This is a hard coin to get. Not many coins for sale.
We need to get the BIG BAG HOLDERS back, so that there will be more coins to buy or sell. Where is OCdev or Jim Rambler?

The good thing about OC is that it's POS. Once the coins are purchased they are gone off the market. The coin doesn't really drop in value every day from new POW coins.

I'm still interested in a farmer selling oranges for OC.

We need to get the old BAG HOLDERS BACK, we expect interesting events soon.

Yep, it maybe a good time to dust off the OC wallet and get staking, folks. It's good for the network, too!

OLD MEMBERS, PLEASE SYNC YOUR ORANGECOIN WALLETS TO EARN STAKE INTEREST.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626120.0

I'm trying to sync but for the past couple months, it gets to a certain point and just goes no further. Right now, stuck at 79.86%. I tried moving the files out and starting a fresh sync and it only downloaded 10500 blocks and got stuck.

Using the most current wallet on a Mac. Never had problems for months and months but now its like pulling teeth trying to get it to sync. 12 active connections and nothing seems to happen. Any ideas on what my options are?

You need to repeatedly close and open your wallet as soon as it gets stuck. This means that you should dedicate I hour to this job - close and repeatedly re-open your wallet every 2 - 3 minutes (do this about 10 - 20 times). This method worked for me and others.

Ugh. I have been trying that but it is only doing 1 transaction at a time and the percentage has not changed at all. Is there any other way? It looks like at this pace it will take an eternity.

You have to try this method again and again. Just dedicate some time to this when you are neXt to your PC.

Hi. Thank you for supporting OC!

The client seems to pause every 500 blocks or so, please remain patient. If you leave your wallet open overnight while you sleep, you should see it fully synced when you wake. OC is almost a year old and plenty of transactions to catch up on. As long as you have multiple connections, you should be alright. Smiley

Closing and reopening the wallet does speed up the process, but it will sync by itself over time.

It's planned to be a light retail store offering people a variety of items that can be purchased with orange coin. As well as an informational hub and resource site.

I have been trying to get old members to sync their wallets, it could take a couple of days for members to check their messages.

Can't mine OC, only PoS. Bittrex has some for sale Wink

The Nodes have been postponed until we find a person willing to take on the project, and that's if we want to continue down that road. Who knows, we might want something else done with OC if we as a community choose. Plenty of intelligent people and talent in the crypto community. Smiley

Ok. I had to delete all my old OC files and re-sync and then rebuild the wallet but now everything is caught up and good to go. Hopefully some good things will be upcoming as I have quite a few OC that have been gathering dust.
