The fight for Champions League qualification this year seems to be shaping up very similarly to last season, when there were five teams battling for four spots, and Juventus ultimately secured the last available spot at the expense of Roma. The difference is that this year, there are currently five and a half teams battling for four spots: by half, I'm referring to Como, which is now becoming a certainty, adding confirmation after confirmation, and which could ultimately cause some much more prestigious clubs to struggle.
While I do agree that Juventus and Roma are fighting for it, I would not put Como and certainly not Atalanta there. First of all lets get Atalanta out of there, the fourth place Juventus has 46 points and Atalanta has 39 points, that is a seven point gap and we are not going to see that close at all. Secondly Como has 41 points, which is five points and while that "may" close up, we still have Roma in between, so Como would need both Juventus and Roma to start playing badly at the same time. In my opinion, neither Como nor Atalanta intend to compete in the Champions League. Juventus has a comfortable lead over these two teams, but more than anything else, they will want to use their access to the Europa League, especially Como, which would be its first European experience.

Atalanta would only dream that at this point. But for Como it's much more possible! Why? Because they are closer to top 4. Maybe the gap is 5 points but they have a missing match to play. But as for the main objective, I don't also think that the board is targeting the CL mainly. They would just like to see their team in the race for top 6 now. Joining the CL would be much more extra work.

It's hard to say whether they can win and close the gap to 2 points behind Juventus, though! Milan needs to make up 3 points on Inter, and it won't be easy for Como to beat them. Let's just say that we're at a very delicate point in the championship.

among other things the match against Milan was the famous one, if I'm not mistaken, that they wanted to play in Australia and it's really complex, given that Milan must win otherwise they will fall behind Inter It will be a really difficult and tough match..

Inter players dominate the goals - assists statistics in the league now. Martinez isn't having his best season though but better than the last one. He scored 20+ goals 3 seasons in a row starting by the 21/22 season. Last year went really poor for him with only 12 goals. But this year he has a potential to go over 20 again. And of course Dimarco... He is an amazing left-back. One of the bests in the world currently. Inter is about to extend his contract by 3 more years - until 2030.

Last year was not a particularly prolific one for Lautaro Martinez, both in terms of goals and trophies! But you can have a year where things go wrong sometimes! This season, things are not much better for him either. Although he has scored more goals than last year, his performances leave something to be desired.

Oh God, the championship is still long and two points is not a big gap. Let's remember that we are entering the most complex part of the championship where we also have to deal with the fatigue accumulated between cups and small cups. So now, just a few too many injuries and a team can completely change in terms of performance. While 2 points is not a big gap, 7 is. And that is to think (not sure if it happened or not) with Como playing Juventus, would mean Como needs to win and that would make it only 4 points, if they lose that's 10 points. It's clear that Como and UCL is not on the paper just yet, not this season at least. But that's not bad for Como, they can do it better next season and they can get a great return eventually. What we are missing is that we are dealing with a place that would get better next season and season after that if they keep this growth going.

It normal to see a team who is on the merge win the league to have total dominance on the goal and assist rader, for me that is so because they are simple the best team in the league. Inter Milan are doing well this season and they are not just pulling in points but also they do that with scoring plenty of goals and this season Martinez is having most of those goals. It been a very good season for inter, they struggled a bit when the season started but we can now see how they have manage to put that behind them and they have put themselves top of the league. It is only right right for Lautaro to win the golden boot this season, he has been very impressive and I believe he would be scoring above 20 league goals this season. With the way Chivu set up the team it is very easy for them to create chances and that Also another reason why Dimarco is having a very grand style season too.

This particular trend has been persistent in the Serie A for quite a long period of time, it seems as if it is becoming a tradition in the Italian league for several clubs to be contending for the Champions League spot or the Europa league spot too, Perhaps it is such competition that makes this part of the season very interesting as these contending clubs fight for spots to enable them have a place in the elite European competitions.

While it's true that the possibility of Como being in the top four is there, it's unlikely and while they will of course fight until the very last game, they are not good enough to actually do it.
Sure, beating Napoli made them look like they are good but the reality is that we are talking about a team that will not be doing wonders for the long term and for the reasons why they lost this many points so far and became sixth, it's clear that the same reasons will keep them at the sixth position as well. Maybe if they are super lucky they could reach five, but not four because that is too far away and there are two teams ahead of them who are doing that so it is not going to be easy for them to do this at all.

Milan managed to return victorious from their away match against Pisa. Leading 1-0 in the first half, Milan secured the win in the final minutes of the second half with a goal from Luka Modric. This victory reduced the points gap with Inter to five. Pisa's chances of staying in the league this season are dwindling. They are currently bottom of the table with 15 points, having played one game more than others, and if they want to stay in the league, they need to lose fewer points from this week onwards. A match that could determine the fate of the league awaits us. Inter will host Juventus at home. Although Inter are the favourites, Juventus' potential to win this match should not be overlooked. If Juventus win, they will equal Napoli's points with a game in hand. Looking at the last matches between the two teams, we cannot say that either team has a clear advantage.
