It could be that Malawi might win this trophy and it will be a historic event for them that on their first appearance, the won the WAFCON as the new women champions of African football. Do you not think it is symbolic. They started by winning the women champions of  African football to getting to the finals and lifting trophy as the new winner's of WAFCON.
Also, it would be an express ticket to the world cup tournament for them by the virtues of them winning the WAFCON. This is what we have been longing for yet the last opportunity for our girls to clinch to the ticket, they messed up. Anyways this is not the end of the tournament, there would be another next season and I hope it goes well with our female national team.

Malawi's hope of winning the WAFCON in their first appearance has been dashed. Cameroon have shown that they are the better side, scoring three goals. Ngah Manga got a brace while the third goal was scored by Eto. I was thinking about the potency of the Chawinga sisters, who have been dangerous in most of their games. But they have not made much impact today. It would take a miracle for the Malawian side to get back into the game. It's great that the Indomitable Lionesses are winning this WAFCON for the first time after finishing as runners-up three times.

The WAFCON that started with the unfavourable opinions on Cameroon in wining the trophy has turn out that the season was actually for the first time in favour of them, it wasn't a goal they got easily but they actually saw far more challenging matches they didn't imagine but conquering is what they never hesitated. Malawi was below my thoughts in them because having been on several stages they were fierce enough to be strong against any country but on this match I couldn't believe what I was seeing because they were always on a dangerous attacks at every possession of Cameroon. I was engaged with some serious activities so I didn't calm down to watch the match it was  after I was done with what I was doing at hand so I had to re watched the match very well and I also played some of the highlights of the match in youtube. The three goals that malawi conceded was a defensive error and it was their fault. Their defense was too porous that is why Cameroon was able hit their goal post and scored three goals.
Cameroon missed several goals chances in an attempt to score because if they had utilise their chances I think they could have scored more than that three goals. Malawi that I rooted my support for really disappointed me, I don't know what came over them that they couldn't play well against the Cameroon to an extend that they concede three goals.

Both teams have been good in this WAFCON, reaching the final of the competition should tell you so. The two best female footballing nations in Africa (Nigeria and Morocco) happened to get eliminated by Cameroon, meanwhile Malawi had earlier beaten Nigerias super Falcons in their first leg during the group stages and Malawi finished top of the group ahead of Nigeria, that should show you how good they have been in this tournament. But from what Giftedman is saying about experience I think he’s quite right also because this happens to be Malawi’s first appearance in the WAFCON, Cameroon In the other hand have played multiple WAFCON and have also played in different finals before now so you can see that they have more experienced players in terms of WAFCON appearances and final ahead of Malawi which I really thinks is what gave them an edge against Malawi. I have been following the tournament from the onset of it. Malawi is good but Kamerun is going to beat them and with the trophy. However from the both sides. Malawi has a strong striking forces but lack strong defense and goalkeeper but Cameroon has strong defense with good goalkeeper weak striking force. Now what makes a football team outstanding is the striking force. But if the weak strikers struggle to enter a weak defense area, that is a goal.

The overall performance of the two teams are all good but tactically Cameroon has the winning chances in the final match.

This was my prediction before the final match and what I said came to pass. Cameroon defense was very strong that Malawi could could not penetrate and the average strikers in Cameroon were attacking Malawi goalpost and finally gave them 4-0 which a remarkable performance from Cameroon yesterday. Temwa Chawinga tried her best but Cameroon defense was too good to penetrate. She was the player who cried after the match.

I knew they had the potential to win it after frustrating the Super Falcons, i love how tough their defense was but their goal keeper impressed me more she was the major reason why Cameroon went that far cause if not for her the Super Falcons would've kicked them out in the quarter-finals and they won't get the opportunity to play in the finals.

Malawi really tried too, i didn't know they'll be this tough in the tournament, such display and performance by them was expected from Morocco and Nigeria but they outplayed Nigeria in the group stage and made it to the finals. The Malawi and Cameroon teams performed very well. If you ask me, I would have preferred the Malawi team to win but in every competition there must be a winner and the winner takes it all. So far this year tournament is a remarkable one entirely for WAFCON and both teams that played the finals.
Malawi on their first appearance were able to win the champions till they got to the finals so far in the football history, it is rare to see such a scenario play out like that. At least they got automatic ticket to the world cup as the second runner-up for the first time in history to feature in the WAFCON. It is a big fit they have achieved so far and it will forever be on record for them.

As for Cameroon, their long trophy draught is over, the tenure of their football president Samuel Eto'o has been characterised with issues but he has finally been vindicated to be able to lead and head their football body and under his watch they lifted the WAFCON tournament trophy and this is a victory well achieved for him.

Cameroon were in the thick of the action in the African Cup of Nations League tournament and we think they were able to defeat the newcomers Malawi team very easily 3-0 in this tournament. Obviously, they've joined the list as champions of African Women Football but I don't think any other team can be able to surpass the records of the Super Falcons in the history of African Women Football. They've created a niche for themselves so even if they failed to defend their title this just concluded tournament, they still remain a top force to contend with in the history of African Women Football. I believe they would bounce back better and stronger next tournament.
