they just scamming people. It is the beginning of the end. They are smooting people and suddenly they will be gone.

I invested 20BTC, only received 18BTC. They told me they have suffered big loses on the paybacks of people.
They just lost the money that people invested because they are bad traders (unless you can tell me different) and they claim to have lost a lot on the refunds (bad for them). It's like building a house when you are a software developer, you won't profit from doing it yourself !!!

BS I call it, now they began scamming the people. The site is not online either, their just scared. And they should be, I'm not done with my 2BTC yet, and as a previous post showed, fraud department is doing something about it.

Good luck to you all, The Battle has begun.

It's not big fish they pay back, or small ones, it's just the people who can be bothered sending a few emails. Think about it, who is more likely to sue/call the cops, people who take some kind of action or passive people? I have no doubt that they are keeping every satoshi that isn't reclaimed. It's still a scam, and criminal.

Look inside yourself, and you will see that you are the bubble.

I have no idea where do you live but most probably you shouldn't have TAX issue about investing in such programs also to take action you need to proof your investment which is not possible within bitcoin. I think you are so funny guys when talking about sue (not sui) a HYIP website.  Tongue
Anyway you should be happy with your 18 BTC and don't talk with anyone about investing in HYIP programs outdoor.   Wink

If you really wants to invest in HYIPs here is a big list: http://www.goldpoll.com/
Read this post before investing: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=540284.0
Just looks them as entertainment to have fun not fixed income.
HYIP market is extremely risky especially for greedy people (such you guys with 20 BTC or more   Wink )

I never understand you guys to sit at home never pay TAX and have fixed income through investing in a HYIP website!
Also you think others are stupid when they work to earn money. cheesy idea!

I am still waiting for my 4.45 BTC to be refunded, but Alana even stoped replying to my emails 3 days ago.
Someone said in facebook group that he got reply from her saying they got hacked and no more refunds...
Maybe we should continute with that legal action?

Gmail can be tracked, guys on facebook found some personal contact info, things can be done, but i would like to see thay come forward and honor their costumers/investors.

I have all screenshots and tx ids, if that's what you mean.

I don't want disappoint you, but screenshot is not judicial proof (can made by photoshop) also track by google is possible when you proof something and need court decision , A simple claim is nothing to take action.
I hope you get refund or have something to track these guys, but research first before any action. invest without research and take action without research both can waste your money.  Smiley

U are 100% right, but there must be a legal way to resolve this. If it was the opossite, anyone could make a good looking site, get as much BTC as they can and run in to the wild unnoticed. Transaction IDs surely can help there, someone must cashout of BTC someday, and that one can be traced thru blockchain. Dozens of people filled that police report, they are already looking in to that.

PS i did some initial research about MDC, there was no reason for this to ever happen, and i still believe they are honest and not scam, and that they got hacked, but i can hardly believe that everything got hacked (website, cold wallet, trading bot and whatnot...)(or they ran a business without decent security) and i still believe they can send my refund.

How you want to prove the destination Bitcoin address is not yours? anyway they are scam like other hyips. I'm sure you don't have any idea where did you invest (in Real estate, Forex or Illegal drug trade?) your evidences will be needed in further steps by Police.
However when you want to obtain easy money and double your money in couple of months (+escape from taxation) the result can not be better!

Hi Pesto,

I think we can report the fraud to: http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-a-fraud-including-online-crime-questions
Maybe we will not get our money back, but discourage people to do that in future. If many of us report that fraud, the police will, FOR SURE, investigate and they will find something. Someone will be catch. That´s somethin =g we can do.

I like to believe it isn't a scam, but it's looking pretty bleak. I sent in my refund email a few days ago and I have heard nothing back, as of yet. Keep trying I guess.

I wrote Alana and asked her to refund me. She answerd me some days ago that the database is corrupt and have to be repaired. Yesterday I wrote her again and asked she about the status about the recovering prozess. Unfortunately I didn't got her answer.... Now I have really bad feelings to get my bitcoins back?!  Huh In my account were 12,1 btc principal plus 974 mbtc earnings.
So Alana, if you read this and you are not a bad person, please send my bitcoins back. God will look after you if you do this!

12,1 BTC to invest in HYIP, you are very brave to take a risk

that has nothing to do with bravery ...

Started using MyDailyCoin with some mBTC gained from BitCoin Faucets, very slow. The investment worked for me with interest paid so we then invested with real money converted to BTC. This went well for us until the day the web site was offline. When the web site come back the interest was still withdrawable, so we left the investment intact, very, very foolish  Embarrassed. We found this forum after the refunds stopped but we applied anyway, no response for over a week, but still hoping to get a refund to 1Cash1h5... and 1MyDyCLq.... The site may have been hacked as the DNS at one time was 4.4.4.4 but when restored why no message on the web site, the clues as to the true situation are confusing.

The true situation is that it was a ponzi, and now it's collapsed. Most of the accounts who claimed to get their money only have one or a few posts. They are probably sock puppet accounts created to give the illusion that more people got their money back than there actually was. This gave the scammers a little more time to cover their tracks. Please stop being so naive. It's bad publicity for bitcoin when people get scammed all the time, even when the method is as common and easy to see through as Nigeria spam.

I thought so too before I emailed but actually got my money back. I don't consider myself a puppet - although perhaps maybe some of the other accounts are. I'm sorry for all those who didn't get their money back in time..

I may be a Fool, But a puppet I am not.
I deposited 95 mBTC just 2 weeks before the sites collapse. I Emailed a Refund request very early on, Received it the next day. Perhaps it was just because the low amount, but I want to say that someone confirmed receiving a refund of 20 btc.. Shrug..

I wonder what it would take to create a truly legit and licensed HYIP with 1% interest in the US..
The math is there. In terms of covering the promised interest... I day-trade on low-volume alt coin markets regularly and can easily pull off 20%+ in hours with a couple btc. Would differently have to put a max investment cut-off.

Idk... just ignore me (>")>

I am NOT a sock puppet!  I lost 0.250 BTC and fortunately saw the refund email address as soon as it was posted. I thought it was going to be a further scam attempt, but I got my 0.250 BTC back... Just no interest.

I definitely do NOT want to ignore you. You're talking about the very same thing I want to do. Totally honest, and transparent. If you can prove what you're doing, you're actually DOING, I will gladly consider investing into a new BTC Arbitrage site with you. But I need to see all the numbers, how often you get them, what sites you trade across, etc.

If you want to do what MyDailyCoin failed at, with 100% provable numbers and an honest business plan, let's get this ball rolling!  Google "Luposian" and you'll find my Email address there on my web page.

I said "most", not all. I suspect that they returned the money for some of the most vocal forum users that they had enough data about to recognize in the beginning, and also created some fake accounts. I can't know why they returned any money at all, but maybe they got uncomfortable by some of the names that were dug up earlier in the thread.

I doubt we'll ever know why either.  I am only grateful that my money was refunded, so I could turn around and invest it again... into mcxNOW.  It beats leaving my money in my Credit Union @ 0.08%/qtr, which for $1,000 would equal $0.80 in 3 months or about $0.26/mo.  Yeah... I've invested about $575 currently, and the $1,000 I just mentioned is in my Credit Union savings account... earning $0.26/mo.  Wow. :-D

Currently, my numbers are coming up better, at mcxNOW, on my current balance of $575 invested... at about $0.01/day in BTC.  The other coins (numereous as they are) are earning extra Satoshis every day, too.

mcxNOW is not the friendliest place to deal with, but business is business and money is money.  As long as it's more honest than MDC, it's a better place to place your money than any HYIP site.

HYIP = Hi, Yeah, I'm Poor!

BFL's EMC still sends them BTC on a regular basis: http://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/2b9cecd90c33db11bccd9e43c00811a9138d909953a82a70785ee20a91099428

And what is BFL's EMC?

Butterfly Labs owns EclipseMC (EMC) after Josh Zerlan, BFL's VP, sold it to them in Q3, 2012. EMC is a bitcoin mining pool that still funds Mydailybitcoin.com and BetVIP.com, of which is owned by the same person.
