Cameroon tried in this WAFCON they put on a good fight . If not for Cameroon the Nigerian females would have won WAFCON 2026 . They would have show Malawi more pepper than the way Cameroon did , Malawi collected 3 goal from Cameroon which is a good gab , if at all the Nigerian female league are still trying compare to the male hopefully they will do better next time .
Haha…bro I guess the word you just said “show Malawi more pepper” this is very funny I see where you are heading with this anger in you…Which I would say you are right about Cameroon i think they really came to fight in this WAFCON because it was clear from the start…When I was watching the recap Malawi really did defended her home well in so many patches, but it was so obvious that the Cameroon pepper would not even allow that to happen and their attack was too much 3-0 like in my side we call this a solid gap for 3-0… The most painful one is that Cameroon pepper guys hadn't stopped the Super Falcons the Nigerian would have probably run high on them like truth be told the Falcons have been queens of WAFCON. They have depth, speed, and that winning mentality….even the government knows that the Nigerian women's league is trying harder than the men's in every where

Both teams have been good in this WAFCON, reaching the final of the competition should tell you so. The two best female footballing nations in Africa (Nigeria and Morocco) happened to get eliminated by Cameroon, meanwhile Malawi had earlier beaten Nigerias super Falcons in their first leg during the group stages and Malawi finished top of the group ahead of Nigeria, that should show you how good they have been in this tournament. But from what Giftedman is saying about experience I think he’s quite right also because this happens to be Malawi’s first appearance in the WAFCON, Cameroon In the other hand have played multiple WAFCON and have also played in different finals before now so you can see that they have more experienced players in terms of WAFCON appearances and final ahead of Malawi which I really thinks is what gave them an edge against Malawi. But heads up Malawi, first WAFCON, first Final. If they continue like this with the help of the Chawingas sisters scoring goals for fun they might end up becoming one of the best female footballing team in Africa. Meanwhile I’m equally tipping Temwa Chawinga of Malawi to win The WAFCON Balon Dior.
Malawi beats Super Falcons in their first match of the just concluded WAFCON, they beats Egypt in their second match, and lost to Zambia in third match and they went further to beat Ghana in the quarter finals and beat Algeria in the semi finals they didn't lack experience but when they lost to Cameroon in the final all of a sudden they lack experience. Like I said in the comment you quoted, what made Malawi to lose to Cameroon is not lack of experience but one of those things where football won't favor a team no matter the dominance of that team in a football match.

In this years WAFCON the super falcons were the team to beat and any team that get a win after playing them, surely had their confidence boosted to a very high percentage, the girls were a central bank of come play us, if you get a win then you go to the final because a win against us takes you to a different level, Malawi play and go a win so did Cameroon and both got to the finals and the better team won. And what we call experience is something that is learned after not during a process, which is why it is called experience in the first place. So it doesn’t matter in this case because all that happen was that the better and more committed team won, but kudos to Malawi they had a very good tournament and they showed that they are not to be joked with.

After the Tournament this week, Justine Madugu and his entire crew members were sacked for not making the Super Falcons qualify in the Women World Cup and also failure to play the final in the WAFCON. Having mot qualifying in the both tournament is disappointing. At least they would have played the final or qualify in the world cup but nothing. Why I brought this is because with this restructuring of the crew, the Super Falcons will performance well in the next season tournaments. The drawing board now is who is coming. They should remove politics from the selection of crew members of the team. And brought experienced people to be in the crew. And another thing again the prompt payment of allowances to motivate players and management team. As for Cameroon, yesterday when the Indomitable Lionesses were celebrating, I celebrate with them from here. Congratulations to them. They deserve the trophy, they fought to get the trophy.

Congratulations to Cameroon on their historical win. At least WAFCON now have new champions. Cameroon really had a rough and tough start though but they were persistent not only them Malawi made a very grand entry into the tournament and their performances was something else. Although they are new to the trophy if I am not mistaken but they also played well like they've been playing the tournament for long. They also deserve some accolades for their efforts in reaching the WAFCON finals. This shows they could go along way in football since they in this tone.
The interesting part of it is Cameroon had lost three finals since they started the WAFCON competition and in what will look like the fourth one for them to have lost again, they ended up winning it with a very good margin of 3 goals to none against the Malawi side. Now the guys are more happier than ever to have being the team to have brought this land mark victory to the team for the first time. I expect to see the country to welcome them in a grand styling way including the president of the country so it encourages them to do more and the men’s team should also learn from this to work harder when they participate in the next competition of the AFCON and the World Cup in general. The Cameroon women's team has reached the final four times since the WAFCON competition began, and we previously noted that they were defeated by the Nigerian women's team in the first three final matches but I congratulate this team for winning their first trophy by defeating Malawi in the final of the 2026 African Cup of Nations League. In fact the two women's teams that reached the finals in this tournament reached that round through great perseverance and hard work but in my opinion in that glorious match, the Cameroon team was fearless, as a result of which they were able to score three goals against the Malawi team with great aggression. On the other hand it seems that the Malawi team has also set a record as they are coming to this tournament for the first time, they even surprised everyone by qualifying for the finals on their debut tournament and played every match with great discretion in this tournament. The both teams came prepared most especially the Cameroonian team, they had reached finals trice but ended up with second position which I believe they really did not want to experience again hence their preparedness to win their matches all through to the finals. Like you said, they persevered and played deligently to making sure they reached the finals. At least they broke the record of being trophyless over the years and that is a good one for them. They have done well as their name is being entered as the fourth African country to lift the WAFCON trophy while Nigeria is still leading them all. Malawi really took every one by surprise. A team that got featured for the first time showed sucs an enthusiasm right from the very first match and the made their way through to the finals and also got a world cup ticket automatically. This is really a record breaking event for the Malawian team to have gone this far in the WAFCON tournament. This means they could possibly lift the trophy next tournament if the maintain and put more effort in their performance.

But was there even need for the NFF to sack Super Falcons crew members just because they didn't win the WAFCON and didn't qualify for 2027 Women's World Cup. The NFF that sacked those crew members are they different? I even read from J.J Okocha that the NFF is still owning some allowances and hotel debts. He even went further to state that the Super Eagles do not have a campsite. How do the expect crew members to dispose their duties when most of them have unpaid salaries. The drawing board now is who is coming. They should remove politics from the selection of crew members of the team. And brought experienced people to be in the crew. And another thing again the prompt payment of allowances to motivate players and management team.
We should not even expect anything different from the new crew members that they will employ because it will still be same story. The NFF is known for corrupt practices and it baffles me that nobody checkmate the activity of the NFF. No quality funding from the NFF to the National team both men and Women but the NFF receives allocation from the federal government.

It's really got the Super Falcons this time around the hardware, that is football and anything is possible to happen, but this does not also downgrade on their ability to do better than next time because they've been having a well performing history before now, there is still high confidence with the Super Falcons to play well anytime the encounter facing is strong opposition in their matches, after all, football is just for fun and everyone is doing their best to ensure the muscle with how they play by improving more than your previous performance.

I repeat, he deserves to be sacked after watching the worst performance ever. The Super Falcons were clueless, not tactical brilliancy from the coach. He was clueless as well. Coaches should be able to instruct the team when the game get difficult for them. They are responsible for finding solution for a must win.

Yes, no matter what he achieved last year, that's not a good reason for the way they played in the just concluded tournament in the WAFCON. Failing to secure a place in the women's world cup is not good for the 10 times WAFCON champions. What lies ahead is the choice of the coaching crew the NFF will select. The problem is that they will still use politics in everything which will influence the team negatively in the coming tournament. Truth be told, Justin Madugu has really done well but his inconsistency is not bearable. With the game they played against Zambia, you will discover that the team has the resources to perform better but needed little managerial push to go beyond the Cameroonians. Let's see who the next coach will be.

That was the action I wanted to see from the NFF and it was good they sacked him because is still shocking to everyone how the most outstanding team could not be on their best this season, even if Justine Madugu has been with the super falcon before as the assistant coach but since be became their head of coach I don't see much impact from him to the club because it was only one WAFCON he won while the rest of the trophies came from another coaches so actually considering that this year has never happened to the super Falcons, Justine Madugu should be considered the worst coach of Nigeria super Falcons.

Now he has been sacked, what next, good decision as it is hot, is just that another bad decision might take his place, I don't know why I don't trust our system. Honestly it is embarrassing that super falcons couldn't reach the finals, the defending champions defeated by a team that's not their equals, despite fighting back to see if they could get an equalizer goal or even win, there was something about that match that got my attention, the good side is supposed to force attack very early so that pressure will be on their underrated opponent, I think Cameroon coach was better because he managed the situation well which is the reason i support the sack of Justine madugu.

Even if the NFF sacks Madugu and his technical Crew, what's the replacement? My fear is this, this move the NFF has made will give rise to more corrupt practices in the Falcon's because they would want to decide things for the team just like the way they had messed up the super Eagles before Coach Chelles took over. Currently Chelles is fixing the damage done to the super Eagles and has been able to revive the team and now the same NFF want to mess up the super Falcons with this move they made by sacking the head coach. What is the replacement? That is just my curiosity about their move.
