Really good to see everyone promoting KARMA on social media and the like - We need a strong and consistent stream of Bitcoin traders coming in here - The standard litecoin trader isn't supplying enough buy power to get us moving upwards. Most of these people are buying less than .5 LTC (barely $5) worth of Karma where dumping is occurring in chunks 5 times higher (still small $$ wise but not healthy). Whenever we get a boost on someone deliberately dumps it back to the low 40s - Something has to be done. Even if its just a decent buy wall (yeah Im lookin at you Mr. 55 LTC on 22 Litoshi lol) - just give these people some confidence that there is support for our coin. Low ball buy orders like that do nothing for the coin, it aint gonna get as low as 22 so move it up and have a positive effect on the price.
Our problem is we have already bought all our Karma to get in on the 10x period so even though our confidence in the coin is high we can't show it by purchasing more or setting up buy support (Can't afford anymore Fiat to LTC for a while - real world problems lol).

We are thinking about that for weeks now. We may go PoS soon... more details to come. Thank you for this concern.
Yes I know you are onto it, I have voiced my opinion in this argument a few times in the old thread. I was just bringing this up for discussion again, since most talk has been about Karmashares lately (rightfully so). I just think changing to PoS is a bit cheesy these days, every 2nd coin is going that way. Who would have thought that half a year ago? Maybe its just a short lived trend, maybe its PoS finally establishing itself as a true competitor to PoW? I don't know. TBH I just like the idea of miners securing the blockchain more than PoS. Miners have an IMO important role to play in crypto and completely taking them out of the picture puts a coin's fate purely into the hands of investor/speculators. That's why I brought up the algorithm change as a possible alternative... yep PoS = POS there is essentially very little difference between a 50+% premined coin, a centralized coin and a PoS coin. without giving new people real financial incentive to adopt the coin they simply wont bother, this is why nothing that came before Bitcoin ever had much traction. Just imagine if the largest stakeholder in a PoS coin got corrupted in some way (hacked, lost his keys, robbed, died, seized by government etc).. if that happens then its game over for the PoS coin because the coin supply is effectively monopolised from that point onward. I absolutely believe that the key to a successful crypto currency is to decentralize it as much as possible and that goes for the coin supply as much as it does for the transaction processors (nodes) themselves. I agree, we can still be very successful with 92B coins and keeping it this way should be the most desired action if possible. If we were back in a situation where we see 8 and 9 Litoshi we may feel differently. We lose a ton of respect and take on a huge technical hurdle by going PoS so the decision should not be taken lightly. I have suggested a hybrid model where existing wallets collect 1/3 residual coins and miners receive the final 2/3 and spread the timeline out longer. No decision has been made and we will continue to research every possible scenario that best moves our mission forward and benefits the entire community.

ok just sent 500k coins to the FB giveaway, at last something i can do to help other than mining Thanks, this will surely go a loooonnng loooooonnnnnngg way. Our Karma Tip fund for FB drive is now 1,405,000+ KSo while we, technically/technologically inclined people of Karma community study the Karma future course. At FB we will try to entice the laymen, who may not be interested so much in the "under the hood" details of the coin. To adopt Karma and hopefully we can stir enough interest in them that our drive would be shared among their friends too. And how can you benefit from our Official Facebook Page? You can lead your potential Karma community member to that page, there they can browse content, our community MILESTONES, EVENTS, NEWS, PHOTOS, VIDEOS that are chronologically arranged. Information they need, in chunks that they can digest at their own pace and leisure. Why don't you see for yourself? New items added daily. Good Morning! I hope you have clicked OUR LIKE button! https://www.facebook.com/karmacoin.me

NOTICE: I wanted to provide a update to the community regarding karmagames.info's downtime. I've already contacted tech support and got a near instant reply that they are aware of the issue and are working on getting back online. Any coins stored on the site are safe as they are stored externally. I was not given any ETA on when to expect service to be restored. Thanks for the patience during this unexpected downtime. UPDATE: Looks like we are back online. UPDATE 2: Or not, back down again.
