hi, can anyone explain why i dont see any stats for daggerhashimoto under the my miner tab?
its mining away in nicehash miner telling me i'm earning 0.74mBTC/day  0.88 USD/DAY but the balance is stuck at the last amount it mined with equihash so i'm concerned i'm either doing something wrong to mine with ethminer or its not reporting to the site properly??

Check which miner are you using for DaggerHashimoto in your NiceHash Miner benchmark config settings. We suggest you to use sgminer-gm.

i appreciate what you are saying but the miner is quite clearly doing something as you can see from this screenshot..




its funny because when equihash or cyrptonight become most profitable the balance does go up and all is good, it's took me 3 days to realise i havnt been getting paid for any mining whilst its switched to daggerhashimoto.
and for the record ive seen 2 other recent complaints on the github. https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/issues/678

as for the advice of using sgminer in the benchmark, i tried that and it just doesnt do anything, it literally doesnt even get the card hot like its not even trying to benchmark. so out of curiosity i tried the previous version of nicehash and it works fine albeit a bit slower than the ethminer hash rates.

Yes, this is well known issue of ethminer - it does not work with recent AMD drivers. Nobody solved this issue, the coder working on it abandoned this project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1368785.0

That is why we put sgminer-gm in, as it does not have this bug. We are aware that there is an issue with latest version of benchmark never completing. Will be fixed in new version when it is released.

i dont know if it helps anyone, but i still had the previous version of nicehash v1.7.5.0 zipped in my downloads folder.
so i took SG miner from there and copied it in to the v1.7.5.1 bin folder and now its working for daggerhashimoto, it is 1MH/s slower than ethminer was but theres plenty of time to play around with it and try to increase that

Europe - NiceHash typically has more orders/miners for equihash. If one was to set their server location to Europe will they receive different orders than those that choose the USA server?

my rig us running R9 290 cards (2) wind10 ssd 78gbram

Firstly benchmark doesnt work, just makes the machine hang. So i skip this and mine. one card is mining fine on zecminer the other card just keeps opening another window for sgminer closes it then open again.

It's paused and not mining, and wasting 2 gb of system ram....

This is only when using ethminer on Nvidia (on AMD sgminer/claymore is used). It can not be disabled - this technique is used to quickly restore mining after switching back to DaggerHashimoto from some other algorithm without the need to re-generate the DAG file once again. It yields more profits at the end of the day.
