Hi all I am trying to point an antminer s3 at http://multipool.bit.diamonds/. Unfortunately I am getting close to 100% rejects. The s3 is working fine with 0 rejects at eligius.st. Can anyone offer some pointers about this issue? Thanks looking at multipool.bit.diamonds it seems only nicehash.com is supported for SHA256 looking at https://nicehash.com/software they support the "latest official cgminer" are you mining at stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334? Hi all.thanks for the responses. Yes I am mining at that address. I am connecting fine to nicehash and as I stated I am able to mine without an issue at Eligius.st. The version of cgminer that comes loaded on the ant is 3.12.0-1. So that may be the issue with the newer site software. Antminer has the latest firmware and NOt too sure if it is advisable to attempt to upgrade the S3 cgminer version. I see I could try to setup a stratum proxy possibly(sounds like a lot of trouble). Have scoured the web for some mention of this but really haven't found much. I also have the same issue with rejects at multipool.us and ghash.io. May try some older site like slush's pool to see if that site software works. This is my 1st antminer blade and it has a complex firewall built into the unit....I don't understand it all but it looks like the firewall may be rejecting some packets from the sites with all the rejects....just don't quite understand why some sites work and some don't. Was hoping someone here had an S3 and had a simple solution? Sounds like maybe that is too hopeful :-) UPDATESlush's pool seem to be working fine also with 0 to few rejects

u can use any btc payout pool if u use the btc address the dmd multipool provide ya just u wont get lotto tickets and ur hashrate wont show up in stats for any pool beside wafflepool and nicehash the automated conversion BTC->DMD will work as long as cryptsy have its wallet in maintainance status ur btc will be stored in dmd multipool until DMD withdraws again possible on cryptsy so mo mining is lost just the conversion towards dmd is delayed if u still wana try with nicehash they have a nice guide regarding stratum proxy https://www.nicehash.com/docs/connect-via-proxy/

Hiya Crypt
Thanks for the info.
I read the link and then the whole thread for the stratum proxy. If I understand correctly for one s3 (440 gh/s) I will have to make 110 separate miner groups due to the 4 gh/s limit? Or is that just for scrypt based miners and not sha256?

You'd better off contacting the devs. of nicehash regarding your issue as it seems it is a hardware and software dependent problem, not coin related. They will clearly tell you whether the antimer s3 is compatible with their multipool/proxy solution. Let us know how it goes.

@ Cryptonit,
Hi, I have a similar problem regarding wrong blockchain. I sent coins from exchange to my wallet, and they disappeared in transit. Read some stuff about this and how to retrieve diamond, so backed up wallet.dat, thereby erasing the original wallet.dat. I have since made newer copies of wallet.dat while experimenting to get those coins. (The coins exist in my wallet on blockchain) I have sent a further 1DMD to my wallet and it has arrived, somewhere my wallet doesn't read the other transaction. Could you please take me through the process for getting the right info to the wallet, I believe it has something to do with downloading private keys?
Regards Chilo

You can however use your asic to mine in a multipool (Scrypt, SHA256, Scrypt-N, X11, X13, Keccak and X15) which will then exchange the coins into DMD.

ASIC mining has not helped the value of LTC at all. I realize that all coins have lost value in the last 6 months or so, but if you look at Vertcoin (VTC) its loss has been less than some of the other coins. I think that's because Vertcoin is ASIC resistant and the little miners are keeping that coin afloat. If ASICS comes to DMD in a big way, it will hurt the value of the coin in the long term.

i think u missunderstand something here diamond are mined via groestl algo and without asics BUT people who have asic equipment and cant mine diamonds (because only GPU/CPU can mine groestl algo) can use our http://multipool.bit.diamonds/ to get rewarded with DMD for their mining this is the way asic mining we talking about (gpu miners can use that multipool too to abuse it when some x1x algo have a good reward ratio i always switch my GPUs between direct dmd mining and multipool mining whatever provide me more diamonds for my invested electricity) and this was the success-street of BC who first used coin converting multipools as a tool of creating exchange buy demand there is nothing wrong with copy that idea but the impact depends on the hashrate on http://multipool.bit.diamonds/but its pretty good and stable increasing so i see a bright future for it and regarding groestl algo asics its just a matter of success if our plans will be successful sure in a year or two groestl asics will be reality but until that happens u have plenty of time dig for dimonds with ur GPUs
