Congratulations to Lamine Yamal for winning the best young talent of the year award. He has won the award for 3 consecutive year starting from 2024, he deserves it better than any one else and I'm proud of him for retaining it 3 consecutive times, it's not easy. However, as the tension for the Ballon d'Or winner grows higher, we should understand that all 3 players which are Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane and Mbappe are deserving of the award so whoever emerge as the winner will be well appreciated. I don't I think I have witnessed a Ballon d'Or award ceremony where 3 players has almost same ratings.

The top 3 nominated players who will win the award will be so excited as it will mark their first time of winning the award and right now, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal will be on a great tension but the truth is that the winner has been selected already. i can imagine how their heart rate  will be right now and honestly, it is very hard to predict or select who will win the the ballon d'or because they all did well in various ways and if they should rank it by major trophy Lamine Yamal stand at a big advantage to win the award.

Definitely a well deserved winner, as a striker I definitely think he deserved it because a 105 goals + assist in a single year( season) is definitely worthy of any individual award. One key take away from this is one should know his true worth, we all see that he didn’t even campaign much for himself and his only speech was that the voters see what he has done and they would vote accordingly, I actually had Mbappe coming up close to him in my opinion because individually he was the highest goal scorer in every of the competition he played in. But Kane edges with team accolades.

Such a remarkable story from leaving Tottenham after he was accused of been trophy cursed to winning club trophies and the biggest individual award. Hopefully he gets to win a trophy with England before he retires

And the result is here, Harry Kane won Ballon d'Or. He made it all the way to the Champions League final with Tottenham but didn’t win it then, now that he’s become the top scorer with Bayern, he’s taken home the award. Huh ultimately the debate has been over and Balloon d'Or has been handed to Harry Kane. Congratulations to him because he really deserve this awards. Harry Kane is a great player. He finished the 2025/26 season with a great record, scoring 73 goals and helping Bayern Munich win three domestic titles. If Kane wins the Ballon d'Or tonight, he'll be well-deserved, considering his achievements.
But Mbappé and Yamal are also excellent, so it'll be a tight competition between these three players. But my gut feeling is that Mbappé will win. Even though he didn't win the World Cup, his individual achievements are also impressive.

Yes Yamal didn't win it , but that dosen't make him a bad player. His extraordinary talent is why made him to be the youngest player to ever get nominated for Ballon d'Or, IMO, that is already an achievement for me. He is still young and winning the Ballon d'Or would have gotten into his head and made him begin to misbehave, so not winning it will give him the chance to ongoingly keep on improving and getting better. Young lad still got enough time on his plate to win as many Ballon d'Or as he wants to.

General Mbappe can finally rest, and we can finally rest from all the viral video of Mbappe winning the Ballon d'Or. I see the way he was just tensed, man should focus on how he can help his team win trophies. Goals alone can't get the job done.

Before moving to Bayern Munich Harry Kane has played for Tottenham with no trophy to his name but everything changed the moment he moved to Bayern Munich. I was not taken aback when it was announced that H. Kane was the winner of the Men's category of the ballon dior. The statistics of the season in all the competitions clearly makes him deserving of the prize.

None of the rivals came close to his metrics in the season. I cannot be more happier than I'm right now for H. Karry and I can say it proudly that he made the best choice of moving to bundesliga, it changed everything about his football career.

What next that I wish him is winning the Uefa champions league, it will be the greatest of all.
