I checked my order status 13XX and it changed from processing to Publish today, anyone else notice this....even though I asked for a refund and have not received a reply.
Also, went by both of AMTs offices in PA and no one home.
Just checked my AMT Order status and still says: Order Date Status Total #1565 February 27, 2014 on-hold $4,089.00 for 1 item Rather amusing considering I finally got my miner (upgraded to 1.2TH as well the few other 520's) about 2 weeks ago and the psu for it a week after that... Im in for just over $6100+, hope they will either go to jail or be forced to repay everyone plus damages. I wonder when the prosecutor will get tired of the same case over and over again. "I ordered BFL and they scammed me!" "I ordered ScamMinerXx420xXBitcoinMiner and they scammed me!" "I ordered AMT and they scammed me!" I ordered from AMT (Advanced Mining Technologies) even after I read the following, for I surely thought that it was a different Harrison Zachariah Zipkin (Harry Zipkin) than the one we were lead to believe was JUST a friend of the family of one of the of owners, later learning that the owner of AMT (Advanced Mining Technology) was a one Joshua Zipkin and that Harry Z Zipkin truly is his dad who, by the way, is currently pulling a major scam in Philly, both Jewish Bulgarians operating under the guise of being Freemasons, with Josh Zipkin having his AMT office IN the Masonic Temple while he's in Bulgaria hunting down his wife on its streets. http://nvsos.gov/sosentitysearch/CorpDetails.aspx?lx8nvq=WdidKSV2G7BvnS3D%252b0xFcw%253d%253d3155 EAST PATRICK LANE SUITE 1 LAS VEGAS NV 89120-3481 http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Grant-Instructor-LLC-Grant-Resource-Center/Las-Vegas-Nevada-89120/Grant-Instructor-LLC-Grant-Resource-Center-UNAUTHORIZED-charges-to-my-account-Las-Vegas-335041On 5-14-08 I was online and received a pop-up ad for FREE grant information $2.95 for shipping. There were other options to choose other packages the highest being $49.50, but I chose the lesser option just for the information (so I thought). My account was debited 2.95 and a few days later there were other UNAUTHORIZED charges from Grant Resource in the amount of 49.50, plus 1.49 for international service fee (whatever that means). I received the CD but could not access the information without a unsername/password, which was not provided. Therefore, the CD is useless.
I began searching online to locate this company and found several complaint sites on this company. However, I could not find the original site and ad I ordered the CD through. I got the company's phone number through one of the complaints and called to request a refund. Needless to say, I was told they could not refund my money because I had agreed to a membership when I ordered the CD for 2.95. The lady said the terms of agreement were right there on the website, right below the options. "You can't miss it" she said. I told her there were no terms of agreement in the ad I saw. I told her it was unfair and a rip off! She said it didn't matter what I thought I could NOT get my money back because it was a binding agreement. She was rude and unprofessional, and stated I should have read the fine print. Well, I did not AGREE to 49.50. She said she would cancel my membership and I would not be charged any additional money. She said I would receive an email confirming the cancellation, which I did not receive. I ended the call and contacted my bank.
I decided to call back and try again, this time speaking to a man. I explained the situation to him and got the same response. He said the "system" would not allow him to refund my money. He too, insisted that the terms and agreement were there, and he directed me to a website that was totally different from the ad I had received. I told him that was not the website I saw, and he replied that I must have been on some other site. I gave the company name and address that was on the CD I received and he confirmed it was the same company. I told him how unfair the company's practice is and he said we could talk all day but it wouldn't change anything because he could not refund my money. RIP OFF!!! Again, he said he would cancel the membership and send me a confirmation email, which I still have not received. It is shameless that someone can get away with taking money from consumers accounts UNAUTHORIZED!!!
There are 2 other companies associated with this same address and suite number; Talkpath, LLC, which has one complaint for unauthorized credit card charges; and Zen Marketing, LLC, which ironically has a website -- www.makemoneywithcreditcards.com. Whose credit cards are they making money with --- YOURS! Also, the BBB has been unable to confirm if these two companies are licensed. I could not find a report through BBB on Grant Instructor LLC, but I have filed one and I encourage you to also.
I am still requesting a refund of my money --- all of it! However, I have been warned that once they debit your account, they continue to debit your account even though they tell you the membership has been cancelled. So I have taken care of that. Do not do business with any of these companies. if you have encountered problems with this company -- please, file a report with the BBB.

The miners Joshua shipped (7 months later with no compensation or differential/prorated refund due to devaluation) are at least working. Better than the magic smoke set. But still cant trust anything with him on the shipping front. If it had not been for the fact the miner was going to someone else, I would have gotten a machine with no PSUs and considering how many people are still having issues on that front, I would have likely as well. I consider myself a lucky bastard for having gotten 2 complete miners at all. And the fact I even have to consider myself lucky should speak volumes about AMT_miners aka Joshua Zipkin's customer service skills.

Quiet day today. AMT's page came under maintenance....shortly. https://advancedminers.com/lol if this is routine, I am guessing they will be down alot. Well considering the level of competence and even admitted competence by the CEO Joshua Zipkin of AMT miners, I suppose this should be no shock.

LMAO the picture of their "datacenter"......incriminating on a number of levels. IF it was theirs, it means they have millions to operate, because a setup like that with that picture and their logo emblazoned in the room would indicate photgraphic proof they have millions that should have been a refund. I work with and design alot of the stuff that goes into datacenters, I know EXACTLY what an operation like that costs down to the penny. IF its fake (which I am reasonably certain it is), then its again deceptive advertising and in MANY countries illegal to do. Fact is either way this was up on their cloud ad before. But fact that he is going out of his way to scam more people just shows it. IF its real it would be better for him to be there standing in the middle aisle showing it off. Again either way. More bullshit from a bullshit company trying to scam more people. He is staying away from the forum. OR he reads it. As long as we make sure people keep aware of Joshua Zipkin and the AMT antics they will refuse to buy....since I know how much he hates seeing this....BUY BITMAINTECH!! LOL WTF?! I just noticed the "rackmount" has an external PSU in the cached imaged in the links. That has to be the shittiest rackmount design ever!!! The whole point of a rack mount is to put a working PSU in the rackmount case itself!

I explained that away within hours of Josh uploading it, and several times since. I was playing lying-toe-to-toe with Josh after within being in his office less than five minutes, I realized what type of character he was, and still is. He went on a diatribe as to why he felt he didn't have to honor the 20 BTC bounty to me or anybody else who may have brought me to this office, but offered up an AMT miner sitting on his desk toward the end of the diatribe, provided I do X, Y and Z, of which I looked him straight into his lying Jewish Bulgarian eyes and said yes, knowing full will that I would be discrediting him within a few hours after taking a shower for being with that nasty pig. My after-meetup posts are still up on AMT's now closed non-self-moderated thread confirming the above. My friends here know the story. You still want to be my friend.

Got some lulz over AMT_Miners aka Joshua Zipkins ringing endorsement of Cointerra. Italics emphasis mine. Made me lul hard. Seems like thick as thieves is a thing. Cointerra will retain a bunch of professional liars(lawyers) to argue the meaning of the word "is" and attack the plaintiffs, but I hope cointerra goes down. Lessee.
Cointerra sued, bfl sued, hashfast sued, vmc sued. Guess that about covers all the American manufacturers. Obviously US laws haven't been much of a fraud deterrent to this point.
ok, i find this argument a little surreal. let me play devil's advocate here.. and put forward an opposing viewpoint just for a moment. I'm going to go for the extreme opposing viewpoint and show you what it can look like from another point of view. indulge me please... i will also use the devil theme a lot in these thoughts... there's one striking difference in that list. cointerra did.. actually ship! and they shipped within a few weeks (not months) of the promised date. and caught up their backlog very quickly (in weeks) and now ship from stock and shipped the may and june batches early (who even does that!?). you can't say that bfl shipped anything ever, on time (monarch was promised in november, and we're now may and its still not shipping - even 6 months later.. and many people only ordered the monarch as a conversion because their original order for the 65nm single or mini rigs was taking more than 6 (and in some cases 12 months!!) and us suckers thought we could catch up on hash rate by letting bfl play the shell game one more time. I'm one of the suckers - i ordered my bfl single in feb and received it in november after its value had diminished to almost zero!) - and bfl fight to the death to avoid giving any refunds - really pulling out all the stops to prevent anyone getting a refund... hashfast promised october.. and we're now may and they're still not shipping and they're now talking june onwards (and not refunding either), vmc, er lost track of when they promised.. but they're still not shipping. so whats your beef? that they didn't accurately predict the performance and power consumption? thats it? and yet, they may be one of only very few bitcoin mining hardware companies to actually ship nearly on time? and nearly to spec? heck, even the golden boys kncminer have fallen out of favour. go read their forums. they could do no wrong, with the first couple of jupiter batches... but when they started building out their huge data center instead of allowing customers to buy any more, under the pre tense of 'network protection' they started offending customers.. and now that they've delayed the neptune and offered everyone some poor second fiddle options that turned out to be less than acceptable (frankenjups arriving in pieces) and no longer allowing refunds. And what about avalon? oh yea, they also delayed and failed to ship most of batch 2 and all of batch 3. and made people wait months while they hashed with it themselves. you missed out a few.. how about bitmine? promised october, and still not shipping to this day. and no refunds. blackarrowsoftware? and a whole slew of others I've forgotten to mention... and you claim cointerra overcharged? you think so? they were and still are one of the cheapest thats actually shipping. their price per gigahash back when they took the orders was way less than anyone else's at the time - way less than what hashfast charged ($14/gh), and kncminer charged ($17.5/gh).. and what did cointerra charge most of the customers? most of them paid a little over $3/gh, except the first batch, that paid a little more (and were compensated by getting two machines instead of one, AND front of line delivery). at the time of sales, and yes, even at the time of delivery.. cointerra was one of the lowest cost miners - per gigahash - on the market so you can't possibly argue they overcharged when compared with everyone else they were much much less expensive. So go take a look at the bitcoin mining hardware companies out there - and make a list - and lets pretend the awful ones are in hell and the perfect ones are in heaven, and you tell me where cointerra is on that scale. they sure aren't the devil. maybe they're not a saint either, but they're nowhere near the bottom of the pile compared to most of the company they keep. whose in heaven? spondoolies maybe (but they're very recent and weren't shipping until recently). what about asicminer? sure, they're good.. but they've been uncompetitive for awhile and their prices per gigahash and power consumption made cointerra's look like the biggest bargain ever. then there's the refund policy. sure, they didn't encourage refunds.. but everyone who took delivery of their underperforming miner was offered a refund, or had the chance to get a refund instead of a delivery of the miner. AND everyone who took delivery was offered compensation in the form of discount on a future order. So, you really think you can sue them even though your ultimate recourse was to ask for a refund and you wouldve got one (as several customers did)- cointerra is one of the only companies i know of who allowed refunds (not encouraged them, mind, but allowed them)... then there's the sales contract and terms and conditions? if you ordered something from cointerra, then you agreed to their t's & c's when you placed the order. it specified that if you have a beef with them, you work it out in arbitration. that doesn't allow you to do a class action. you have no grounds to do it. or are you going to lie in court and say you ordered it from their online store without agreeing to their terms and conditions of sale? ok, there's my devils advocate thoughts. i hope i could show that there's two sides to every story. +1 Cointerra has it together. They are the best of us, granted they had funding where others didn't but they continue to deliver and ship their miners. Out of all the companies cointerra is thus far the best and a big brother/role model for the little guys to look up to. And a class action will never fly in their case because everyone already got their machine.
In our case a class action is interesting, especially from a PR standpoint, so the lawyers next door to us had something to gain from it all. But Cointerra is a legitimate organization of guys that know what they're doing, their not in over their heads and they were upfront and direct with everyone every step of the way, something we should have done from day 1.
Where others failed, cointerra succeeded and success should never be punished.

The fact that is said:

Isn't that an admission from AMT that not only that they were not upfront and direct (meaning they were obscuring the truth and still taking orders), but that they are not even a legitimate company.

lol better to not have tipped off Josh on that. Well we got mirrors and wayback on that thread anyway. But he has a tendency to edit his comments once he is called out. Still that single comment pretty much stands on its own as an admission that he is not legit, dishonest and or incompetent both in the eyes of the court/law as a bad situation.

the next step in mr.zippkins plan is to sell all mined bitcoins and run. and then hide under a rock in bulgaria. btc price drops now and his mining farm will be worthless. i think no refunds for you or you or you!
