The rate at which corruption have cover every aspect of Nigerian systems is just alarming. I do notice this in the men's tournaments too, there was a time that they players did not want to play their semi final because they were owed the previous allowances and they were not paid, such a thing is a disgrace for a country like Nigeria, how do they intend to inspire the young ones to make use of their talents to raise the reputation of the nation, The super falcons may not play well because of this same reason you mentioned, I can't doubt that, it's possible and they will need to do better so that talents can be well appreciated and this is one of the reasons why we lose so many talents to other countries because we are not motivating them to come and play for their country. I will beg to disagree with you, one thing you must understand is the fact that most of the players in the Super falcons are European based players, so it is not as if it is because of match bonuses that has made them to perform poorly, even before now when we used to win the Wafcon there where times that they had delayed bonuses and allowance, but then they still went on to win the tournament. So my point is that we had a poor outing regardless of what NFF has done. However as for the NFF I heard the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria has given the NFF President and his crew members 24 hours to resign from their job, they've underperformed and they don't need to stay on that job.

My only worry is that will the case eventually get to the bottom? We know our country Nigerian. Corrupt and cruel. The said EFCC must have been aware of this for long before it accumulated to 12 billion naira. That is already a lot of hard work money lending distribution to players.

I think this is even better, at least even if they are left unpolished, as they will learn to be accountable for every penny that is allocated to them. The Super Eagle management also needs to be investigated because there is mismanagement of funds. The reason why the players are not giving their best could be that they are not treated well by the management. Why do they expect the players to perform well when they didn’t pay them their wages, it’s definitely going to demoralize them. Yes the Super Falcons had a disappointing performance at the WAFCON they didn’t play as we know them to and didn’t get the opportunity to qualify directly for the World Cup but all hope is lost now after the defeat to South Africa. This is going to be the first edition of the Women’s World Cup without the super Falcons.
I don’t think we’ve had that much influence at the World Cup though, we’re always Africa’s best but times are changing now. The Falcons will have to try Again another time.

Do you know because of Super Falcons miss of qualifying for the World Cup, the NFF had to reshuffle the Super Falcons management team.

It's unfortunate, that the Super Falcons had to missed out in the world cup after participating in every women's world cup since 1991. Their missed out on 2027 after losing 2-1 to South Africa in the WAFCON playoff in August this year is what the NFF can take up because it's like the ended their 35 years unbroken run of qualification

Even though the Super Falcons were paid their allowances and bonuses they would have still performed poorly in the just concluded Women's African Cup of Nations, so I won't say their poor performance was because they didn't receive their allowances and bonuses. Kudos to the EFCC for looking into the well being of the Super Falcons and uncovered how the NFF misused the money meant for the Super Falcons, once they are done with their investigation they should charge those involved in the act to court for proper action to be taking against them.
