I succesfully withdrew DMD from Cryptsy a few hours ago, do not know about deposits yet, I have some KARM I sent to be converted to BTC to buy DMD ... who knows, If it's just the BTC wallet having probs, No Problemo for me KARM->LTC->BTC->DMD

DMD wallet at cryptsy is full operational

but one of the cryptsy btc wallets which unfortunately  host our multipool BTC deposit address to convert BTC>DMD is still resyncing blockchain

When our server crashed yesterday, we added a new BTC wallet so that ppl could generate new addresses, this wallet is up and running. The old wallet is still downloading the chain

And that's why I still solo mine DMD rather than pool mine   No Hassles   I do mine other coins also to convert to DMD   I am not using wafflepool atm, there is a problem with some negative balances on my WP accounts ... mining at Multipool.us and converting on my own ... till PW investigates problem ...

I don't mean to sound pessimistic but what is the point of getting on Mintpal when we can't even have a good showing on useCryptos?  I as well as others invested some BTC to get listed there but all of the volume left to go back to Cryptsy.  I like Cryptsy but I just can't see the near term benefit of getting on another exchange?  I am concerned that DMD will be delisted from useCryptos.  Maybe I don't see the bigger picture - any insight is appreciated.

I agree pokeytex what's the point if there is going to be zero volume, I spent a lot of time voting for usecryptos and  ...  
multipool needs to be switched to usecryptos if we have any chance of staying listed there ...

Ever since sha256 difficulty increased so much and I sold my block erupters most of my profit comes from trading between mintpal and Cryptsy I am happy to use other exchanges too but only if price is competitive.

Pokeytex just like the others had said Mint Pal is different to useCryptos. We do believe UseCryptos will grow as it adds more coins and releases their API to allow for multipoool trading; this single fact would make it the most competitive place to trade Diamonds.
Also with time (slowly but surely) we will see more coins generated so inevitably being on MintPal will make more sense as the time passes.

Besides, I'm not prepared to waste our community effort of continuous voting - we deserve to be there weather it makes sense or not, we voted, we made the effort, we care.

Understood - Everyone's response makes sense to me.  I knew I was missing something regarding the API and auto functions that Cryptsy has.  I do like useCryptos - they are so fast and it is easy to deposit and make a quick purchase.  But you are right Cryptsy is just a bit more anchored in when it comes to coin selection and deeper inner workings.  Thanks all for the continued responses/support.  Have a great Labor Day weekend to anyone celebrating.
