The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Hello guys, first of all I would like to acknowledge such a awesome piece of software!

I have a question about a feature I'd like to be in it.

It is possible to restart the miner if the hashrate falls below a defined rate?

Looking forward to your reply, tia!

Could you add Johnny's pool, http://www.bravo-mining.com/, to the list of pools we can add please?  His site has an api for user stats and pool stats available is json format, would be cool to see that info in crytoglance.

I would like to request that BCMonster also be added to the pool list, http://www.bcmonster.com/index.php.  Both BC and Bravo use the same pool code, so adding one should be as easy as adding both.  Thanks!

I'm trying cryptoglance, and it looks really interesting.
But I have a problem , when it is running , it make my firefox/chrome become really slow... serious lag on some pages. + cryptoglance take long time to update or log in.
Do someone know why ??

cryptoGlance shouldn't affect other applications on your system unless you have the update times set too frequently. Even still, we don't allow you to set very aggressive update timers either. This is the first we've heard of this issue, however it would be a good idea to investigate your system's other running processes next time you notice it, and try to determine what the real culprit is.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the fast answer !
I finally noticed verything was slower (not only web browsers) including windows explorer.
It appears after launching the windows app. And it doesn't stop after shutting it down. I have to reboot to get rid of the problem. But the most easily noticeable is with web browsers.
I got an error message about script problem when using firefox or chrome. The message asked me to choose between waiting and closing. But there was no more details.
Any idea ?

A concrete example :
everything was working fine , including log in amazon.com for example.
After lauching the app , everything seemed to work fine , but when I tried again to log in amazon.com , i got the lag.
After a moment , I got a error message : the plugin is busy and I have to choose between wait or close.
I don't know which plugin it is.

That's the key, as you'd need to find out which script it is referring to. If you are using the standalone cryptoGlance application, and Firefox or Chrome tells you that there is an unresponsive script, then it is not cryptoGlance, although you should use Task Manager to determine which process is consuming a lot of your CPU and making your system unresponsive.

Failing that, maybe try cryptoGlance on another system? It sounds like an issue that's specific to your current system there. Tough to troubleshoot as well, but again, you're the first person to report such an issue. We'll keep our ears out for anyone else who experiences the same thing.

Thanks!

I still need your help.

I use the standalone application.
Is that possible that something in cryptoglance is shared with the browsers ?

With chrome, I managed to find where could be the problem : it tells me shockwaveflash is not responsive.

Again , it appears only when I'm using the app.
And that's not the only trouble that appear : even the task manager (with ctrl alt suppr) is slower than usual, and dosn't show anything useful ... :-(

An idea of what I can do ?

Trying to help as best we can, but note that the standalone cryptoGlance application is exactly that. It is sandboxed, and does not depend on anything else. It doesn't even have Shockwave Flash included with it.

Everything else you are saying is indicative of a deeper problem with your system. When Task Manager loads, even slowly, once it is open, click the PROCESSES tab and then sort by CPU. This should tell you which process is stressing your PC.

Apart from that, there's not much else we can tell you. You may wish to try restarting Windows in Safe Mode with Networking, then see if the problem still exists. Or, try NOT running cryptoGlance as you use your PC, and then see if the same behaviour/lagging occurs. If you still believe it's the cryptoGlance standalone app, then you should try installing XAMPP and running the PHP version of cryptoGlance from source.

Again, that's about all that we can suggest.

I've been running the standalone Cryptoglance app on a windows 10 computer and I've never had any issues with chrome.

And I've got cyrptoglance running 24/7 on a dedicated 22" monitor.

But that's a quad core/32Gb RAM computer...

I run cryptoglance 24/7 on my old XP box and it's a champ, zero problems or issues.  User vg54dett's issues are something else, not CG.

Everything is perfect when the app is not on.
I don't think I have a probleme else where, but probably I met a rare compatibility problem.
I will update as soon as I find explanation in case it can help someone else.

I'm needing some help with the android app. I've read through the thread. I'm struggling with the cryptoglance url. How do I know or determine where it is located and what it is? I'm sure this is a silly questions but I'm not tech savvy.
Thanks

It's the ip address (and port) of the machine CG is running on.

Is there a way to set it up to only show the overview by default? I only have 25 machines added and its laggy and things bounce around too much as it tries to update each and every units total stats. The overview is constantly reporting units are offline due to the constant updating of the stats in each frame. Also is there a way to add temperature to the overview? It is one of the most important pieces of information needed when monitoring a farm.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
