Yep, what happened to the "deal" srcxxx made to open source the optimized groestl (and then came back here begging for help when the last fork occured )... I'm still testing my own work on tweaking groestl

but i have to say u made errors with groestl

all my rigs have a much better  groestl vs x11 x13  rating than ur default ratting suggest

your numbers:
x11 9000 x13 6500 groestl 11000 is normalized to factor 1.38 vs 1 vs 1.69
real life rig 3x amd 290
x11 14500 x13 9800 groestl 45000 is normalized to factor 1.47 vs 1 vs 4.5

im not sure where ur error is coming from i guess u dont used up to date mining software and gpu driver

groestl need amd catalyst 14.6 and a miner like this here

there people report this hashrate with new ccminer 1.2 and single gtx750ti
x11 2700 x13 2100 groestl 7500 is normalized to factor  1.28 vs 1 vs 3.57

if we not go for average between amd and nividia based mining the factor is

(1.47+1.28)/2=1.37
(1+1)/2=1
(4.5+3.57)/2=4.01

so the true factor on ur defaut setting should be

x11 (6500x1.37)=8900 (so here u pretty close)
x13 (6500x1)=6500
groestl (6500x4.01)=26000 (u have only 11000 there and so very inaccurate)

please update ur default hashrate like this or at least let ur technicans verify my numbers u will find out ur bad groestl performance have reason old driver and miner

I use the EVGA Superclock cards.  I use powered risers.  I do not overclock however I have heard others do.

I have some good news.

I have tested the 750 Ti. They are indeed very efficient and I am sure they can still be tweaked a bit to achieve better hashrates. They are currently giving me ~6.8/6.9 Mhash for 55 watt each with the basic configuration. This was the first good news.

The second good news is that I was able to run both AMD R9 280x GPUs alongside the two new NVIDIA GRX 750 Ti on the same rig.

This is just a test and I am using grs-sgminer for the 280xs and ccminer 1.2 (beta) for the 750 Tis. Ultimately I will be replacing all 280x for 750ti.

Also I have noticed that there is virtually no heat coming out of the 750 Ti. Compared to the 280x, they are totally silent.

Thank you for sharing this info. It really is good news to be able to mix AMD and Nvidia. Certainly opens up some interesting choices and opportunities. I'm looking forward to test a 750ti card myself when I'm back from my vacation. Good luck with the mining

The new wallet works perfectly fine. I have some questions though about some parameters.

What's the difference between the Stakepower element in getmininginfo and the Minting weight/Network weight in the mini-stats tooltip? And is the weight in mini-stats somehow linked to coinage or is it just a number?

When you activate Coin Control there is a column named Priority. What does this mean? Is it linked in some way to minting, so that for example the coins with high priority has already been minted, or are they about to be minted? Or does priority mean something else?

The stakepower element is essentially the sum of coin age of all eligible coins (amounts).

The weight wallues are ...  just numbers. Used in order to create reasonable comparison. We might adjust these numbers in future.

The Priority column in coin control is related to coin age. Older coins have higher priority. The code is from bitcoin and the concept is that you might have to pay fee for newer coins. So the original theory is the higher priority ask for less fees. This is it true for Diamond. In our case you should consider priority as an measure of the chance of the coins to stake. We have some more work to do here, especially the tool tips information, which is sometimes confusing. For example it talks about 0.01 fees, while ours are 0.001.

The stakepower element is measured in coin days. For example, if you have stakepower of 10, that might mean (most likely) you have 1 DMD value, with age of 10 days.
If you have stakepower 100, that might mean either you have 10 DMD amount 10 days old, or 5 DMD amount 20 days old or any other combination that yeld 100 coins*age of eligible coins. Coins become eligible for staking after being 7 days old.

The coin age is measured in absolute time. You could derive a close approximation, by diving the 'confirmations' element in 'listunspent' by 720 (24 hours by 60 minutes) as Diamond has a general block spacing of 1 minute.

Nornally I use ubuntu to mine. But since I didn't want to screw up all the hard work I have put in making the ubuntu work rather seamlessly I prefered making the test under Windows 7 wich is my secondary boot partition. It might be possible to do it under an *nix environment but I don't want to lose anymore time pausing my rig to install/unistall etc etc, specially because I will have to forcibly shut down the rig due to a melted connector in the PSU...No idea how that happned!!!... so if anyone is willing to do it in ubuntu/linux/xubuntu, that would be very welcomed and valuable to the community.

Well as I mentioned to Cryptonit, when I bought the 750 Ti I totally omitted they were Nvidia... I can't make them run on my running rig as all other GPUs are AMD. I am trying to sell all of my 280x so that I can replace them with 750 Ti.

What are you asking for 280x, I find them good on X11, X13

Yes they are good for other algos indeed. I just don't see many other coins out there that are worth my attention at the moment.

The cards are fairly new dating from late March of this year. So they have been running for only around 3 month or so. I am located in Thailand so shipping might actually make them not so cheap if sent around the world. I would need to check before though with the post office.

I've been to Thailand 30+ years ago while I was in the Navy  Been a long time since I have traded in baht lol might have a few in an old photo album.  Looked at round-trip prices to Bangkok $1100+ I guess another vacation is out of my range
