Is this Arsenal season to win the champions league? Arsenal seems to have the easiest route to the final and their current form is enough to beat every team on their way this season.

Luis Enrique request for Chelsea and he has it again. Should we expect a revenge from PSG or another shocking defeat from Chelsea? Time shall tell.

Arsenal is definitely going to reach semi final or final in the Champions League, just look at the teams they will likely play against, they will play Leverkusen and Arsenal will surely going to win the game and after beating Leverkusen they will face Sporting or Bodo/Gmlit and no any of these teams can beat Arsenal, if Barcelona manage to beat Newcastle and beat Tottenham or Atletico Madrid they will face Arsenal and we all know that Barcelona can not beat Arsenal, Barcelona have been struggling to beat teams like PSG and Chelsea this season and Arsenal is better than those teams.

The only part that I don’t like is Real Madrid vs Manchester City, UEFA should have do better by changing it, Real Madrid and Man City have become like a derby, they always meet every season, Real Madrid will meet Man City two times this season and they have been playing against each other for the past 6 seasons, well, it is what it is, Real Madrid and Manchester City have a big challenge ahead of them because they are going to face Bayern Munich if anyone manage to qualify.

Their biggest challenge is their defense, their defense is very poor and that could be the only reason they could throw away a three goal advantage and struggle to make it through. What is just surprising is that this same defense did not concede any goal in the first leg. Galatasaray will have to work on their defense if they have the plans to make more progress in the Champions League because if they do not, whatever effort their attacker championed by Osimhen put, a poor defense will ensure it doesn't count.

The defense is the main problem, i agree, and in fact Juventus has allowed this defense to falter and crack, and problems have emerged. i must say that Galatasaray is an excellent team, but if they want to make progress in the Champions League, they absolutely must improve this defense, which concedes a lot of goals.

Madrid is still far behind even though they are a little closer to going to the round of 16. However, if they continue their efforts like this and start playing for victory, then maybe something good will happen in Madrid.

I would like to see the following quarterfinals:

PSG - Liverpool
Manchester City - Bayern Munich
Barcelona - Atletico
Bodo/Glimt - Arsenal

The most anticipated and spectacular match of the Round of 16 will undoubtedly be Manchester City vs. Real Madrid. I hope the other matches of this round will be just as exciting.

It's an easy route for Arsenal but let's see if they are going to utilize the opportunity.

Of course Enrique will want to revenge but i don't think his team is in the best shape to do that. The fixture is unpredictable.

The favourite fixture is PSG vs Chelsea and Real Madrid vs Manchester City.

Non of these teams should be underrated. I know Barcelona and Arsenal have an easy route to follow but that doesn't  mean they will automatically make it to the Final. All these teams didn't luckily make it this far they worked for it and they will still fight to go even far. I don't really like how strong teams are being arranged in the other group to face each other, it's just like they want either Barcelona or Arsenal to reach the final. If Barcelona should face Arsenal in the semi final i think it will be difficult to predict a winner so saying Barcelona cannot beat Arsenal is not appropriate because Arsenal is not undefeatable.

I also think the same way, the problem is that when facing Arsenal, in terms of quality and statistics, Arsenal is the favorite and it seems Arsenal can reach the semifinals. This is just a prediction but I always believe there are many unexpected surprises that could happen.

Madrid will face Man City in the round of 16. Although Man City is also not in good form, they are still a tough opponent to beat. I believe this match will be exciting. I think all the teams in the round of 16 have found strong opponents. The teams that have managed to qualify, of course, have a deserving quality. And in the next round, we will see fewer teams being favored, but we also have to accept if a team we support gets eliminated. The competition will be tight.

Good one MAAManda, I really want Real Madrid to qualify for the next round because I believe they will make the competition look more interesting and competitive.

They didn't deserve to be out of the competition this early, that's why I was confident they would make it to the next round & in fact they did. Playing at Santiago Bernabeu made them more motivated, which finally they were able to win with score Real Madrid 2 - 1 Benfica & making Real Madrid 3 - 1 Benfica in aggregate.

The draw has been made, they will meet PL representative (Manchester City), in the last meeting, Real Madrid failed to win, but in this knockout round, I'm sure Real Madrid will destroy Manchester City.

For this side of the draw, it's quite surprising because indeed Madrid vs Man City happens in the round of 16. Atalanta is the only team that surprised us! Given their performance in the league, no one would have imagined that they would be able to overturn the result of the first leg.

Bodoe Glimt-Inter has highlighted the difficulties that exist in Serie A and the level of our first team that is currently winning the championship, so either things improve or there will no longer be very strong teams in Italy to be able to face the Champions League at a good level and it seems to me that things are not improving much.

I don't entirely agree with your statement.
It's true that the level of Serie A has dropped dramatically over the last 20 years, but let's not forget that Inter is the Italian team that played in the final last year and three years ago.
This comparison would have been valid if Inter had lost to a Spanish, German or English team, but it doesn't hold up against a Norwegian team!
Bodo Glimt deserved to go through, but something has definitely broken at Inter on the European stage.

i think we could have seen a better matchup. is it just me, or does it seem like the right side of this visual should be swapped with the left side?

on the left side, there are several teams that are direct contenders for the champions league title, while on the right, there are teams that seem a bit out of place in the quarterfinals. the matchup that stands out the most to me is bodo/glimt vs. sporting. maybe they'll surprise me and advance in the tournament, but i don't think that will happen.

arsenal's path to the final looks pretty straightforward; i think these matchups have benefited them the most.

that will be a tough opponent and probably the end of the Champions League for Leverkusen.

Based on this format drawing, Barcelona looks has an easily batch if can beat Newcastle United will face the winner between Atletico Madrid or Tottenham Hotspur in quarter final round. I think Barcelona not difficulty if performing well from knock out round until the semifinal round possibility will face Arsenal, difference with Real Madrid since the round of 16 has difficulty match by facing Manchester City and this batch have many top team will face from Bayern Munich until possibility will face PSG, Chelsea or Liverpool.

Barcelona must playing well for the round of 16 in Champion League and get an advantage draw regarding not any top team will face until semifinal round, seems nice drawing batch for Barcelona's fans seeing the candidate opponent team will face since from quarter final until semifinal round.

I very well agree with you in this give or take am expecting nothing less than 4 to 5 goals from Arsenal  , coz Arsenal are really in form this season and every single match they have played has been really fun to watch....I also expect Barcelona victory against Newcastle coz definitely Newcastle are no match for them.....But then it so difficult to say the same for other teams in the Round of 16 coz of how competitive it will be....

Galatasaray vs. Liverpool: Liverpool

From the last game, Galastataray with Juventus, I will have to conclude that Liverpool might make it to the quarterfinals. The Turkish club's defence was so poor that an average English team would have a free day. The last match Galatasaray played with an English club (Manchester City) was on January 28th, and they lost the game. At this stage, any mistake can lead to goals, so Gala defenders should live up to expectations.

The two toughest matches in the round of 16 will be Chelsea vs PSG and Real Madrid vs Manchester City. While other matches are easy to predict, you will never be able to predict these two matches. We have already seen the Chelsea vs PSG match and their match is also unpredictable. PSG has a chance to take revenge for the FIFA Club World Cup final. Considering the form, both teams can be very competitive against each other.

The Manchester City vs Real Madrid match will be the most exciting. The match will not be between the players, but between the coaches behind the players. On one side is the inexperienced Arbeloa and on the other side is the experienced Pep Guardiola. I would like to see Pep as the winner.

We can not decide that, it is too early to have Arsenal fans this delusional already I think it's too early to see that but they have an easy sides they can bend successfully. Apart from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid other clubs seem like who they will successfully knock out if they play as a big side. Yes, Chelsea will be properly handled now, Luis Enrique has his chance now to defeat them properly. They will prove stubborn again but will face their dismissal. The Madrid versus City and PSG versus Chelsea my favourite.

This round of 16 champions league fixtures are mostly looking like a revenge match for some of the teams facing each other, there are some familiar folks meeting each other again in what promises to be a tough clash. The match between Galatasaray and Liverpool will see Liverpool wanting to revenge for their defeat at Turkey against Galatasaray during the group stage, while the game between Newcastle Against Barcelona will be another game to watch out for as Newcastle will be hoping to take a revenge against Barcelona when Barcelona beat them at home. The most interesting one will be the match between Chelsea and PSG, it’s going to be really tough and PSG still can’t believe how Chelsea defeated them 3:0 in the Club World Cup final and won the trophy at their own expenses, the PSG coach have come out openly after the defeat saying that he would love to face Chelsea again and that shows how painful the club World Cup defeat against him was to him and he’s hoping to take a revenge against Chelsea in this tie. Let’s see if he can get his revenge or end up beaten again because this Chelsea team performs very well in big matches like this

I feel sorry for Galatasaray; being drawn against Liverpool is a huge disadvantage for them, in my opinion. They know each other well; Galatasaray won their previous match against Liverpool. A team like Liverpool, having lost to them before, will play much more aggressively in such a match. They didn't even perform at a very high level in that game.
Liverpool has an incredibly dominant record against Turkish teams. Looking at the scores of their previous victories against other Turkish teams makes one uneasy

Of course, maybe all fans of the 2025-26 Champions League think so, for now we are aware that Arsenal is one of the teams that has a strong ranking, after Chelsea and Real Madrid which is expected, but they are in trouble and can be said to be bad in the round of 16 draw.

I see this season's Champions League as completely different, but considering that now several teams are left to pursue their respective paths to the final, Of course this is a real adventure for the remaining teams and every fan wants to see their team lift the trophy that's for sure, but we'll see on May 30 2026 who will be cheering.
