Unfortunately female football don't always get publicized like the men football, most times a competition would already be started before you get to hear that something like that is going on, lack of proper publicity is the major reason, another reason is that many football fans don't have interest in women's football especially women themselves. If a lot of women have interest in football and support female football I believe that their tournaments and leagues will be widely discussed but we know that most women are more interested in fashion.

I also believe that we cannot judge our falconet that they are an unserious team or blame the NFF yet for their lose to a world class Spanish team,  2 : 0 is a lose but not a humiliating like 5 : 0 or something like that, we have seen teams that lost their first game but went all the way to win the competition. Although I didn't watch the match but I think we should give them the benefits of doubt to prove themselves in their next games before passing our judgments.

Publicity isn't the cause of low attention in the female competition. This is because if you're following up football, you will know the latest updates in football. One thing, I believe is the problem is lack of interest by football lover on female competitions because we believe that they cannot give us the thrill and excitement we want. Another thing is gamblers, they hardly bet on matches that they have little knowledge on.

If not for your post I don’t even know that any match is going on today. Mostly people don’t take women football so serious, and this is under 20 I don’t even think anyone will be interested in it, and the match is not even broadcasted in any of my local TV stations, so people won’t be able to watch the match. I just checked now and I noticed that the match ended as 2-0, Nigeria lost to Spain in the match. Nigeria next match is going to be against china, I will try and watch the match, let’s see if we will be able to get a win in the match.

What are you even saying? Where have you seen where women sport get the same hype as men sport? Now I want you to understand something about entertainment is not just about strength or speed just as you put it, about the storyline much investment and how much media puts it in our faces.

The WNBA, Women’s World Cup, Tennis when they get proper coverage and money, people watch. 2023 Women’s World Cup final had 2 billion viewers globally.

Yes, government and we fans are also part of the problem with NPFL and U20. But to say the reason is “not entertaining” ignores that we never gave women’s sports the same platform to grow. If we start watching, sponsors come, quality improves, then hype follows.

If this is about the government of Nigeria not doing anything about the women football, have you seen them put interest in anything before? even if they released money for necessary actions to be taken, there won't be proper monitoring, for that, those that the money are released to, end up embezzling the funds, the country sports is not well organized, and it is effecting both the men and women teams, Nigeria is facing a problem of everything been directed to politics, I think that's our major problem, many things has been neglected and it makes everything steadily worse.

Congratulations to Alex Iwobi on his historic achievements in the English Premier League. Alex is one of the few players who had the option of playing for another country, yet the choose Nigeria. I heard one English commentator claim that Alex would have played for the Three Lions if he had been a little bit patient.  

I am proud that the Fulham player decided to choose the Super Eagles even with all the ups and downs. He said there are times Super Eagles players have had to pay their own flight and hotel bills. I wish him more fruitful years in the EPL and the national team.

This is really a big achievement for him and I can still remember when he was playing for Arsenal, one of their best forward at that time and was a good starter for them. I thought he had lost his spark long ago but after seeing his performance since the time he has been playing for Fulham, one can say that he’s still a dependable player and have a very big future ahead of him even though his age won’t warrant him to remain in the football arena for that long again. His contributions to the super Eagles of Nigeria is immeasurable, I applaud his dedication to the welfare other the team always.

I think Iwobi is getting better in football just as he’s aging. The way he play and understands the game now is different from his Arsenal days. He have added some composure and technical ability to his game. Despite coming from a serious criticism after the Afcon final lost to Ivory Coast in the year 2023 and since then he has really improved his game and become a mainstay in the super eagles midfield and Fulham. Currently Iwobi is the only reliable Midfielder in super eagles and believe me if he decides to retire from the super eagles today I don’t think there’s any of the current midfielders in super eagles team that can replace him.

Alex Iwobi have really improved and I believe the criticism made him to improve significantly after the afcon final and now he has taken that place in the afcon first 11. We can also see his performance in the last afcon, how he was able to really manage the midfield efficiently and distribute passes to the forwards to score goals and with this form, he will be a great addition in the coming afcon tournament because Nigeria needs him in this tournament and for Fulham, they have to themselves a very good player that's willing to improve and bring out his best in very way possible

I don't know what to say again on this because where on earth in Europe or Sports love country this kind recommendation would happened. Before Martines made that recommendation, Seyi must have put his interest and tell him (Martins) to support him and brown envelope has been given to him. As a retired footballer, he needs money for survival since nothing is coming again.

And I don't know why the former international players of the country can't come to those positions to help the NFF. Martins can become the president of the organization, Jay Jay is there,  Kanu and others are there. Eto'o was their play mate in the football history and he is heading Cameroon Football Federation and he is doing well. This is not a coaching jobs but to give directives and utilize the funds that are coming to the organization. Yet they are distancing themselves and allowing unprofessionals to mismanaged the institution. There was a time some of the former international players said they can't come to the NFF because it corruption is too high but now it is the opportunity for them to come in.

I actually have,  I have seen them put interest and show support when election time is very close, and also when they want to borrow money from the world bank or another country. They are very good at that.

When the Super Falcons were playing well, has there ever been interest in the sports from women? that should be the first question that you should ask yourself. Because women interest in sports will not be instant, the government has to make it enticing for them. Women do not normally like sports or extreme physical activities, their interest is else where.

You're right that everyone has the liberty to support who they choose but just think this situation through, supporting someone that is not into sports to become the NFF president is a very absurd thing to do. That is a work of an asslicker and attention seeker, if there is another word to qualify what Obafemi Martins just did, then that is what it is.

You're right; personally, I don't support someone who doesn't have any football experience or who is not knowledgeable about things of football to hold such an office, and that's why we're getting things wrong in this part of the world. I don't even know what happened to our legendary footballers and why they are not being giving or appointed for such positions or is that themselves are not willing, I expected the likes of Okocha them, Nwakwo Kanu, Sunday Oliver, Taribo west all these men with experience to have seen them partake if at they don't want the coaching and pass down their experiences.

We all know that Martins is already out of film and trying to seek public attention with the vice president's son's interest upon himself for such endorsement, and we shouldn't be surprised saying that this may eventually come to be if Sheyi Tinubu truly has interest in it, all that is needed is for them to bribe other NFF officials to get their support and emerge to the position, anything is possible as long as you wish to achieve it except this is just a public enticement that they are using to catch Cruise when they don't really mean it, as we see it.

The U20 women's national team is not different from there senior team in terms of getting support from the federal government because they also receives it, but however if the government have not consider the importance of TV shows for bigger leagues in the country is it an U20 women they would consider. Nigeria U20 women performance is always within there league in Africa but when they come to U20 women's World Cup that's were you will see there limitations, so actually even if you still believe that after losing to Spain U20 women is not game over for them but you will definitely realize soon.

Eguavoen Austin has been offered the job of being an interim coach for the Nigerian super Falcons. But my question is, why do they always like to give Austin whenever they've failed with their hiring of expatriate from other countries or whenever they have bad result from supposed choice they've gotten, so Eguavoen Austin is only Good at interim basis not permanent contract. Because with the kind of coaches we've had in recent times, you could visibly see that Austin has a better understanding of the Nigerian football organization and pattern of play and he is even way more experience compared to some of these guys they are bringing.

Alex didn't have a good time at Arsenal, but Fulham is where we've seen the best of Alex Iwobi, and I am sincerely happy for the player. There was no interest for Fulham to sell him during this transfer opening, that means the team values his contribution, and he's been playing up to Premier League standard.

Alex Iwobi is not an injury-prone player, of course, he will be available for the qualifiers stage of the AFCON tournament.

Forget about the Nigerian football and also anything that relate to the Nigerian women soccer. The government is not really to do the right thing and that is why we have been seeing lapses everywhere. The officials that are supposed to do the right thing and make sure that the allocation given to them is all spent, they are busy making sure they embezzle funds that are meant for players development and sponsorship and development of the society. Those stealing money from the NFF are doing that proudly and they are not being prosecuted for their corruption, instead they are given higher slot and bigger positions where they will eat and steal.

If I were him, I wouldn't accept this offer because the NFF has seeing him as an alternative coach for any emergency. Why can't they offer him full time coaching job. Okay after now they will bring another person to replace him again. Though he will do well to revive the Super Falcons. The football section in all ramifications is suffering. From the Super Eagles to Golden Eagles and to the Falconets.

This will hit NFF hard again. There will be a great change in the Nigeria Football Association this year. There were just there to embezzled funds and not to build any infrastructure for the development of sports or to strengthen the institution. You can see from the image below.

Actually mate is an offer nobody will reject and besides he has know right to decide on what mood they're supposed to sign him, is not like I'm happy with the interim coach they offer him but based on how this things works he will not complain about it since they would also pay him a lot of money for his services, however is already obvious that the NFF is only going to be using him on this specific role because this is not Eguavoen Austin first time as an interim coach in our national team but if he doesn't want it they will look for another temporary coach since they don't have much concern about the performance growth of the team.
