If memory serves TALK/BCC was a stakes coin before stakes coins where even coded.  Hence, a cluster fuck.  But it was mass 'air dropped' for FREE, not ICO.  Then traded like crazy.  Then dumped by the ninja miners. (and that ninja model became every stakes coin since except faster ninja POW like days not months).  Then Polo delisted after it hit rock bottom.  The network got a little fuzzy. But hell the chain it keeps on rolling.  Nearing 1 crypto year old too.  That's like 2000 years in human time.

Interestingly, I would think Globalcoin was about the 70th crypto every.  Apparently this website, http://cryptodatabase.net/,  has 1216 cryptos listed, which would put GLC in the 94th percentile.

TALK was created back when pure stakes coins didn't yet exist.
now anyone can copy pasta known good code.

And yet TALK block chain keeps working ... the stuck wallet was a hiccup but about 40 coins on Cryptsy have the same problem ... XC and HYPER to name a few, and the TALK community was able to fix it sans a dev and got back online, again there a lots of listed stakes coins that have died and are still dead networks.

As far as I can tell TALK has been functioning nice and smooth since a few community members  took the time to assign stable nodes.   (@mycoinsstore? Thanks if it was you)

Again this is a 'community' coin so it sucks to see a few of you guys bail on one of the original stakes coin projects.
