80+ and the Super Falcons are in the lead. From here, i believe we have made it into the next round of the competition, and 4i also hope the Falcons don't play the rest of their matches underating their opponents.
 
At this time of writing, the Falcons have made the score 4-1 in their favor, a huge win for Nigeria.

Zambia has won Malawi 2-1 to finish first in group C, while Nigeria is currently winning Egypt 6-2 as of the time I'm writing this comment. The Super Falcons will be through to the next stage of the competition by the end of the match. After all the suspense and calculations, our girls have made us proud.

I always knew Zambia were big trouble, we were lucky to get a win against them with a red card. They have one of the sharpest attackers in this tournament Barbra Banda and she’s leading the goal charts by 5goals already.
I never doubted our girls for one second, I just knew they were tough and going to make it, they have more grit and determination than their male counterparts. Though there were some lapses against Egypt which they have to work on before their next game in the knockout round.
Malawi may likely qualify if there’s room for best losers, or their case wil just be a case of Arsenal….. lol.

I have not been following up the women competition, i watched highlights of last matches that has already been played and i saw that fans are not even much on the stadium, why is women competition always like this, majority of people don’t even take it serious why is it always like that? I know this are the questions some women may always ask. For me the reason is because men professional football has had over a century to build loyal fan bases but women’s professional football is much younger in many countries and has not built loyal fans and lastly cultural attitudes. This are the reasons why attraction is not seen in women tournaments.

There's just a difference between the super eagles and the super falcons. Honestly I don't enjoy watching the ladies play cause it's boring. Except they have an important game play like tournaments, I don't think I can spend time following up their seasons or stuffs like that. Most reason people don't show show interest in the females sport is that they don't put up an interesting show. They games always looks like low efforts and even some females don't enjoy watching their own gender playing cause it's boring. Though we have some good female players that aren't entirely bad. But people just prefer watching mens football because of it's years of entertainment in the world of football compared to that of the ladies..

I don’t know for you but those games aren’t boring at all, it depends on how you’re watching it. You wouldn’t use the same expectations of a male game to judge them.

The Nigerian female team gives me much joy than the male team and I believe it’s so for most Nigerian fans cause of the many silverwares they’ve brought home.

For a lot of guys who say it’s boring, you’re entitled to your opinion but that’s not why they don’t have crowds. The female tournaments don’t get as much adverts, sponsors, televising and much support as the men’s tournaments. There’s entertainment and drama with the women’s tournaments even more than the men at times.

The calculation started with Zambia, Nigeria and Malawi and Egypt has been eliminated since they don't have any point.
Malawi beat beat Nigeria 3-2. Malawi 3 points. Nigeria beat Zambia 1-0. Nigeria got 3 points. At this stage Zambia has no points. Please understand. And Zambia beat Malawi 2-1 in yesterday match and Zambia got 2 points in the match and Malawi got 1 points in the match. Now as Malawi add the 1 points to the former 3 points as they beat Nigeria, they got 4 points and Nigeria still standing with their 3 points and they beat Zambia 1-0. That is the H2H.

Over 5.5 was around 2 odds, it was feasible because Egypt has been conceding many goals since they lost their first match to Zambia by 6:0. Perhaps, the Super Falcons was hoping to score many goals in order to qualify through goals difference since Zambia and Malawi had 6 points each. You never believed that the Super Falcons will qualify because I saw where you almost enter into a bet of 50k with a user that they won't qualify.

I almost lost hope on our ladies because losing the first match and then struggle to win the second match is not a good stats for a defending champions. I'm satisfied with this tremendous win against Egypt ladies despite their flaws. Their performance may not be great to watch but the scoreline is great.

The number of goals you score is what matters in the competition because that's what qualify you to advance to next stage. As usual, I hope they become champions.

Working on the defense is important because the Super Falcons will be meeting a very physically strong Cameroonian side. The match against Malawi exposed the defensive loopholes. I thought coach Justine Madugu have corrected the blunder after they defended for more than 50 minutes after Oluwatosin Demehin was red-carded in the game against Zambia. Allowing a poorly performing Egyptian side to score two goals shows that the defense is still not in good form. 

I hope they are aware that they need to get to the semi-finals to qualify for the World Cup. So they should take the next game very seriously and avoid defensive mistakes.

Well,  I think they are aware of this and they know what is at stake.
Their last few games aside the losses were a walk in the park now they are going to play a team that is as hungry and goal driven as them and if they don’t put up their best and fix their weaknesses which their opponents already they, they will capitalize on it and truncate whatever dream of winning they have so far conceived, thereby disappointing not only themselves but the fans.

Congratulations to the Super Falcons, they were amazing tonight. It took me a while to finally understand how the qualification system works, now I wish I had accepted Igebotz’s 50k bet lol. Congratulations to Malawi as well for advancing to the next round of the tournament, unfortunately despite their amazing performance in the WAFCON, Zambia are out of the tournament.

I feel the Super Falcons would learn to never take any team for granted after now because they were very close to getting kicked out l because they underestimated Malawi. It was a crazy game yesterday, consisting of four penalty shout-out, three for Nigeria and one for the Egyptians. I noticed that even though they weren't going anywhere, they were very excited to get goals from Nigeria.
A total of 15 goals was what Egypt conceded across their three games and honestly I feel bad for them because this was a tournament they hoped to get something out of being that it was their fist time competing since 2016.

Honestly I was not expecting such an amazing wins from the Super Falcons that yesterday it was really a delight for me as well, now they have really responded like champions as well, the opening shock was what we did not see coming and it was a big shock for Malawi…and was still trying to believe that the loss was a wake-up call for Malawi, and since then it has been them locking in now…Now I fully understand what it means never to underestimate anyone in this life because you never can tell when the big wins comes your way most times..from their ends and would add that Malawi had the mindset of a champion from the very beginning…still on bigger respect to both teams, both teams tried their possible best but nevertheless there is always a winner….

The most important thing is that they got the needed victory that was needed which will see them qualifying for the next round of the competition. There is room for improvement in this team especially in the defense, the defense looked shaky whenever the opponents were on the Nigerian defense lineup. There was a lot of plunders which was visible and the coach has not been able to do anything about this defensive problem. From the first game till the last match that the super Falcons has played it becoming obvious that the weakest position of the team.


Let's see how they will play their Next openent in the knockout stage, but with the way this team is playing we should not put too much hopes on, this team because am not too convinced about what am seeing this team play. I had some faith they could bang in goals against Egypt, but not up to 6 though. That's serious business. I guess 10 stars on a badge is not a joke and now I believe they can go all the way to the final. But seriously, they started this competition poorly. It felt like they underestimated Malawi in their first match and that had a negative effect on them. They looked shaky and unsure. But now, their confidence looks fully back. The goals are flowing and they're playing with that swagger again.

Maybe they thought the other teams would respect them or be scared of them because of how they have dominated this competition. But no one is here to play, everybody wants to win it. In fact, it looks like all the teams want to stop them from winning it for the eleventh time.

To be fair this entire qualification issue was so confusing even for the commentators. We couldn’t be 100% sure of who was going to advance to the quarterfinals until CAF made the announcement.

For those who missed the Nigeria’s game yesterday, I recommend you watch the highlights or the entire match if you can. The girls were incredible, they displayed a level of quality that I would like to see in Super Eagles.

I said if Zambia wins with a big margin like 2-0, 3-1, and 4-2 which is a 2 goal margin them Zambia would qualified but if it is 1 goal margin them Zambia would be gone and that was what happened. Everyone who was following the match would testify that Zambia was in good position to beat Malawi yet they still beat them only the goal margin disqualified them.

But to be honest their performances wasn’t that bad in their yesterday match against Egypt. I was very impressed with their performances, because with how their performances went in their first match they struggled to the drew the match which is why I didn’t expect them to turn up against Egypt, but with there much efforts they where able to win the match with a great goals.

We hope they keep with that their performances in that way so that they can qualify to the next stage, they shouldn’t later fuck up at the end of day, since that’s how their the Nigeria super eagles always do they can match start the tournament with a wonderful performances, and they will failed to advance to the next round of competition.

The Nigerian super falcons destroyed Egypt 6-2 to progress to the Wafcon quarter-finals, guess I was wrong. I doubted them too much in my mind to even fathom how they would qualify, but they ended up performing seamlessly. Seemed like light work for them as they didn't feel threatened in anyway.

Egypt defended tightly in the first half, but they suddenly lost possession and struggled more to defend against every goal that went it. Like in most cases, they became aggressive and the penalties were an advantage for the falcons. For the records, they have lost 3 matches in a row and won't qualify. Meanwhile, Nigeria needs to keep an eye on Zambia and Malawi.

The performance of the Super Falcons after they played two matches made a lot of people to lose hope on them, so I won't blame you for doubting them but it's good as they destroyed Egypt by scoring six goals against them, this win will help the Super Falcons to believe themselves and do better in their next match against Cameroon in the quarter finals which will take place on the 9th of this month.

One thing I adore about them is that they consistently perform exceptionally well, and I am impressed by their performance because, to some extent, I think that when it comes to the Super Falcon, they will always make us proud. They are much more dedicated to their games, and I am impressed with how they put a smile on their faces. It may not be exactly what we want to see, but let's see if things change eventually. The way things are going, they have a better chance of winning the trophy because they will win regardless, nothing is given me more confidence than the way they are so committed I just love the super falcon because they are in charge and they are ready to do everything in there power to Make us proud as a nation that's just amazing.
