They had no reason to take down one domain while leaving others online, especially their main domain. Therefore, their domain was likely taken down by a third party, probably at the request of someone else. If that even matters anymore.

Also, i want to highlight that the person behind the attacks and spreading false abuse reports-linked to anir0y-scams.info has been using multiple alt accounts on Bitcointalk to spread misinformation and damage eXch reputations. It’s possible you might be one of those accounts, given the tone and your reply here.

ClientHold Does Not Always Mean Law Enforcement Action:
While clientHold can be set due to legal requests, it’s also used for other reasons (e.g., payment issues, policy violations, or at the registrant’s request). Without direct evidence or a statement from the registrar, it’s hard to say definitively that it was law enforcement-driven.

I tried to initiate two test swaps. The first one was bitcoin to tether and the second one was bitcoin to ethereum. As you can see, eXch shows me the rates but that notification isn't there. Maybe I needed to enter the addresses for it to display, but I don't see an address entered in your screenshot either.

Also, are you on Tor or clearnet? Because I tried on Tor.

edit: you must be on Tor, because I think the phishing "beware" notification isn't shown on clearnet.

My guess: they're testing shutdown-announcements on the live site. That would explain it isn't showing all the time.

I did that too but didn't take a screenshot of it. Same thing. The error you saw didn't appear on my end. I just tried to access their onion domain to try again, and now it seems to be offline. 

Also, are you on Tor or clearnet? Because I tried on Tor.

Both screenshots are from Tor as you later realized based on the notifications at the top of the page.

It is a way to monetize  his work. Add refs, get visitors, etc... A forum thread may be helpful too, but the website is as well.
