The new Nicehashminer is calculating wrong. The benchmark say both quark and ethereum has 71.000 kh/s, when I press start it goes to eth and starts mining. The problem is that I only get about 34.000 kh/s. This makes eth mining less profit than quark that run at 71.000 kh/s. I´m going back to last version that calculates profit correct.

The nicehashminer runs at different speeds compared to the website its like 30mh where it will read 50-60 on the website, so check the website for your actual hashrates because they are the accepted speeds.

i also have problem with the 1.3.0.0 version. quark benchmark was skipped and lyra2rev2 was 100% rejected even when I copy configuration from previous version.

and how much time it takes to create the dag file for ethereum? i have pentium g3220 cpu, 8GB ram and 2x radeon 280x.

You should not copy the old config for lyra2rev2 cause the extra launch parameters have changed in the new sgminer.. it will give you HW errors as far as my testing goes..

It will usually take about 10 minutes or so to create the DAG file..

Try setting your router to DMZ which will open up the ports, we probably need to port foreward nicehashminer but i dunno what the ports are for the program or if you just need to foreward the ports from whatever nicehashminer uses for ethminer.exe

BTW it can mine all the  Blake256 versions...

For right now the Genoil's ethminer does not support CUDA mining on nVidia3.X cards as it will not submit anything.. it could run with OpenCL but somehow I am getting really slow hashrates.. if I am wrong please do tell me..

I'm not sure what problem you are having but you should not have to do DMZ on your router AFAIK.. the ports for the proxy is 4051 and for the miner to connect to the proxy is 4052..

Well the port forwarding doesn't work all i know is one computer works if i have it set to dmz and have it as the host, and the other computers i have to make a .bat file and run it without the miner. I haven't messed with any of the port settings in nicehashminer but the thing wont benchmark or run through it on any of my other computers. Also when the ethminer benchmark fails the nicehashminer just freezes and you need to close it and restart.

I'll try and see if i can get it going tonight but it looks like i'm not the only one with this problem lol it's even posted on the github that the etherminer crashes on startup which i'm guessing is why i have to mess with my routers ports.

Hey there, i downloaded the new 1.3 and whirlpoolx, blake256r8, blake256r14, and ethereum can't be benchmarked or run. Any info on that? Thanks.

Are you using an AMD card? If yes then for the whirlpoolx, blake256r8, blake256r14 algos, there's no demand on NiceHash and there for you can't do any benchmark as sgminer does not have any benchmark option builtin. For ethereum you would need to send the log file to nhm@nicehash.com after the failed benchmark for further analysis..

Yup i'm using 7950s, i'll see if i can even get the logfile because the thing doesn't crash it's just open stuck on benchmarking even if you hit stop benchmark it doesnt do anything until you right click the program and close it.

Also this is in the debug not sure if its the same as log? But this is what happens when i run ethminer benchmark.

Try removing "--gpu-memclock=1450 --gpu-engine=1185" from the your ExtraLaunchParameters. That is for sgminer but is not supported on ethminer.

mh, eth miner don't work.

It starts, then you can see "creating DAG". When I have about 27% it restarts and start again with 0%.

Can you help me?

Well, i got it to run and startup and do it's thing thanks to you , In the last version i couldn't set that by just going to the individual algorithms but it looks like that works alright now. I guess ill just use msi to turn up my clocks? Thanks for the quick responses. I was also having an issue with sgminer getting stuck and restarting when mining x11 here's whats in my debug file.

Try removing "--gpu-memclock=1450 --gpu-engine=1185" from the your ExtraLaunchParameters. That is for sgminer but is not supported on ethminer.

Well, i got it to run and startup and do it's thing thanks to you , In the last version i couldn't set that by just going to the individual algorithms but it looks like that works alright now. Thanks for the quick responses. I was also having an issue with sgminer getting stuck and restarting when mining x11 here's whats in my debug file.

That part I'm not sure either the sgminer is at fault or the sgminer's API is at fault. Maybe someone else can help on this topic.

Well now im having the issue where i have 2 graphics cards on ethminer they are both 7950s and they only read 30 mh, they should be at about 60, also it reads that on the site. I have a 7950 in another computer and it does slightly better than both of those according to the site but on my miner it goes around 25.

Can you screenshot the ethminer console.. that should tell you the real speed it is mining.. the NiceHashMiner is getting the speed from the proxy and the values do fluctuate a bit in the beginning but settles down (but still there is some fluctuation) after a while..

I fixed it, sortof... i ran 2 seperate folders with 2 seperate nicehashminer instances all with the same settings except 1 card was enabled on both instances that were different and i got my hashrate to read properly, idk what it is. Tried 2 seperate workers hasn't shown up on website yet.

The new Nicehashminer is calculating wrong. The benchmark say both quark and ethereum has 71.000 kh/s, when I press start it goes to eth and starts mining. The problem is that I only get about 34.000 kh/s. This makes eth mining less profit than quark that run at 71.000 kh/s. I´m going back to last version that calculates profit correct.

The benchmark is reporting wrong speed and the fix is to manualy put in 34MH/s in the json and it now works as intended.
