Maybe there is some fight left in this  Cool I picked up a few coins recently. Let's see where this goes. Definitely not shifting my engines from XMR however. That one is likely to remain more juicy  Grin

This fight hasn't began yet. Boolberry skulks into the ring-signature ring marketed as an underdog, yet it's got the heart of a lion.

When the time is right BoolBerry will strike like a fearsome cobra and sink it's teeth into Monero's soft belly and exposed neck.

While the smarmy Monero supporters are enjoying champers, party sausages and fine cigars at monero hq Malla castle making victory dances and teabagging the long suffering supporters of superior CryptoNote implementations, BBR will ride at night.

And let it be known BBR is packing a supercharged V12 under the hood Nissan Sunny body whilst Monero is flaunting itself in a mustard yellow murcielagio, except underneath it will be discovered in due course there's barely more than a Suzuki K10B lurking underneath the dress. And It's all downhill from there I'm afraid. When Monero dies, it dies.

Damn, you are not doing the Boolberry community any favours with these types of posts. How embarrassing.

Not my problem. I don't work in the field of community relations for BBR, I simply get paid per post.
what is perhaps more embarrassing is that you spelled 'embarrassing' wrong.

Warm regards,

Tony

You used payment ID?

whats that?

You need to use it when you send to an exchange so they know who's it is.  You'll need to contact Poloniex.  They will be able to help you.

If using the GUI you need to click the "More Options" link and you'll be given a field to insert the payment ID

If sending from command line wallet use:

transfer 0 <Deposit Address> <amount> <Payment ID>

Good news!

We have new version v0.2.0.34(b4fe304), with some new features and fixes:

1. We added new tab "Exchange" to wallet, this tab let you see what is happening on the market, thanks to for providing public API, that we use to fetch this information:

Many thanks to user  aradeshworking, who appeared accidently, implemented this feature about a month ago, and then disappeared. Anyway, i know he is reading this thread - dear aradeshworking - thank you!

2. Since now we have market information, i've added current exchange rate to Dashboard and to Wallet, this information seems to be useful:

3. Implemented alias support in wallet RPC API - with new version (and actually any exchange or service) can support withdrawal to alias address.
4. Fixed bug with unset donation flag in COMMAND_RPC_GETBLOCKTEMPLATE
5. Few minor changes, including pruning ring signatures tests&fixes + protocol extension for checkpoints.

Welcome to try new version!

Windows:
Installer: bbr-win-x64-v0.2.0.34(b4fe304)-installer.exe
Zip-archive: bbr-win-x64-v0.2.0.34(b4fe304).zip

Linux:
Zip-archive: bbr-linux-x64-v0.2.0.34(b4fe304).tar.bz2

Macos:
Zip-archive: bbr-macos-x64-v0.2.0.34(b4fe304).zip

PS: Since this update contains important fixes i've pushed alert into the network with information about new version, so now you should see something like this in GUI dashboard view:

+ annoying messages in console daemon version!

And It's all downhill from there I'm afraid. When Monero dies, it dies.

can someone tell me how to find the log file in the boolberry file directory?

ziodberg can you help me? i sent 4900 boolberry to poloniex without a payment ID and they want to see the transaction ID thats in some logfile in the wallet directory or something?

I don't help damn dumpers!!!!

Joking Smiley

I'm helping to everyone, even to pttx Smiley

What OS do you have ? Your log's files should be in your application folder, in case of GUI it called qt-boolb.log, in case if CLI - it is boolbd.log + simplewallet.log.
You need qt-boolb.log(if you used GUI) OR simplewallet.log (if you have used CLI).

If you don't have transaction id, we could still try to find your transaction by amount, that you posted, 4900. Tell me exact time when you sent this money ?
And, transaction id that you have posted before "ab06cd2861606e3cef30c3458bf6cf31688d7f4df184fc0144eac1807b9789e4", where did you get it ? Because it seems to be not in the blockchain...

Anyway, don't panic - if your money actually transfered - we gonna find it, if it not - you not gonna lose it.

iv gone through all the blocks 6/7 blocks above and below the time i sent the 4900+ transaction and cannot see that amount sent in any of them, i dont even think all the coins sent in that time adds up to the amount i sent??? where have my coins gone??? wtf???

its not even showing up my address in the block explorer.. its like my account and all transactions done do not exist.. could this be a bug in the software?

Cryptonote-based coins don't have account addresses in blockchain, that's why it anonymous.
Your account exists only in your HDD.
If your transaction didn't confirmed by blockchain then you your money is still with you. I've post you instructions in pm.

i was Cheesy

it wasnt a small amount ether like.. still a little worried as its being "escalated" to someone else at polo to see can they recover my coins.. but thats a very good start. so calmed down a little now.. im very grateful for zoidbergs help.. think i would have caved with a nervous brakedown with out his help lol

I've done this about three times now and every time, Poloniex was good about helping me recover from my own mistake.  It did take a few days, but it got fixed.

(If you're reading this, Tristan and others from Poloniex -- thank you!)
