I admit it took me a few minutes to process what I was seeing; I actually thought this was a very safe bet—of course, I only wagered a small amount because I don't trust international matches but I didn't expect to see what I saw. This was my bet:



All I could think was: "How is it possible that those guys from Nigeria couldn't score a single goal and conceded three while playing against Guinea-Bissau?" In their last 20 matches, Guinea-Bissau had only won three times and the most shocking part is that they beat Nigeria by three goals to nil. What shocks me even more is that my country, for instance, has never lost a match against Guinea-Bissau. I know that back in 2023, Guinea-Bissau beat Nigeria 1–0, but I never imagined they would lose again and fail to score once more. Besides Nigeria's defeat, another big team also lost; I am referring to the following matches:

This is a typical super eagles performance that we saw today, if I say that am surprised about this performance I saw today then am not saying the truth. Because right from the first leg which was played in Nigeria it was obvious that the super eagles of Nigeria lacked that urgency and quality to perform. This Nigeria national team lacks inspiration from every indications it obvious that there is no drive in the part of the players. But even in the first leg we have to come back from a goal behind to win. But conceiving three unreplied goal against the opponents that we came against is not a good one. This only goes to show how low that, the super eagles of Nigeria has  become. Not even scoring a single goal.

Before Nigeria gae starts, let see some of the matches of the day. Lesotho was beaten by Morocco today with 2-0. B. Díaz scored the first goal in 45 minutes while A. Ounahi scored the second goal in 82 minutes. And for the match between Gabon vs Niger is by 8:00. That match is unpredictable. I will choose double chance to predict that match. South Sudan received 5-0 from Egypt. That was nice displayed from Egypt. Ghana vs Gambia is ongoing. Ghana supposed win this match.

Guinea-Bissauh has scored 1 goal in the 15 minutes of the match and it was scored by Franculino. Nigeria has to do well to win. The match.

Morocco is the best team in Africa right now, i knew they were going to defeat Lesotho so easy, because Lesotho is a weak team when compared to Morocco. Losotho should be happy that Morocco won them 0:2 in their nations cup qualifiers game. The game between Gabon vs Niger the bookies favoured Gabon, but i did not allow that make me play Gabon to win Niger because in African football odds do not decide the result of a game. I bet the Gabon vs Niger game under 3.5 goals, and the game has gotten to 35 minutes the score is still 0:0.

The point is if Victor Osimhen was around today he would probably be able to score goals with his great skill as he is one of the best finishers in this team. The team failed to qualify for the last World Cup and it appears that they have been underperforming in the AFCON qualifiers as well.

These players do well for their clubs hence the reason they can be selected to come represent the country, but the reception of our football heads and how they have been treating these players have been taking a toll on their loyalty to the team to give their all when they wear the National colors. By the time we have our government and football heads improve, it will show in our National football, the players will do better because they have the proper encouragement and support from the government which is encouraging.

Isn't this a shameful result? If I had talked about this match before it started, it would have seem like I'm talking down on the national team. Like I said last week or 2 weeks ago, it's only the female team that has been making us happy over the years, as for the male team, it's been one heart break to the other, just imagine today, win and top the group while we wait for the other matches, they said no, that they prefer to lose and remain second. Who would have thought these guys would lose by this margin to Guinea-Bissau! This shows that the last match, we were just lucky to have made that comeback to win the first match. 3 whole goals conceded without any response. Nigeria has truly lost its footballing prowess in the continent.

It's indeed a humiliating result, hope those that have been saying that the Super Eagles are trying can now continue praising them now that things are getting worse. It is good that Nigeria lost this match so that they will learn to appreciate players who work extra hard for the Super Eagles. If Victor Osimhen was fit to play we would have seen a different ball game and great energy in the squad. It's so unfortunate that the Super Eagles keeps degrading in their performance almost in all matches. Ordinary Guinea Bissau won Nigeria by 3:0. This is so unbelievable. Maybe the national team should be banned for a couple of years so that they can have a sober reflection.

Nigeria's performance in today's Africa Cup of Nations League match was most disappointing, in fact I never imagined that my country would lose 3-0. The players of the visiting Nigeria team were completely useless at the Guinea Bissau team ground today. The performance of this team today shows how the players of this team got the opportunity to play in European clubs.

The point is if Victor Osimhen was around today he would probably be able to score goals with his great skill as he is one of the best finishers in this team. The team failed to qualify for the last World Cup and it appears that they have been underperforming in the AFCON qualifiers as well.

It's like watching a totally different team play, but I guess sometimes team do get a bad day and hopefully this is one of those days and the coach get to fix this shit and get the boys active back on their next game.

It is true that Victor Osimhen also needed an effective midfield or a good team performance to create chances but it seems that Nigeria could have performed at a higher level today if they had this best striker in the team. All in all, it seems that Nigeria team has forgotten to play football now because they have some players in their team who played in top clubs.

But did not perform well for Nigeria team in this African Cup of Nations League, against the Guinea Bissau team they conceded three goals but failed to score a single goal which proved to be their worst performance in today's match and their midfield and defenders were completely useless in this match against the Guinea Bissau team.

We have nonsense talent joor, bunch of average players, all them know how to play when they are in their respective clubs, but when it comes to National football they forget how to play. The more we keep hyping these players, the more shame they bring . Back to back world cup miss, AFCON final loses, and last AFCON semi final loss, yet these players didn't feel remorseful to try and improve themselves. .  This issue is  coming directly from the NFF as a result of their poor management. Some players in this team doesn't deserve to play for us walahi. A very shameful game and performance from these players, I just hope they are able to beat Tanzania, to boost our chances of qualifications. This is the reason why I didn’t bother to waste my time watching    Super Eagles  vs Guinea-Bissau match. I think the issue isn't just about osimhen not playing the match. There is no doubt that his absence can actually affect the super eagles attack, however considering the kind of players the super eagles has, they are supposed to score a goal even without osimhen playing the match. The results shows that the super eagles performance was poor in almost all the areas and not just in attacking/ finishing. They need to improve there performance and not to be relying always on oshimen to score goals

How poor is a country that cannot build a proper pitch for international matches? That pitch was terrible, the worst i have seen, even grassroots teams have a better pitch than a country. Not like Nigeria is any special, because our own pitch and stadium are a big disgrace to us, what the giants of Africa have as their standard pitch for home games.

The issue is corruption in Africa, we are like a decade behind our fellow African country, Morocco, and we aren't the poorest.

What amazes me about this super eagles team is the kind of players they have. All of them are top players in European competitions, doing very well in there individual league games for there club. But when it comes to the super eagles in action, this is what we get, disappointments and losses. I don't know what could be the magic that needs to be done, because, obviously, so may things aren't working. Foreign coaches aren't working. Domestic coaches also not working. Home based players isn't doing the magic, and foreign bases players too aren't doing it. What next?

Speaking of Osimhen, its so unfortunate that he's not usually there when we need him the most. His injuries always comes in crucial moments for the team. Nigeria did not qualify for the just concluded FIFA WorldCup because Osimhen was not available in the second half of the playoff against Niger due to injury. He also missed a crucial match in the champions league knockout stage against Liverpool due to an injury.

I would really love to see Osimhen fit in those kind of important games, because he is the only player that stabilizes the team in my opinion.

Football is a team sport and not an individual sport, and if these players are doing well for their clubs, but when it comes to the national side, they are not playing as impressively as they should, it should mean that there is something wrong with our national side that needs fixing, probably not with the coaching but the management from the very top, and as long as that is not fixed, the problem will continue to reoccur, and the Super Eagles will continue to have bad performances from one coach to another and from one set of players to another set of players.
