Guys, since OLD mintpal owners have access to KARM wallets, we have to push them to pay them based on screenshots of V2 and old balance from V1. If they do not pay it asap, police will sooner or later lock them. And than we will get very small % of our portfolio, if any. Ryan has stolen thousands of BTC, they may be many other coins missing. In case of official bankruptcy all remaining coins will be divided between all users. We will have to pay all those lost BTC by our KARM. So please everyone tweet, and write emails to them, to let us withdraw KARM before they are locked by police.

I don`t have any coins on any exchange, cause I have always thought this is an invitation for steeling. But, missing coins are far worst thing to any crypto economy than dump the coins on any exchange. I know there are many coin holders who think that 13-14 Bill of Karm out of circulation are a good thing. To those who are secretly hoping for these coins to not reach the market again I say they can not see far from their noses. So do what I do. Make several Twitter accounts and start putting pressure on Mintpal. If you have several Mintpal accounts as I do, use them also to create heat.

And one more thing - Missed opportunities to acquire several percentages profit are no match to loose all of your coins. I hope all of you have learned your lessons and you will never again keep your coins on any exchange. Or you are sure for example what is happening behind the curtains of Cryptsy or the coin cemetery Shittrex? I don`t think so.

I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with the above but I think the relevant person to follow or tweet is @ferdousbhai for anyone that is interested in what is happening with over 10 billion Karma.

So, me and heavyhess still have a 2 million karma bounty for anyone that can get our coins out. You should get in on this with us. If the price is high enough I am sure it will attract some heads that can do this forcefully.

I would have posted this sooner but I was banned from the forums for 3 days for posting one friendly invite on the givecoin thread for people to come and join the Karma community.
everyone please be advised that you cannot go onto other coin threads and "advertise" your coin in any way.

of anyone comes to the Karma thread to talk down Karma and talk up their own coin you can report it to the moderators and it will get them banned from using this site for 3 days. Wink

The funny thing is I too got "moderated" just for giving you a +1 on that post so I can tell you it wasn't me...

As far as I am concerned you are more than welcome to have RESPECTFUL discourse with people -- and that can absolutely include contrary opinions to the masses.

I'm not afraid to say (or hear) that the emperor has no clothes.

wow is this the post of yours that got deleted and you accused people here? because "+1" post get deleted all the times from alt-mods in this section. Including posts that advertise pools , services and wallet posting. it regular mods who go around and delete this post as they are trying to keep this section spam free.

my "+1" or anything else that is short and does not add anything gets deleted as well. Well some of them. I think it is random/when ever the mod is active and checks people post.

unfortunately. with exchanges having 200 confirmations up it is typical now to see people leave their coin in since it will take hours for them to move their coin in an exchange if they want to profit or sell at a peak.

So what do we need to do as a community to move forward? Although I lost 12.6mil on mintpal I am confident we can move past this. We have endured several sinkholes in the road as of late. There are shitty people in this world. All the more reason for good Karma to prevail. I am going to keep mining Karma and hopefully doing good things with it. I propose we rally behind a cause and all donate.

welcome, and thanks for the post.
having a donation drive is a good idea but the problem we have is lack of liquidity in the market due to the collapse of mintpal.

if we all donated coins now then the person collecting would have to dump them onto cryptsy so that they could transfer into BTC or fiat to give to the charity.
because cryptsy has low volume this would cause the price to drop significantly or it would make the transfer process extremely long and tedious.

so really we do need to wait for a liquid market to develop before we can move forward with any kind of significant donation drive.

kinda sucks but that's where we are now.

Just a small, humble plug for the https://doabitofgood.com/bit4bit matching funds -- we accept Karma directly and can do campaign matching in Karma directly without having to do the exchange -- otherwise, as you've noted, you're really only just shuffling deck chairs around if you send someone coins only to have them dump them all onto an exchange at one time.

The 1st four paragraphs are relevant to the current situation with Mintpal and Karma coin (not to suggest the rest of the post is not worth reading).

To follow up on that attorney action (urgent injunction) I posted earlier today, it's my understand now that Syscoin has initiated it (please don't quote me - do your own research):

I am not an expert in UK law by any means but to me it seems a little odd that this case would go to the high court without first going to a lower court. also if the court grants an injunction then there's should be a publicly available document somewhere that people can view.
it also seems a little odd how this would happen so quickly given the nature of how slow courts are.

so I would be sceptical about these claims without first seeing actual documentation.

as I said.. I am no expert on the UK court system.. I just find it a little strange. I have seen a lot of multimillion dollar bitcoin scams with the authorities and victims doing very little to chase down the scammers.

if this is a case where one set of victims have taken firm and decisive action then I am all for it but this could also mean that our coins get tied up in the UK court system for a long long time and they will end up getting paid out first while everyone else who is not part of the legal action gets to wait for the leftovers.
