Ccminer sia:
Stratum notify: invalid parameters
Which ccminer?
All that I tried

EDIT: klaust stratum works, but crashes a couple seconds after,  with "invalid device symbol"
Have you tried Tpruvot?
yes, many flavours and old versions.
the only startum that works for me is klaust, but the miner crashes.
What card? Linux or Windows?
1070, linux.
I think I have fixed the Makefile in my ccminer fork some days ago, but since I don't use Linux I can't test that.

It compiles just fine, it crashes with "invalid device symbol".

Ok. let me guess: are you using CUDA 7.5 ?
Try CUDA 8.0
If this is not the problem, then I can't help you.
It's running just fine here under Windows

Thanks & regards,

Quote
Error! Your API request quota has been breached. You can try again in X seconds.

Any chance the quota could be increased to more than 1 stats view per minute? (maybe 5 or so).

This error is really annoying if you have more than one stats page to check.

Thanks  Smiley

Hello,

I am very curious about one thing  now;

When i check the ethereum profit of 1 x 30mh/s GPU (120W on the wall) from this address:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=30&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=120&CostPerkWh=0.12

it gives me $4.90 daily (without power cost) and monthly $143 net profit.

But when i look at the nicehash miner i got 30.2mh/s there and $4.45 (edit: i believe without power cost) daily and $125 net profit (after power cost) - Here is my question;

This $4.45 number is calculated WITH power cost or WITHOUT power cost?

if WITHOUT power cost then you guys getting a %10-15 mining fee which is a huge one..

Please tell me your numbers are WITH the power cost.

thanks.

EDIT: Currently seeing $4.50s...  ~30mh/s should mine around $5 based on current ETH price (~$197) not $4.50s... Huge difference..

It takes some time for the transaction to clear. I've been doing Nicehash for almost 5 months now no problems with payout =)

Until it starts to clear it'll just look like it was cleared out with no payment.

Can somebody tell me why the profit is %10-15 lower than normal on Nicehash miner...? I am seeing around $4.60 for 30mh/s instead of ~$5 normal rates..

Nicehash is a market for hash power, not a traditional pool.  You'll get paid depending on what buyers are willing to pay, not based on anything else.  If you only want to use the site when you would make a profit, read the help section and you can set a minimum payment threshold.

It's in your best interest to really understand the rates, fees and payment mechanisms of any of these services.  Pools all charge a fee, and multi-pools won't always give you consistent payouts.  Do your homework.

If you use the GPU calculators at www.whattomine.com you will see that the ratio for mining an algorithm via Nicehash will typically be lower then if you mined elsewhere. Think of them as a middleman facilitating a service to make it easy for miners to make money and for Joe Common to get altcoins without having to mine or trade. As anything in this world that offers a service as a middleman the profit ratio is going to be smaller. If anyone doesn't like that fact of economics just go and mine on a traditional pool. You will possibly make more there but you will also have to do more work, only the end user can decide which option is right for them.
