and need to upgrade to be able participate again

If there are no work, then why are there a working chain on 193.68.21.68(primary block explorer) ?
Bug(s) in CBlock::CheckBlock / bnTarget.SetCompact(nBits) will be fixed?

The block explorer is confused by my attempt to fix the issue, but the fix will require the steps crypto nit outlined. So I had to stop it. The block explorer will return to normal when that chain is no longer 'longest', in few more PoS blocks..

The current nBits value is 480031577. For example hash=000000000e9bf94ed548e395618923f4c645240422b2ad5ed6c8a6440a1d7db0.

CheckProofOfWork return false, because when calculated bnTarget from nBits is negative(-0x1cb35900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000), but the correct target has to be 0x9cb35900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

It look likes the first bit transformed to sign bit. If bnTarget<=0 then you have to correct it, for example
If (bnTarget<=0) bnTarget=0x80000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000-bnTarget;
It is an ugly, fast hacking, the long term fix is eliminating the signed variables.

DMD Diamond and NOBL Noblecoin will work closer together in the future
this include transfer of POS know-how and sharing access to the great Noble Marketplaces
