Hello I am a new Dev to Orangcoin


Anon/masternodes will be coming in stages

First stage - give the community the "proposed" spec on masternodes, as well as some info on masternodes to start the familiarity process of the community.

Second stage - Release the masternode files and detailed instructions on how to set one up.

Third stage - after maternodes have been up, running and stable We will then start sending Anon transactions through them

Stage 2 & 3 don't have dates set yet, we will have a better idea of dates after we get the final masternode specs. Which are being worked though based on the communities suggestions.

Also during stage 2 the masternodes will began receiving reward payout even though Anon transactions are not being sent through them until stage 3. This will be done to both test rewards working proper and help off set server cost. We want masternode servers earning rewards from day one.

The Amazon link in the wiki has parentheses, takes you to a 404. Deleting the  )  will take you to correct site. I tried making account to edit myself, still waiting on confirmation so I can activate my account.  

I have removed the issue with login in the wiki. You should be able to create accounts now without any issues. I have also fixed the link issue it should now work.

How long could  such a process take ? Is there any  timeline ?

Would it be possible to make a post on 3 different possible Masternodes specifications and then we make a vote  ?

I'd like to add my input on the numbers but I don't how much the devs are aiming for, for the masternodes payout. I'd assume they'd want 2% of the coin cap from their model. I'd go as far as 10-20% with a larger amount of OC required per Mnode, like 10k, but only if they choose options B or C of my scenarios. I haven't checked these numbers, Idk if they would work.

The fees/prices associated with the free year at amazon hosting AFTER the free year becomes like another electric bill. There are so many options to choose from, and have no idea how much data 1 Mnode would use. Need to know what data package we'd need (per operating system) to buy or if we could just re-sign up with a new account and get another free year. Is it contracted 1 free year for like a 5 year contract? Who's got experience with this who can answer?
