The game initially ended in a 1 - 1 draw, needless say that Arsenal played a very disappointing game tonight, they had several opportunities but failed to convert any of those to goals, their performance in the first half was nothing to write home about.
Fleetwood on the other hand had a very strong defence and a good goal keeper, this I believe is what contributed majorly to their success tonight..
As an Arsenal fan, I am very disappointed with their performance but on the other hand, I am happy for Fleetwood Town, wishing them more wins going forward.

I certainly cant say I am very sure but there is the possibility that Arsenal didn't actually put enough or any efforts into beating Fleetwood simply because their main focus is on the premier league and the UEFA champions league, So their next game in the premier league would definitely tell if the club has lost focus or they simply didn't place as much value on the EFL Carabao cup.

And on the other hand still, I think most of this supposedly smaller clubs seems to be a bone hanging in the throat of some of this bigger clubs, Manchester city barely escaped from the hands of Brighton & Hove yesterday, when the match ended in a 2 : 2 draw and was going into penalties, I feared for Manchester city, But thank goodness they were able to scale through at last.

Why so many people are so rant after Arsenal got knocked out by the 4th tier club? Why can't a small club win against big club, though the chance is small? Manchester United knocked out by Grimsby yet so many people were laughing at them. Why can we express the same impression like what United has done in the past?
Just because they were winning EPL last season, they were invicible. That's not how football is working. Fleetwood didn't do wrong, and their static is also pretty good as 4th tier team compared to the Arsenal. They deserve this win as their pride, and they also do it through penalty, which was showing how strong they were.

Other than Arsena's lost to Fleetwood, Chelsea is gonna meet Liverpool soon. I put Liverpool is in favor than Chelsea because the lose against Spurs is obviously makes me overthinking to pick them. They might be one of most produced club, but their defense is just so horrendous to watch. Dibu is not yet confirmed to play. So it's quite risky to bet on them because Liverpool was also beating Brighton which is one of most performed club now. Liverpool is leading with 2.55 while Chelsea 3.20. It's easy to know in which team we should bet, and it is Liverpool because the game is also happening at Anfield.

It's rare to see a team that's invisible even if they go a full season unbeaten they would still draw some games, what happened yesterday against Fleetwood is not suprising to me cause it's football and anything is possible, although I was pained or disappointed rather cause my expectations on Arsenal was too high.

 Liverpool is in a better form than Chelsea and if we're to judge by that then it okay for anybody to consider them favourites. If they could be Brighton that's been impressive this season then Chelsea wouldn't be a big deal for them, even though i like Chelsea am not confident in them i can only hope the game favours them.

Arsenal was not an invisible when they won EPL last season. So a lost to the small team is possible, but losing to the tier team sounds a bit unacceptable. However, this is football when anything can happen. Apart from that Liverpool success to kick Chelsea out from EFL cup through penalty. It proves they're in a better state than Chelsea, though their luck is also playing a bit here. Our guess was right if we should bet on Liverpool won. We have only a few big teams successfully go to the next stage. I think it's pretty easy to predict which team to win the EFL cup. No Chelsea and Arsenal in semis. EFL will feel boring.

I'm only guessing City to go back home with EFL trophy even when they're in crisis now. There's no club that can match them in EFL. It seems City will be owning this. Liverpool is the only team that can fight City for the trophy,  but i hope Bournemouth will knock them out soon.

In this case there's nothing like they're focusing on premier league and champions league. Arteta never expected that Fleetwood will knocked them out of caraboa cup, Arsenal underestimated Fleetwood that if they can beat big clubs in Premier league and Europe Fleetwood is nothing to them. Fleetwood players hold Arsenal players very well and their performance in first half watch nice, they scored in 21 minutes and hold the goal till first half finished which Arsenal was unable to equalized. Arsenal are meant to used the second half and winning the match but it was difficult for them, and before they realised second half was over, they still have chance of winning match but they still missed penalties.

Every minute, I was rooting for Aston Villa to score just one goal so my bet would win, but unluckily for me they couldn't manage a single goal, and I lose my bet.

I had to go through various analyses to bet on this match, but in the end I decided not to bet on this match. It is very difficult to predict the Everton vs Newcastle match. Although the odds on the match result are comfortable, I do not feel confident in them, the odds on the options that can be confident are not worth betting on in any way. It would be wrong to take a risk with a 10%-20% profit. If this was a Premier League or Europa League match, then the betting trend on Newcastle might have made sense. But after seeing the unexpected result yesterday, the betting trend on this match does not make sense to me.

It was the same thing that came to my thoughts after Arsenal got eliminated from EFL. Arteta wants more concentration on the two big trophies without getting distracted by these small competitions which was why he didn't bother to win the game and quakify for the next round.

However, it will be sad if Arsenal is unable to to win either EPL or UCL because they have a better chance of winning Carabao cup than UCL or EPL. Let's wait and see till the end of this season.

Man City currently i think dosent care about the carabao cup but if they reach the semi final i think they will start playing with their main players and go for the trophy,until the semi final i expect Man City to put in young players and rest their main players. Maresca is doing a good thing to not put presure much on his main players and keep them fresh for the league and the champions league because there is just too many games to be played.

Brighton & Hove is not an underdog team like Fleetwood that eliminated arsenal, it wouldn't still be a surprise if Brighton won the game against manchester city. The smaller clubs usually takes this kind of competitions so seriously because they always see it as an opportunity to win a trophy, so while other big clubs reserve some of their key players when playing competition like this the smaller clubs uses everything they have just to make sure they grape a win and advance to the next round, any way let's see how arsenal will perform in their coming premier league match before we can be sure if didn't put much effort against Fleetwood Town.

Another difficult party for Liverpool, Chelsea wasn't in good form to take down Liverpool and the Red managed to win yesterday's game but it won't be as soft as it was against Chelsea when they play against Bournemouth. The form of Bournemouth both in the EPL and all competitions is something we should praise them for, this is a team so many never saw playing at their best no matter who their opposition is and Liverpool will have to do better if not it will be goodbye from the Carabao Cup.

Penalties are very unpredictable that why it isn't advisable for teams to go goalless until they enter the PK shootout...Even big team loose penalty shootout's to smaller club which on a normal should have been easily beaten...In Arsenal case, it's best to say tht Havertz was majorly the problem of Arsenal coz am sure that Arsenal would have won that game assuming Kai was clinical with those his missed opportunities...And surely it is wrong of @Nwadiche to assume that Arsenal poor performance was because their focus was on winning EPL instead.. Currently they aren't even topping the table and with the competition they are receiving from a team like City, it may even be difficult for Arsenal to win it this time around...

 Newcastle at the break are down by 2 goals and it's very obvious who will move to the quarter finals at the end of the game and that's Everton, except they will bounce back in the second half which is something I highly doubt because Newcastle have been in a very poor from of late, struggling to win games and if they can't fight to stay in this tournament, it will be more pressure mounted on Mattias Jaissle.

Funny how this clubs are eliminating and my club which is the city have more chances of winning funny how Liverpool is still in the race  and that is why games are difficult to speculate most times, I have confidence that Manchester city is going to win for sure and there is more reasons for me to say this because do think Liverpool will win nah I doubt the only clubs. I see that have prospects in winning the efl is Manchester City, and that's one thing I love about the city either we must bag one of the trophies if not more than one despite everything the club is just to good. The efl actually surprised us because a lot of clubs that are eliminated are not exactly what we expected but since it has happen there is nothing to be done than for those still in the race to do all they can to see if they have what it takes to win the efl and am still sticking to my boys winning.
