Eh, it's a shame though.. Even before the deposit I went to check the address and saw that transactions had already been made on it, which bothered me, but I still made the transfer. Usually exchange addresses are always generated.
But what happened, happened, I hope I'm the last one to donate to the creator of this phishing site.

edited
Made a new exchange but now in .CX domain, and everything went smooth as possible.

I honestly doubt you're the last one, but I think people are a lot more cautious today than before regarding the price of BTC. One of the golden rules I learned right from the start and still stick to to this day is to check everything several times before approving a transaction.

~snip~
Then im just lost my funds right now  Undecided Rest in peace 0.027 btc

Did you send 0.027 or 0.0027 to the scam site? I checked the phishing link and started a swap to see if they are using the same BTC address and it seems they are. The last transaction is exactly 0.0027 BTC

Even if they remove a website, scammers would immediately create a new one.
Now, I understand there are a few reasons why that website is still around, but in the end, users, should be educated not to trust anyone.
I understand that it is harsh, but it's the truth.
Of course, people ought to be very careful and safeguard their funds, I support this, but this domain providers need to also act swiftly as soon as they get reports about a fraudulent site otherwise why is there an option to report the domain in the first place?

They are so selectively swift in acting with other forms of reports, but when it comes to phishing link reports, they barely do anything. It's very discouraging to us, the fraud site reporters.

It's the same address. I believe the last received transaction was definitely his.

Well, I hope that typo wasn't intentional. It's still an expensive lesson but less dramatic than 27mBTC would've been.

Maybe you could still answer how and from where you came up with the scam .cc address? Quick Google search, link from another website, ...? It would be interesting to know and maybe a lesson for others, too.

That one zero definitely means a lot to someone in your situation - although for someone even a few hundred $ would be a big loss. If you learned a lesson from this, then we can conclude that you didn't pay too much for it after all.

Let’s, put this way: losing 270,000 statoshi now that Bitcoin is barely trading a t 0.085 million USD is actually a bargain. Lesson hard learned are by far the best. And if I didn’t learnt a few lessons myself, I would be richer in terms of Satoshi now, but probably I would have less Satoshi when price will be in the M region, as for sure I would have messed up something.

Phishing sites shouldn't have links on google. Users in the forum knew the site's fake so why wasn't it removed from google's listing ?

Because forum users do not control what Google lists or does not list.

This site has certainly been reported as phishing, but it always takes some time for Google to analyze it. In addition to being difficult to evaluate this type of website, for people outside this market.

Maybe it's just my subjective impression, but 4-5 years ago, such sites were "blocked" much faster after reports - while today it can take a very long time, and sometimes nothing happens at all. As for the fact that it may be difficult for someone reviewing a report to conclude that a website is phishing, I always clearly state the original link so that it is very easy to make a comparison and act in the correct manner.

The real question is how much of this work is still done by humans, and how much by AI - because I think the latter can perhaps do it faster, but not as efficiently as humans can.

What's going on here? I don't remember seeing Bitcoin reserves on exchanges barely above zero. Why is there so much demand for Bitcoin?
Also, it seems like the supply of XMR and LTC has never been higher

Almost every altcoin drops harder than Bitcoin, so I guess they're trying to limit their losses by exchanging for Bitcoin.

Perhaps if you hadn't shared and posted the screenshot here, I wouldn't have known that Bitcoin reserves could actually decrease so much on such exchanges.

But I don't think there is anything to worry here, eXch exchange has managed demand very quickly and refilled their reserves currently it is at BTC 28.88776993.

When bitcoin had a much higher value than it does now there was almost no stablecoin liquidity on eXch and those numbers were often close to 0 and would be bought quickly. But now when bitcoin is falling and altcoins are crashing much harder, crypto traders are perhaps buying BTC, expecting a trend reversal. USD has also been losing ground in favor of EUR in recent weeks.

The high demand for Bitcoin is due to the price correction and may be due to their need to sell Bitcoin to provide liquidity for DAI/USDC/USDT.
this is not the first time, as I have noticed several times that reserves have decreased to zero for some cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin.

I just checked eXch website and I can see plenty of Bitcoin available, over 62 on mainnet and over 5 on Lightning, but this can quickly change.
Shortage of bitcoin is happening more often when Bitcoin price drops, traders are than trying to earn more money, and I don't see any issue with this.
I just noticed that similar amount of BTCLN was available in your screenshots, and this is a good alternative for several reasons.

Dear users,

We are glad to announce that Lightning Network invoices for services are now supported on eXch!

It means we now accept non-zero amount invoices for LN.

The order's rate automatically converts to flat (1%) for them. The minimum expiry delay for LN invoices is 20 minutes.

Dear users,

We are glad to announce that Lightning Network invoices for services are now supported on eXch!

It means we now accept non-zero amount invoices for LN.

The order's rate automatically converts to flat (1%) for them.

Kudos to you who keep improving the system for the benefit of your users.

What's going on here? I don't remember seeing Bitcoin reserves on exchanges barely above zero. Why is there so much demand for Bitcoin?
Also, it seems like the supply of XMR and LTC has never been higher
I just checked eXch website and I can see plenty of Bitcoin available, over 62 on mainnet and over 5 on Lightning, but this can quickly change.
Shortage of bitcoin is happening more often when Bitcoin price drops, traders are than trying to earn more money, and I don't see any issue with this.
I just noticed that similar amount of BTCLN was available in your screenshots, and this is a good alternative for several reasons.

Almost every altcoin drops harder than Bitcoin, so I guess they're trying to limit their losses by exchanging for Bitcoin.

All the above explanations look reasonable to me, but I am very curious to know from @eXch Support about what is prominent when assessing exchange reserves in this case and to shed some light on the plumbing of flows they see.

All the above companies abuse their status to:

a) Prevent coins originating from our exchange (eXch) from entering their cryptocurrency wallet pools without any fair or legal ground for doing so
b) Tag eXch-known addresses as "high risk" solely because we refuse to ask our users for KYC information
c) Publish and distribute misinformation and defamatory materials about us

We expect the mentioned companies in this letter to:

1. Send a letter to our company with apologies for the intentional damage caused to us and our customers by their actions of suspending their customers' funds when they used our exchange

2. Stop immediately any discrimination against our exchange and the coins sent from addresses belonging to our exchange

3. Release immediately any frozen funds on their exchanges illegally "seized" from their customers on the basis of the wrong risk scoring of our entity (eXch)

Upon lack of a response satisfactory to us after the next ninety (90) days, counting from the date of this publication, we (eXch) will stop making it possible to identify our public cryptocurrency addresses for the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains, making it impossible for your contractors to trace coins entering and exiting any of our aggregation addresses in the future due to the activation of the eXch Aggregation Pool Customer Shield protocol. This protocol will prevent the association of our aggregated coins with our exchange in your partners' and contractors' blockchain analysis databases. Amateur blockchain researchers existing within the Twitter ecosystem will also be unable to link any transactions to eXch, which will make them unable to provide efficient voluntary help to your entities.
i have a questions about your Open Demand Letter
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577207.msg64955227#msg64955227

they are not gonna do it for sure

why don't you just implement use of multiple disposable single use ETH addresses for incoming transactions and outgoing payouts?

why do u need to collect all your USDT, USDC on one single known address?

Do you accept Lightning addresses (https://lightningaddress.com/) as well? If not, it's probably best to change the wording to "invoice" rather than address? I'm getting this is the error I'm getting when I'm trying to use a lightning address:

Code:
There is a problem with this operation:
Invalid Lightning invoice provided.

Please enter a new address:

Dear friends, we just announced a new anti-phishing campaign!

[OPEN] eXch Anti-Phishing Campaign

As you probably know, an individual - or a group of individuals - is creating copies of eXch.cx for phishing purposes. For months now, eXch (and part of our community) have been doing everything in their power to get these phishing domains suspended, trying to protect eXch users from the unpleasant loss of their funds.

Many domains have already been suspended up to this day, but we have to acknowledge that it's often difficult to achieve this result due to the lack of response from registrars and the overall phishing domains multiplication. Our efforts are sometimes insufficient, and despite the support of our community warning new users about these risks, we still continue to receive messages from users who have lost their funds on some of these malicious domains.

That's why eXch is launching an anti-phishing campaign, inviting everyone to take part and contribute to a safer, healthier environment for our users in exchange of a BTC reward.

We've taken note of the questions posted in previous messages, and will publish a grouped reply soon.
