When will you start accepting Solana?

They were asked about adding Solana to the platform last year, and this was their response. Perhaps they are first waiting for the hype to die down.

It is possible that Solana and some more popular currencies will be added, but we will await till the end of some hype trends first, because currently it's hard to tell whether Solana's popularity increase is natural or made up, but of course Visa's adoption is a serious step for it (but let's see if they don't change their mind?). We are also awaiting for more audits in regards to their code and network decentralization.

Service issues update (25-03-2024 - now)

Subject: [25-03-2024 - now] Stuck XMR payouts due to Monero node degraded performance
 
Since Mar 25 we are experiencing intermittent API errors coming from `monero-wallet-rpc` resulting into randomly failed payouts.

We have performed our own investigation and confirmed that the issue not not originating from any of our hardware/OS/API/software/modules; the issue is associated with an unknown bug within the official Monero core software stack itself.

We will wait for the Monero core team to investigate the issue and release a patch but there is no ETA.

If your order's XMR payout is stuck with the error INSTANCE_ERROR_ON_TRANSFER, the error will be cleared within an hour and another payout attempt will be done. We have implemented a temporary workaround to automatically monitor failed `transfer` API calls that had a response { 'code' => -38, 'message' => 'no connection to daemon' } and repeat them after some minutes.

All the orders that had this issue were already processed.

Subject: [26-03-2024] Clearnet website responsivity issues

We had a volumetric 100+ GBPS attack targeting all our frontend servers and some of our hosting providers were not ready for a such bandwidth spike. So far only OVH was able to remain intact and turned into the only server responding and service customers on clearnet. We will have a review of our frontend server hosting providers and leave/add only more capable of operating under such loads, since while our own infrastructure and software was made to operate under harsh conditions without any problem, not all hosting providers have channels to process this type of bandwidth on their core routers and switches.

Tor hidden service and the backend servers with the database and core services were unaffected, since they have no exposure to any part of our public infrastructure with their IP addresses (our reverse-proxy frontend servers currently exposed by `exch.cx` and other clearnet domains are connected with our database and core API servers using I2P and Tor to prevent any possible tampering and traffic inspection from state attackers who might try to find out the location of our database servers).

Hello eXch mod - please refer to this post. I’ve had $211,000 of my funds stolen yesterday and the scammers sent it to your exchange

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I had my entire life savings of $211,000 stolen from me and the scammers sent it to a crypto exchange platform eXch.cx It was a total of 62 eth. This was literally all the money that I been working with to help my mom who is dying right now from heart disease. I know the whole point of crypto is to be anonymous but please I really need your help, this was everything that I had and it was for my family and to survive. I never clicked on any airdrop scam or link so I’m pretty sure I was hacked in some sophisticated manner. I already got a police report which I can show and also I hired someone to do an investigative report log showing the exact trace from my trust wallet account into the final destination which is the scammers wallet and exchange he sent it to. I am a new user here and can not direct message the moderator for the https://exch.cx which he posted on this forum and his username is eXch. Please if somebody can reach out to him and ask to freeze the assets that would mean the world. I am in a very bad place right now in my life

The scammer's addresses are 0x73f8a08aadcfd850e1a0ff18c0ea12f634775813 and 0xfaa7a4e434a33289c2f257876bc7e1bafd328577which were made on the eXch platform, then the scammers exchanged the ETH and send them to the main eXch 0xf1da173228fcf015f43f3ea15abbb51f0d8f1123 wallet

On 04/03/24 hackers 0xed4dcc6bcbc850db680061ab28c5280cc93a9374 sent 0.15 ETH
(0x6389e5f2fbc06039e7778e9908d5ad81a50a761ace6fdfd08efee152a8ea5acd) to
0x32d502fdf445a7d76b16a65d83bbdfa796628ce6 presumably to use that amount for transaction
fees.
0xeD4DCC6BcBC850db680061Ab28c5280CC93A9374 had the last transfer
(0x744c3225cb3b7d8d676e6a5300dac7c5f7978a7f4821d53f844b039217b41e6b) to a MEXC
Global 0x8aa62b26c934af89d4e91b36fb7b5e329f53c5f2 personal address and then cashed out
(0xa75d082b41941c945e58242d8f83c5c739f234b921f59c9f8b0c94da0805d521) to
0x75e89d5979e4f6fba9f97c104c2f0afb3f1dcb88 MEXC Global main address of the exchange.

From the victim’s 0x32d502fdf445a7d76b16a65d83bbdfa796628ce6 address the hackers
transferred crypto tokens:

On the same day they also transferred 0.15 ETH
0x0edfd4402cf10d3e1f566609ddc783dc461bc42f69919acd75119fdfde7e4100 to
0x9987baf72097277efc52fb5307b9d2b98255142c address.

All the stolen from 0x32d502fdf445a7d76b16a65d83bbdfa796628ce6 crypto went to that
address.
Then the hacker swapped the stolen tokens to ETH:

(0xa4d2cb52205a3f679a8cc64538f1d55af1be8b79f3c6d38d860788feb47dc43e and
0x7973f8bcdca8473a3d5c6ef11f4e96bb7d1d7030d36005b74a0fecd817ae022b respectively) on
the main eXch exchange address 0xf1da173228fcf015f43f3ea15abbb51f0d8f1123 (with
thousands of transactions).

Hm good timing ... or maybe bad dunno, but I have a question about freezing/frozen crypto because of this  (eXch being used as exchange in FixedFloat breach according to beincrypto). Even if untrue it piqued my interest in regards to frozen crypto.

1. (to anyone): How does freezing crypto even work?
2. (to anyone): How effective is it?
3. (to eXch): Did you suffer any loss, because of crypto freezing?
4. (to eXch): Is there any special treatment in place if it comes to your attention that fraudulently gained crypto goes through eXch?

These questions are out of interest and are not meant as subtle arguments for whatever (given the previous post I feel the need to clarify).

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, this is over and no one, not even Exch, can help you. Immediately after the first confirmation, the purchased coins were sent. User funds are not kept for a long time on this exchange, and everything is automated, so the chances it will freeze any transactions are zero.

You are asking the question in the wrong place. There is no coin freeze on Exch.

I think it is impossible to check if the fund comes from a fraudulent activity or not before sending... the service would be very slow. And honest users could have been freeze by mistake.

I've just seen that you've managed to solve the problem with the Monero node, well done! I'm glad this problem has been solved, even if I find the lack of will from the XMR devs quite astounding...

I guess this exchange sits in the optimal place between a dex and a populated centralized exchange.

I ve done some research and it seems to me eXch don't suffer the liquidity problems which bisq does since eXch owns their own funds. I recently installed bisq again just to see how it has been doing and again I was disappointed. It was a ghost town. There were many XMR sellers and buyers and that's because they can't trade that stuff on any other exchange probably but there were only 3 orders for LTC which is absurd.

Pros:
+eXch doesn't require any KYC
+It offers their own funds, don't rely on user funds
+automated, no waiting

Cons:
-Not decentralized, can be taken down

I think I'd rather use this exchange instead of using bisq or binance. Bisq has liquidity/user adoption problems and binance can selectively scam you out of your account.
