Alrighty... so you've already seen what goes on the back(no, it's not a heatsink sticker for miners). Without further ado, I present my project: So, yeah.... that just happened -Fuse

Thanks, mate... it's my baby. I've been waiting almost a month or so to get my hands on these. I feel it was well worth it. I need to work out logistics with someone in EU, as I am in the US and I would rather not have to individually ship 250 packages. The first 20-25 coins are going to the dev team, my team, and some special community members. The hologram stickers hit my office on Wednesday. Once I have everything in hand, I'll work on getting all the details worked out and I'll make sure the community knows what's up. -Fuse

For the non-dutchies: It really looks like a special edition of the Guldens coins we once had

I'm glad the community likes the design. I wanted to stay as true to the branding as possible, but still be able to call it my own. So instead of the outside circle fully encompassing the design, it stops short to form another "G", and it give a place to do the numbering. Also it's hard to get a good picture of, but the outside edge of the coin is engraved with the phrase "betalen met guldencoin". So it's just another little touch on it. I'm excited to get these out to the community. It was really hard not telling you guys what I was working on specifically. -Fuse from the first set number 1 pleas is this proof? 1-5 will go to the dev team. They can fight over the numbers. 6 through 10-12 will go to my team. Another 5 or so will go to outstanding members of the community, I'm thinking as voted on by the community when the time comes. After that we'll need to get exact numbers squared away, and they'll be available first come, first serve. However, I still need to figure out logistics. More info will follow, but know that this is here. As far as proof, not sure I understand what you're asking. Let me know and I'll get back ASAP.

proof: never touched with your hands and air-tight
Not in air-tights, and I can't comment on whether they have been touched or not. They are in flip cases. I would assume they were packaged with gloves, as I can't see fingerprints on any of them. However, they aren't silver, so they won't tarnish like silver(way too expensive for my blood). They are polished nickel, so they should stand up to the test of time. Hopefully that doesn't diminish the overall excitement of them. In my mind, I wanted something that would look really great, and would look even better on a crypto news site stacked up like those pictures of the old casacious coins. -Fuse

As soon as I can figure out the logistics of selling them in EU, I'll let the community know how order them. Like I said, I'd much rather ship them in bulk to a distributor there than having to ship individual boxes. However, I will look at both options as this week progresses. Thanks for the cross-post. I had to break out my Google Translate today, for sure lol. -Fuse

You keep it as a small cold-storage wallet. Give it to friends/family as a gift. Put it in a display case to say you were in on NLG before it overtook LTC. I guess you would consider it the casacious coin of NLG. So it's really up to you what you want to do with it. I would say though, that with the way collectable coins go, in a year or two, theses would be worth a pretty penny when NLG is mainstream in day to day use. -Fuse

If anyone is wondering about loading these, I would like to note that I will not personally load them. I want the end user to load it themselves. This is more secure, and it takes a key issue out of the equation - losing digital coins if the physical coin gets lost/stolen in shipping. Additionally, I don't want to be responsible for making 250 wallet/pairs that could be claimed I still have access to. More secure IMO. For those of you that want to know how the key pair could possibly look, I made one in Illustrator with a wallet generated from Cryptolife.net. It's 0.5" x 1.5", and would be folded accordion style into thirds. The space on the coin for the pair info is 0.5" x 0.5". The font used for this pair was 7pt, and it is perfectly legible when printed on a laserjet printer. I don't have an inkjet to test with, but I'm sure you could get similar results. Here it is: FYI... thats a throw-away address, and no one should use it as it's now public. -Fuse

For example, you send extra coins to GJ, he signs and posts a pic here, then sends coins to Waterloo, he signs and posts the updated pic, he sends to whoever, etc etc. Then offer the coins for sale at a premium price once everyone has signed. It will be the slowest transfer of NLG in the world (HAHA), but all kidding aside, it will attract even more attention and people will love to follow the gulden....
