There are a few big miners that have bots and are auto-selling into the order book, and staging orders.. This has been going on for a few months now.

I don't know who these people are, but we should see a dramatic shift after block 50,000 as all the "easy bluecoins" will have been mined.

Thanks for your support.

Same thing happened last month - end of month selling.  Most alts dropped hard around the same time.  I think miners sell their alts while hoarding BTC to pay their bills.

Until BTC takes off expect to see 99% of the alts consistently drop in value.  Good time to accumulate if you have the BTC [and the guts].

Cheers!

--------------------
Congrats BlueCoiner! This is article has great insight. Totally unexpected!

This is seriously some big news.  I'll begin writing my review for bluecoin.

This post is review #1 out of a total of 5 posts. I'll break them down as I begin my thoughts on each section.

Blue has been out for 3 months, and people have passed on it because they want to follow the hype of 'the traditional way' coins do it.
What blue has accomplished in 3 short months is beyond me. However, more people are beginning to finally open their eyes... and take action before they realize its too late.

Here is what unfolded in front of us, and the way I see things. I am in range.

BlueCoin Developments: Yes, the First X11 POW + POS Hybrid

#1) The BlueCoin Developer has been completely active and consistent throughout development stages (all the time). From launching the coin initially to upgrading as X11 POW and POS Hybrid, then finding out there was a small glitch, which was solved in less then a day.  The development team has produced results, time and time again, right in front of our eyes, on bitcointalk, and all over social media. The development status of BlueCoin is a big determining factor to my stand today, or I would not be wasting any of my time.

Media or Press, you are welcome to use my review, and quote my posts. Please link back to my posting direct links.

See my next post below to read Review #2 out of 5 as I begin writing my thoughts.

Missed Part #1 ? Read it ^^ above this post.

Part #2 out of 5 of my review and opinions on BlueCoin.
Media or Press, you are welcome to use my review, and quote my posts. Please link back to my posting direct links.

Transparency makes a difference

#2) Distribution is actually working, and the premine has been transparently distributed and used for growing the future of bluecoin. See #bluecoin, clearly, you don't get this kind of attention without having something to back you up on a solid reputation provided by the BlueCoin Team and the BlueCoin Foundation.

I felt there was transparency with clear and open communication. This is the way every dev should be when having any kind of premine. Small or large.

I look forward to knowing how things will work once the foundation begins to hold the future of bluecoin.

See my next post for part #3 out of 5 of my review and opinions on BlueCoin

Hey -

I want to let you get know someting about the bluecoin foundation.  While we are still evaluating who will be on the board of directors, we have established a chairman of the board.  While I will not disclose how he is at the moment, I can say, unequivocally, when you want to get something done, this is the guy to put in charge.  He hates being in charge normally, but in this case he was willing to accept the post, and we are all lucky as a result.

Second - and this a very important one.  The bluecoin foundation has only one thing in it's mission regarding bluecoin.  That is to post either a description of bluecoin, and likes to various and applicable sites.  The bluecoin foundation does, and will never have any active role in the politics, development, trading, or any type of direct involvement with the coin itself.

Bluecoin is a newer, more efficient, value transfer system.  Bluecoins are the value that is transferred.  It is much like bitcoin, except closer to Satoshi's actual dream of one CPU one vote.  The continued proof of work validation in conjunction with proof of stake offers a level of network continuity that no other coin has.  We will continue to develop products and services for blue coin such that it will end up being a much easier to use value mechanism then bitcoin.  This is all well and good.  It has nothing to do with the foundation, other than that when the value of bluecoin rises, it will benefit the foundation as one would expect them continue to be gifted blue.

So to sum up, let me just say this.  Bluecoin is an "alt" - but it's a damn well designed and executed one.  The bluecoin team has some of the best operators in the space behind it, and we are moving calmly, slowly, deliberately - with the patience of Jobe to make it work.

The bluecoin foundation, is totally separate.  There is for sure crossover.  But, there is also a group of very serious names from both inside the bitcoin world, the charitable world, and the places where they intersect.  It is however extremely important that people understand this point though.  The bluecoin team is here to support the bluecoin foundation.  Via volunteering time and donating blue.  The bluecoin foundation is not here to support bluecoin whatsoever, other than with a one page doc explaining bluecoin.  The bluecoin foundation exists to provide potable water to those who don't have it.  Our mission may expand in the future to cleaner air, energy ect... but please understand, the bluecoin foundation is a realy charitable one.  Not a political tool for bluecoin.  The bluecoin foundation will NEVER sponsor a bluecoin conference.  We the community can do that if we want.   The foundation will have a goal of spending no more than 5% of donations on overhead.  There will be 100% total transparency as to every coin, and dollar spent.  Any expense that brings us over 5% of a donation will require a 3/4 majority of the board's consent - and will also be completely transparent.

Board members will receive NO compensation at all, other than reimbursements for directly related costs, under the 5% threshold.

A lot of people like to say that "alts" are no bitcoin or whatever.  Can blue overtake bitcoin someday?  IDK - maybe.  But blue isn't bitcoin...

And far more importantly, the Bluecoin Foundation is not the Bitcoin Foundation.
