it aims to be average 1 POW each minute so count the minutes or even better ask the blockexplorer but let me do that for u Block Time: September 29, 2014, 13:59:04 BLOCK 579857 Block Time: September 30, 2014, 13:58:20 BLOCK 581269 581269-579857=1412 so it means a few block less than expected where produced other days a few block more average it will be around 24x60=1440

we got feedback from cryptsy they confirm everything was ok with DMD wallet ...we update and maintain our wallets we are moving them to our new architecture... ...this had nothing to do with DMD or its blockchain. It was just internal maintenance...... ...Depending on transaction volume this can take some time..... It finished early this morning and im preparing to bring it back up now. so i hope its now clear we did anything right at our release hardfork wallet process and the maintenance that happened close to hardfork time did just look like we are responsible for it

average it will be around 24x60=1440 Keep in mind that 144 blocks go to Proof of Stake minting. So the end result should be around 1296.

So the end result should be around 1296. in theory pos blocks should add on top but it might be pow dont see the difference and so creating less pow blocks we let danbi have a look into it so lets say for now POW blocks are expected between average 1200-1500 each day more details will come when danbi enlight us

I'm not a Mac user but you might find this useful. Please note u need to run the wallet client at least once for the folder with all the associated files to appear. I assume it's the same as in Linux and Windows, you just copy over downloaded files into the Diamond hidden folder. In order to see hidden folders, such as ~/Library from Finder, simply hit shift + ⌘ (command) + G which will GO to a folder, then paste in this location:
~/Library/Application Support/Diamond From there, you will see all the files associated with your wallet. P.S. please tell if it worked for you so I could add this to the FAQ section

Open Finder and in the Go drop down menu you need to hold option key to expose Library, from there you can click Application Support and create a Diamond folder for .conf

things are changing down under this is what the Australian government has done
September 30, 2014 Leave a Reply
In August, the Australian Tax Office (ATO) released a guidance paper on the tax treatment of crypto-currencies. The ATO stated that the supply of bitcoin is taxable for goods and services tax (GST) purposes. We wrote previously about the steps we’re taking to understand their guidance.
Here’s what we have determined. The ATO’s Guidance
When you buy bitcoin in Australia, the price quoted to you will include 10% GST, which the seller must pay to the ATO.
When you convert bitcoin to Australian dollars, the guidance is more complicated. If you are not a GST-registered business, GST will not apply when you place a sell order.
However, if you are a GST-registered business you may need to collect the GST as part of your sales. How this affects you.
Buying bitcoin
If you buy bitcoin at CoinJar, you will be charged 10% GST as of October 3. We’ll generate a tax invoice showing you how much GST you paid.
Selling bitcoin
If you are a customer selling bitcoin for personal use, there will be no change. If you’re selling bitcoin on behalf of a GST registered business, you will be prompted to register your GST status at point of sale. When you submit a sell order, we will ask you to confirm GST collection. CoinJar will generate a recipient created tax invoice (RCTI) on your behalf for every sell order with GST applied.
At this point, these changes affect CoinJar Filler only. Other CoinJar products, such as the recently launched CoinJar Swipe, will not be affected by this determination. The Future of Bitcoin in Australia
We’ve worked hard to confirm these changes with the ATO and integrate them into our existing products.
We are updating the system in preparation for this as of midnight tonight. The system will state that all prices include GST, but the price will not increase. We will be applying the 10% charge from 12am October 3. We will cover GST liability on buy orders placed between 12AM October 1 to 12AM October 3.
In many ways the guidance has bought clarity to the position of bitcoin users in Australia. However, we don’t believe the ATO’s guidelines are ideal for bitcoin in this country. We believe in a simpler financial system, and we will continue work with the ATO to help them discover a fairer position.
In nutshell: coinjar has to move to other country or it is the end.

Bad move on part of ATO ... how can you tax and unearned income or even consider BTC an income (They just want their hands in the cookie jar too LOL). I agree this must not be allowed to happen! It opens the door to other D*^#F&^ck governments to try taxation also! Don't let it happen ...

To late to invest in the cloud mining?
Nope cryptonit just announced a few posts ago that cloudmining still open although I think buy orders are outstripping sell orders from genuine DMD groestl miners price will continue to rise as demand is over available supply ... Please do join into multi-algo cloudmining project, this will raise the value of my fee free coins I sell no coins I PoS them all for the long term reward ... supply will always be below demand with multi-algo-pool operation creating buy orders which only Pow and PoS can fulfill

@cryptonit what are projected expected returns on invest of $100 monthly in DMD? (How long to ROI?) With steady increasing price I forsee lower and lower returns so this is a self defeating way to get DMD. Also looking at rate of rise in price vs re-invest ... Thinking of re-opening my pool in a virtual machine on my entertainment box locally (that's only way to afford to run it, on 24/7/365 and raid 6 ).

Another negative for Cryptsy now 0.01 BTC minimum withdraw so I cant move to another exchange WTF! So much for arbitrage for small time miners (0.0001 fee does not bother me to move BTC around).

Usually 1DOGE I have < 0.01BTC sitting on Cryptsy and can not move it nor want to spend it there, better price on DMD at Usecryptos but I'm stuck ... what does DOGE have to do with it LOL (Even if I eat 0.0001 fee I can still make better buy DMD).
