Manchester City may have messed up in fanning the pressure on Arsenal after the bad results of their last game in the EPL with West ham but it's shouldn't make Arsenal relaxed in any way because this is the most crucial time for Arsenal not to miss any single point from each of their game, so by this evening when City are winning all their remaining games it doesn't bother Arsenal as they're winning theirs with the standing points gap already on ground.
In this our generation, we've seen the most confused set of pundits in the history of football. A sentimental analysis of the effect of the result after the final. Some say that if Arsenal wins the cup, it will increase the momentum of Manchester City going forward towards the EPL title charge. And if Arsenal loses the cup, it will affect them towards winning the Premier League. None of them is talking about the negative effect on Manchester City if they lose the final, and no one is talking about the positive effect on Arsenal if they win this final. You worrying your thoughts with what some of these pundits has to say it's as if you don't know them that much how some of them can be controversial with their analysis of games and clubs especially when they having a sentiment towards such. I believe that whatever the outcome of this game between Arsenal and Manchester City, there's going to be an either way effect on both sides, but it wouldn't be that Arsenal would be losing the EPL at this stage of the games due to a bad result from the Carabao Cup final.

Today is the main event for the first and second on the EPL table to battle it out on who's going to win their first trophy of the season, Manchester City a struggling side against one of the best team in Europe, talking about Arsenal. Could Pep Guardiola do it again by snatching yet another trophy from Arsenal leaving them stranded on the pitch today? What's your take on this very encounter of too great clubs? This match will start very soon it's a bit difficult to predict because this is final though Man city is not playing very good this season but it seems this is the only place they have hope of winning title. Arsenal has been playing well this season they are aiming to win three title this season the premier league is sure for them they will want to win Man city to start their title winning today.

I don't know the logic behind Peps decision to James Trafford ahead of Donar in this game, but the de ision is looking like one I think he will get to regret later on. Timber is still out injured, so I understand Arteta's choice to go with White. I certainly would have loved Timber to be the one against Doku. I hope the experience of White will be enough to keep Doku quiet in the game.

Arteta can still make Manchester City go this season trophyless by defeating them today and start their opening trophy record if they end up winning their and the league then the course of not winning a trophy for more than 19 years will be finally broken.

IAll I know and expect in this game finals is that it's gonna be a tough and difficult game for the both sides for a winner to emerge it's being over a decade since Arsenal last won this very Cup and that's why they would play like a hungry lions to break the drought of this competition, while for City their last time of winning the EFL was in 2016 under Pep Guardiola. So with all that pending about this final it's just hard to predict a winner with or without considering current forms

It's tough but not as interesting as I expected, it doesn't even look like a final but a normal Premier League game, both teams are still struggling to score and the first half would soon end. Surprisingly Manchester City is pressing more but they've not got enough good chances, if they had the chances Arsenal had maybe they could've score a goal. Manchester City is being technicial and trying beat Arsenal's defence but they can do better in the 2nd half. At this point it's 50/50, winning is open to either of them.

So with all that pending about this final it's just hard to predict a winner with or without considering current forms The first 45 minutes of the match is gone, and no goal has been scored so far. As we all can see in the match, the match is still unpredictable, and both teams are guarding their box with all their might to not concede any goals that could cost them the EFL Cup trophy. On my own side, I would prefer Arsenal to lift this EFL Cup trophy this season. Let it be that they denied Manchester City a trophy, not for Manchester City to deny them a trophy because Manchester City has done that to them, denying them a Premier League trophy about twice, making them go trophyless in that season(2022/2023 and 2023/2024)

The cold and pressure is really on both sides in the first half that's why they find it hard to connect like they used to, since is the final I expected the first half to be goalless but the Gunners are still going to win. Manchester City are still having that sluggish way they started with this season so it will be hard to cause any harm to the Gunners.

Boring to me, it go to a point I started sleeping, it was when I jerked I realised I was using my device to watch the match, Arsenal on the other hand has refused to keep the ball on the ground and play ball, it's not as if it's Manchester City Vs Leeds, it's Arsenal here and besides they are a better team than Manchester City currently. Manchester City on their own is playing but no threat of scoring against Arsenal, despite all their dominance no single shot on target, this isn't the Manchester City I once knew under Pep, the second is here and we will find out who goes home with the small trophy.

The first half has ended in a goalless draw and even without interesting moments apart from few dangerous attacks made by the Arsenal team they could not even covert those chances to meaningful moments. Although I will say the second half of the game will be an interesting one as both teams will play with all they have to secure a win in the game, but with what am seeing i think it may end in favour of Arsenal as they have a solid defence that refused to give chances for the tactical technique of Manchester City to yield positive results. Manchester City have been able to create some chances but converting it is very difficult for them but I know the second half will be a challenging one as Arsenal will come in with full tentacles all for a win and nothing else.

They played carefully in order not to make any mistakes for their opponents to see as an advantage over them. Of course, City dominated the game but they were unable to get a shot on target. I believe we will see something different in the second half. One side will break the deadlock. Whomever, breaks the deadlock first might win the game. City still dominates as they pressure Arsenal defense.

Arsenal 0-0 Manchester city. Honestly, final's can be quite unpredictable as everything is possible to happen at any time, who could have believe that Manchester city would hold Arsenal first half draw after all their poor performances. Although I was quite that Manchester city wouldn't let Arsenal get this trophy due to the fact that it's a final even though they were not able to get a win in the premier league I knew it will be a difficult one for both teams.
Anyways let's see how it goes because it seems like they might likely end 90 minutes draw and that is actually my prediction.

Arsenal and Manchester United have played up to 59th minute and the scoreline is still 0-0 but if Manchester City continues with their dominance they might find Arsenal's net.

O'Reilly finally finds the back of the net with a header into an open net. I smelled goal in the beginning of the second half as Manchester City kept on pressuring Arsenal defense with aggressive attacks.
Arsenal couldn't withstand the pressure. O'Reilly finds the back of the net for the second time with a header four minutes after his first goal which came in on the 60th and 64th minutes respectively to make it 2-0 at Wembley.

It's now 0-2. You're right a final is very unpredictable no matter the form of a team so far the match is played between big teams then there's every possibility that any team can win and it doesn't matter their form. It's a surprise how Arsenal is losing 2 goal to Manchester City in the space of a few minutes gap. No one could believe Arsenal will lose after all their form this season. Now I don't think Arsenal will equalize so the chance of them winning a quadruple as their fans claim is now gone. Let's see if they can make a treble but I doubt if they can. Losing this game shouldn't demoralized them, it doesn't mean they have failed. They can still win the premier league and the FA Cup even if they don't win the champions league.

In the EFL Cup final, we see a different Manchester City. The main thing is that we have not seen this team be so aggressive against Real Madrid in the last two UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matches but they put in an unforgettable performance in the Carabao Cup final today, with one of their players scoring two goals in the space of four minutes to pave the way for their team to win the EFL Cup. By the way I believed Arsenal would be the most consistent in this 2025/26 Carabao Cup tournament final like in UCL and Premier League but they have already conceded two goals as a result, it seems to me that City is ahead in terms of the chances of winning the trophy in this tournament.

Manchester City are finally so close to lifting a trophy this season. This is like one of their only chances together with the FA Cup... But I must admit I was waiting for Arsenal to win the game instead. Bookies also thought the same but here we are! O'Reilly just looks great today. Guardiola had a hard time in the 1st half but made up for it later on. This cup is less important than the FA Cup maybe but it's really important for Manchester City as they are out of the CL and struggling in the PL.

It's game over already and City name has been crested on the trophy. What a beautiful performance from City. They were able to outplay Arsenal to the point that Arsenal found it difficult to create any good chance of netting the post. This is the 5th time that Pep Guardiola has won this trophy making him the only manager that has achieved it more than any manager. Congratulations to them.

I looked at your odds and it favored Arsenal against Manchester City and I also want to say this, trust me, if I were the one, I would have also chosen my odds in the same direction as yours because I would easily selected Arsenal to beat Manchester City owing to the fact Arsenal are on top of their game right now. But look at what we saw, what we all thought was going to play out is, Arsenal will take this trophy only for us to see Arsenal lost two goals to none to the Manchester City guys. It was such an embarrassing outing for the Gunners and all their fans are seriously pained right now and are already doubting if they will be able to win the Premier League titles and the Champions league title as well. We all thought the Carabao was a sure game by its nature and timing only to witness otherwise, this is why in football, there is nothing like a sure odd.
