The only part that I don’t like is Real Madrid vs Manchester City, UEFA should have do better by changing it, Real Madrid and Man City have become like a derby, they always meet every season, Real Madrid will meet Man City two times this season and they have been playing against each other for the past 6 seasons, well, it is what it is, Real Madrid and Manchester City have a big challenge ahead of them because they are going to face Bayern Munich if anyone manage to qualify.

This is the toughest match of round of 16 . The two giants of la liga and premier league are  going to face each other. No team can  be considered less powerful.

There is no doubt that it will be an intense match. But I  think city will win. Real madrid is a strong team but we saw them fight hard against Benfica. Arbeloa is yet to fully strengthen the team. Madrid still  have a lot of internal weaknesses.

Manchester city's performance has now regained some  stability. It will undoubtedly be very difficult for madrid to perform well against Guardiola. Guardiola is a  very experienced and clever coach.

I very well agree with you in this give or take am expecting nothing less than 4 to 5 goals from Arsenal  , coz Arsenal are really in form this season and every single match they have played has been really fun to watch....I also expect Barcelona victory against Newcastle coz definitely Newcastle are no match for them.....But then it so difficult to say the same for other teams in the Round of 16 coz of how competitive it will be....

Yeah, they’re incredibly lucky but still they're the kind of team that pushes that luck away every time they get it  .

Galatasaray vs. Liverpool: Liverpool

From the last game, Galastataray with Juventus, I will have to conclude that Liverpool might make it to the quarterfinals. The Turkish club's defence was so poor that an average English team would have a free day. The last match Galatasaray played with an English club (Manchester City) was on January 28th, and they lost the game. At this stage, any mistake can lead to goals, so Gala defenders should live up to expectations.  

it’s a really tough draw for Galatasaray. While there isn't an astronomical gap between Tottenham and Liverpool, still they would've had a much better chance of going through if they had drawn Tottenham instead...

As for the Real Madrid Vs Manchester City match, I don't even know who will qualify, for me it's a 50 - 50 match and I don't see any favourites among the 2 teams. I checked online and saw how most Chelsea fans are still referring to them beating PSG in the CWC and using that as a yardstick that theu will deal with PSG. I'm not expecting PSG to be dumped out at this stage yet , so I'm expecting a serious fight to keep the hopes of retaining the trophy alive for them. Barcelona will see off Newcastle, I don't see Newcastle as a threat to Barcelona not even for a second.

For this side of the draw, it's quite surprising because indeed Madrid vs Man City happens in the round of 16. If I'm not mistaken, last season it was also like that—they met at the beginning of the knockout stage. It's hard to predict, but this season Madrid is a bit poor, they are quite unstable. Why is everybody talking as if UEFA purposely chose this? Like, they purposely fix Man City and Madrid all the time? It's a draw, they pick and some how, they always meet. If both Man City and Madrid had been in the top 8 or if both of them have been in the bottom 8, they wouldn't have met each other.
Me I cant even complain about the fixture because I like it. Whenever both teams meet, we are alwasy sure of a blockbuster performace and that is what I love. Too bad that it's a certaint that one big club will be elimiated just now.

It's normal to see fans be confidence in their club, besides, PSG is not in the kind of form they were in last season. They struggle a lot. I still have my money on PSG, but Chelsea have a very big chance of seeing off PSG

Barcelona will see off Newcastle, I don't see Newcastle as a threat to Barcelona not even for a second.

This fixture might not be easy as people think. Barcelona, like PSG are not in the kind of form they were in last season and now, a lot of their players are getting injured. A win at home will give Newcastle a lot of momentum. With how Barcelona concedes, Newcastle can get a win at home.

Barcelona's match will be relatively easy compared to the other two matches. Chelsea VS PSG This match can be a very strong fight. Because when Chelsea plays well, they cannot be stopped and they are able to win by a very large margin. If Chelsea is able to play one of the two matches well, then maybe PSG will have a much higher chance of being eliminated.

Real Madrid VS Manchester City This match is on everyone's attention to see what will happen in this match. Because both teams are in very good form and their performance is at the same level. You had the same thoughts as me about Real Madrid and Manchester City meeting. I also feel that this meeting is too early for them, I even hope they meet in the final. But the result is already known that they will meet in this round and all we can do is enjoy the match.

What's more interesting for me is that Manchester City now is not like Manchester City before when they met Real Madrid, we know in the last few seasons they always met and it was always a very interesting match, with a game that was fun to watch with all the drama. Likewise with Real Madrid, at the moment they are still in the process of transition, at least I still think that way.

If Atletico Madrid win against Tottenham and enter the quarter-finals, Barcelona will face a tough challenge. If Barcelona can maintain their performance, they might be able to beat Atletico Madrid. But recent performance says otherwise, when Barcelona faced Atletico Madrid in the last match, Barcelona faced a humiliating defeat.

Even if Barcelona can get through the quarter-finals, they will face their toughest opponent of the season in the semi-finals. However, if Barcelona find their best rhythm, Arsenal will not be a threat to them. Arsenal may not be ready to lose in the semi-finals either. Sadly, I was looking forward to Arsenal vs Barcelona in the final, but now that is not possible. In this case, I would like to see Arsenal play in the final.

Nice draws to me because, looking at the knockout out phase of the champions League the games am seeing here is fair to the teams, except that am not too comfortable with PSG vs Chelsea and also Madrid vs Manchester City meeting at this stage of the competition. These are big teams and should have been drawn against much lesser opponents because, this draw means that two of these big teams will be leaving the competition at this stage which doesn't sound right to me.



But the other games are fair because, for the smaller teams like Bodo Blink and Atlanta this is another advantage because they will have the chance to make it to the next round of the competition. I will really like Bodo Blink to qualify to the next round so that their fairy tail will continue this season, again it will be helpful to them because making it to the quarter finals means that, more revenue for them .

And this time I'm not feeling good things about Real Madrid honestly... They don't have Ancelotti anymore. Xabi Alonso was a good chance for them at least but the chairman sacked him in a short time.

Arsenal's part to the final really looks easy, but this is football and anything can happen,  so I will not say it's an easy part for them to the final. They still have to be on their best if they want to get to the final or even win it. The fixtures looks eat on paper, but they have to do the work on the pitch if they are serious to get to the final.
On the match against PSG and Chelsea,  I think it's going yo be a very interesting match and I also think it's very hard to predict.  The both team can win this match, so I think we should just sit back and enjoy it. The Round of 16 will be tough for every team as we can tell that these teams will play very cautiously for the next round. However, at this stage you are right that the Round of 16 could be very difficult for Chelsea as they will have to face PSG. Last season, Barcelona had an average performance against Inter Milan but it seems that this season their opponent in this crucial round could be PL giants Newcastle. In fact, Newcastle found an easy opponent in Qarabag in the first and second legs of the UEFA Champions League which resulted in them winning there but at this stage we can see that their rivals are the highly trained Barcelona with whom the Premier League side will play the first and second leg matches of the Round of Sixteen.

One side has PSG (who are defending champions by the way, people keep forgetting) Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, City, Bayern. All of them. Together. On one side. And Arsenal gets... Leverkusen who are 21 points behind Bayern in the domestic. It's really unfair the way good Arsenal's side is. Whoever survives that other half is going to be whipped by May. Physically done. Atletico though. Sorloth made a hat-trick in their playoff. They defeated the previous opponents with 7-4 in two legs. That's not a defensive group anymore. Simeone has altered something. And they beat Barcelona four to nil recently in the cup. So if Barca face them in the quarters its not going to be easy, not at all.

What I actually think happens is Bayern Arsenal finale. Both models, both pundits basically everybody is circling that matchup. And Arsenal's biggest weapon against Bayern? Set pieces. Arsenal have scored over twenty set piece goals last year and Bayern defending corners is not good. It's really their weakest thing.

Mbappe is pretty much driving Real Madrid on his own at this point. More than 50 percent of their goals this season are from him. One good defensive game plan and they're toothless.

But the injuries to Arsenal keep me up. Saka, Merino out for months. The squad does get skinny quick in March. That's really the only variable that matters.

If we look at the chart you presented the top clubs on the left are all frequent title winners. The left side could be considered the path to hell, filled with strong teams. Meanwhile, the right side offers an easy path to the final Barcelona ​​who have long been without a Champions League title, and Arsenal who have a very wide path to their first Champions League trophy in history.

I still can't believe how Inter can be eliminated in this way. They were a CL finalist last season. But now they just get eliminated by Bodø/Glimt...

PSG struggled against Monaco like a lot! If it weren't for those red cards in both legs maybe they might have been out now.

Dortmund just looked horrible in the 2nd leg and deserved to be pushed out. Galatasaray were also nearly losing a huge advantage because of playing terrible... What a night that was! 

What a crazy playoff round. It really made us think about impossible things like Inter getting eliminated. But guess what? It actually happened 

A big serie A representative that everyone believed would cruise into the round of 16 ended up falling to a team nobody really expected. Football logic? Gone. Just vibes  Even PSG almost got knocked out by Monaco, a team from their own domestic league! That felt like PSG surviving on pure luck.

So many surprises in the playoffs, now the question is, are we going to see another painful shock in the round of 16? I honestly think yes.

This UCL season is pure chaos and drama.
